The US Air Force is going online to go against what ever negative things that bloogers have to say about the government or the Air Force. Could this happen here? www.inforwars.com/?p=7059

That's the wrong approach, IMO.

The US military establishment needs to take a wider view of the costs of holding all information no matter how trivial. When they released the Pentagon video of the 911 crash, they only showed a single frame. The re-release wasn't much better. Whatever advantage they're gaining from not releasing that type of information causes problems in other areas - such as fostering suspicion in the conspiracy world.

And I do NOT want this to springboard into another 9/11 discussion.

Resist the thread drift !

Don't hold your breath waiting for that. The US military has specific reasons for controlling such information, if only to deny an enemy confirmation of damage and successful methods. Domestically, the FBI provides cover for such information management.

As for the conspiracy nuts......let them have their fun. It's a free country....and a wonderful opportunity for even more disinformation by the military when desired.

I'm worried about these people. They're fun to laugh at, it's true, but they're zealots at heart.

We've come a long way from burning witches at the stake....the "truth" has always been manipulated for sale.
