When the crisis started again with Israel and Hamas, the UN took a vote and the US voted against a ceasefire because they said what was the use when the Hamas wouldn't honour it. Well, now it seems that the UN security has voted again for a ceasefire and now Israel says it won't agree to one. So what is the US going to do about Israel if they seem to be the aggressor in this crisis? Israel are killing civilians and at one point told them that they would be safe in this one building and so after the people went there they bombed the place killing almost all of the 40 people who were there.

The US will abstain from the vote and watch the Chicken Littles run around screaming "cease fire".

If the rockets won't stop, there is little reason for Israel to stop either.

Hamas has also rejected a ceasefire...

I wish Canada would demand an immediate ceasefire the moment Hamas is destroyed or they surrender.

So the world just sit and waits until everyone in the Gaza is dead EXCEPT the Hamas leaders who will survive to battle another war? I rather have the UN say, the two leaders, pick your weapon and fight to the death and whoever survive gets the land and that way only ONE live is lossed! We should have done it the same way for Bush and Hussein. I think Hussein would have pick a sword and Bush would have pick a beer or coke.

War isn't fair. Hamas wrote its own eulogy via its charter and the people 'elected' them...at least in the local elections (ask a Fatah member). Israel is the big stick on the block and they've been attacked for months via katushya rockets.

It may seem like a cliche', but what would you want of your country's military if some terrorist outfit was shelling you on a daily basis? Pretty hard to take the kids to soccer practice with Muslim extremists lobbing rockets at the playground. Or, would you just let the children play, knowing in your heart that Hamas's rockets are merely the 'resistance' of an 'oppressed' people. Tough s&*t for us...

C'mon...spill it.
