Canadian 14 year olds (I guess what they do in the US is their business) should never be thrown into prison for life without a chance of parole. Why? Because they're kids. Public safety trumps liberal coddling....even when they are mentally ill. So tells ya what...we will just change the name from "Prison" to "Liberal Mental Health So We Can Feel Superior Want A Hug Facility". Quote Economics trumps Virtue.

Why people insist on thinking public safety is compromised without a mean-spirited vindictive justice system is rooted in the same bedrock of fear, ignorance and loathing that's usually reserved for the mentally ill. More....feelings...nothing more than feelings. Meanwhile, the grownups have to deal with real public safety issues after the victims are buried or cremated....if they can find a body (or parts).
