punked Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 He is? How many Separatists(spell it like this please) has he appointed? You used the plural so there must be more than one. Is there even one? Who?Yes, the Senate has to go because the Tories have 38 seats in it now instead of 20 whereas the Liberals have 50+ seats. The Tories must not be allowed to have any input to our country right? Typical socialist arrogance. The NDP have always been for the Senate going regardless of who was in charge. You guys were for it going when you weren't in charge now it is your baby and best friend all at the same time. Typical Conservative no morals or scruples. Quote

The one where you run the government and pretend like you are somehow a victim of the times? You guys get more then input you run the country. Quote

jdobbin Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 And Liberals appointed a seperatist as GG. Really? The Tory right wing just loves to smear. Give evidence of this or is this just another example of some people mouthing off. Quote
Riverwind Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 Really? The Tory right wing just loves to smear. Give evidence of this or is this just another example of some people mouthing off.Where is the evidence that the newly appointed senator currently supports seperation. His position on the 1995 referendum is as irrelevant as the GG's. Quote To fly a plane, you need both a left wing and a right wing.
NanaimoConservative Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 Let's hope not.Either keep that backwards right wing reform garbage on the prairies or move to a place where people think like you do. I bet you like to think you could actually dictate where I should live. The thing is that we are living where people think like us no matter where we live. We are doing whatever necessary to have more people around us think like us. From the inside out. Quote
jdobbin Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 Where is the evidence that the newly appointed senator currently supports seperation. His position on the 1995 referendum is as irrelevant as the GG's. The Tories certainly didn't think Jean's position was irrelevant. The problem is that they didn't have evidence that she supported separation or voted that way. You decided to do a drive by smear like so many other Conservatives have. Conservatives seem convinced that the man they put in the Senate is not a separatist anymore but they felt the same way about Bouchard as well. Quote
Mr.Canada Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 (edited) Ok guys this topic is getting out of control now, lets try to stay on topic ok guys? I would vote Tory since they seem most able to provide a stable government free of scandal and corruption like ADScam. Mr.Canada Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 (edited) I don't recall any politicians being arrested as a result of the sponsorship scandal, do you? A vote for the Tories is a vote fopr reasonable, stable government. Is Canada ready for more arrogance and sense of entitlement that led to ADScam? The Liberals are so arrogant they don't feel the need to be elected into power in order to govern. Smallc Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 (edited) I see you don't have an answer to the question. All you seem to be able to give me are talking points. Edited December 29, 2008 by Smallc Quote

Try not to be so presumptuous...Just not interested one iota in kooky right wing politics.By the way, that does'nt mean that I'm not conservative on a few issues.Good to see though, that the Western kooks have some sort of Eastern underground movement going on.You should test your clout out by trying to get the Tory leader in Ontario an actual seat at Queens Park. Mr.Canada Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 Me thinks Mr.Halton Hills would be much more happy with that crowd. Yes because I'm a Catholic who lives his faith I must be some sort of extremist. Try to be original in your insults please. This only further proves my assertions that Christianity is under attack constantly. I won't allow my faith to be weakened by heretics I keep my eyes firmly on the vision of Jesus Christ. Jack Weber Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 It's not an insult,Mr.Halton Hills...You have stated that the Conservative Party is not "conservative enough" for you and some of their platforms make you morally uncomfortable. Why not join a group more in line with your personal ideology? Calling me a heretic is insulting,Mr.Halton Hills..Stop being paranoid... Quote The beatings will continue until morale improves!!!
Radsickle Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 (edited) Actually, Mr. Halton Hills, I am insulting you. Halton's been ruined by conservative MPs, MPPs and their supporters. Too many idiots in that area supported Mike Harris over and over. Deregulation and Sprawl are what they love. How dare you call yourself Mr. Canada yet deride others for arrogance. DrGreenthumb Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 Yes because we all know no other PM would have made the appointments right? That's the first thing the Coalition was going to do.So going back to the original question yet again. Try answering it this time folks. DrGreentUHUMB: Would your friends be as disgusted with the DIon or Coalition appointments? Probably not. Most of my family and friends are well informed enough to know that a prime minister who has the confidence of parliament is entitled to make senate appointments. What really pisses people off the most is that Harper did this after running away from a confidence motion that would have defeated his government. He is not a legitimate prime minister. He is trying to stuff the senate with his cronies when he really lacks the authority to do so. Harper is a coward who ran away from parliament rather than face the consequences of his actions. He ran away like a dog with his tail between his legss, not a male dog either, harper is just a cowardly little bitch. Quote

I'm surprised the Con's have'nt tried to parachute John Tory into that riding to get him a seat at Queens Park.I assume the MPP from Halton Hills is is a Con,but I can't remember who he is...It's got to be a right wing kook like Frank Klees or something...
