jdobbin Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 http://www.politico.com/blogs/anneschroede...f_of_Staff.html Former Bush adviser Karl Rove was verbally accosted Thursday evening by an ex-chief of staff to former Rep. Tom Feeney (R-Fla.).Rove was quietly having dinner at the tony restaurant Charlie Palmer Steak on Capitol Hill when he was aggressively approached by Jason Roe, the former Feeney staffer. Roe, now of Federal Strategy Group, was "loud and boisterous" toward Rove. He was apparently (still) upset over the following comments Rove made on Fox News, the day after the election, in which Feeney — along with many other Republicans — went down in flames. Looks like Rove has a few Republicans out for his hide. Look at the rest of the exchange in the link. Quote
Shakeyhands Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 It's certainly interesting watching the GOP implode. I'd love to get inside Rove's circle for a bit, I imagine it would be pretty interesting. Quote "They muddy the water, to make it seem deep." - Friedrich Nietzsche
jdobbin Posted April 10, 2009 Author Report Posted April 10, 2009 *yawn* Every time Rove speaks, his abrasiveness hurts the Republicans. Quote
sharkman Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 I've seen him speak several times in the last month. What abrasiveness are you talking about? So the guy has people in his party that disagree with him, big deal. Quote

jdobbin Posted April 10, 2009 Author Report Posted April 10, 2009 The GOP has certainly been a poster child in the last few months for "poor losers." Here is the latest Rove attack: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0409/21103.html Karl Rove called Joe Biden a “blowhard” and a “liar” in response to some of the vice president’s comments about the Bush administration. Rove only knows one strategy: attack, attack, attack. Quote

BubberMiley Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 ...but will never equal the height of loser's dismay exhibited by the Democrats after the 2000 election. Uh...Norm Coleman and the GOP did that months ago in Minnesota. And they don't even have an excuse like the Dems had with the electoral abuses in Florida. punked Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 I hear he has been keeping Loyalty files on those who were with or against Bush. Why I don't know probably to weed out the Socialists and Communists. Better dead then red right? But did Rove really just admit that he kept a file of Feeney's criticism's of George Bush? If that's true, he almost certainly didn't stop at Feeney -- there were plenty of Republican lawmakers who were just as outspoken as Feeney, if not more so, on the subject of Bush's failings. Who else did Rove have files on? http://tpmmuckraker.talkingpointsmemo.com/..._fi.php?ref=fp1 Quote
Radsickle Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 (edited) I hear he has been keeping Loyalty files on those who were with or against Bush. Why I don't know probably to weed out the Socialists and Communists. Better dead then red right? Didn't the Nazis do something similar? Rove's just Himmler re-incarnated into a capitalist version.
