Topaz Posted September 23, 2008 Report Posted September 23, 2008 I was so surprised to see the Conservatives having Levant as their strategist on Duffy. Is Harper's views on Muslims the same as Levant's?? Is that why he won't bring home the 14 year old now 21 from Cuba?? Is the old Alliance ways showing?? Quote

Smallc Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 What are Levants views on muslims?I would look myself but the link you didn't use ain't working His views aren't anything bad. What he believes is that we should be able to say what we want short of utter hatred in a free country and I agree with him. Quote
August1991 Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 I was so surprised to see the Conservatives having Levant as their strategist on Duffy.I'm surprised that Mike Duffy learned of this and then announced it.Is Ezra Levant hunkered down in the War Room living off fours sleep and phone-in chicken and pizza or is he at home in his jammies answering the phone every so often? I'm not sure about the War Room, and I'm not sure how often the phone rings, but the part about living on phone-in pizza and hanging around in his jammies sounds believable. -k Quote (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Friendly forum facilitator! ┬──┬◡ノ(° -°ノ)
Topaz Posted September 24, 2008 Author Report Posted September 24, 2008 What are Levants views on muslims?I would look myself but the link you didn't use ain't working Remember he was the person that reprinted the controversial editorial cartoon depicting Muhammad, the founder of Islam. Was it Freedom of speech or just another way to irritate the Muslim community? He was also a Reformer, a neo Con, was in favour of Quebec separating, which he thought would lead to Ottawa saying no to special interest groups like the First Nation and environmentalists. He was / is for Alberta separatism. What I didn't know was HE was the one to step aside his candidacy so Harper could run in 2001,but only after pressure from the Reform/Alliance party. Maybe Harper owes him. Quote

Maybe Harper owes him. It is both freedom of speech and the press. People like Charles Adler and Rex Murphy support him and the human rights charges were dropped. He didn't print hatred and only exercised his right as a Canadian citizen and that should be maintained. Quote
