Another Effect of the Recession ? Unrest in China ?

Recommended Posts

CNN

About 2,000 people rioted in the impoverished northwestern province of Gansu last month over plans to move Longnan's city government offices, which were damaged in the May 12 Sichuan earthquake, to a nearby county.

The worst thing about unstable economic times is that they can spill over into other types of conflicts. An internal conflict in China would cause a huge disruption in the global economy.

And creat job opportunies elsewhere.

Eitherway....can't cry over Chinese spilt milk.

There will not be unrest in China - there will actually be a need rest. The Chinese population involved in the industrial sector are probably sick and tired of being tied to the work bench - I am sure growing a bit of rice and taking a nice country walk with the kid will be worth any economic lowering of their "life style" - China is a horrific slave state...and to give them a year off will be welcomed...the only ones worried about China are the Walmart executives and their "assoicates" - slavish employees...I don't do Walmart - Utilitarian consumer frenzy is not for me...you could get trampled.

Exactly. Really, who now knowingly and willingly buys anything made in China?

Do you think that the old guard in China has forgotten the rape and pillage and destruction of their best youth through western exported opium? Do you think that these guys care if there is led in your babies soother? The want lead in the soother! I mention earlier that over 20 million dozes of ecstacy were found in a container from mainland China...no one seem to want to reprimand them...seems it's everyone out for themselves - China and us.....real civilized trade agreement
