Topaz
For anyone who lives in the rural parts and has an aerial for their TV, it will come to an end next February. Those living around the Great Lakes and watch Michigan or Ohio stations they are saying you need this box because everything is going digital. The only problem with these boxes I hear is that they are only good if you are within 25 miles of their stations. So, it looks like there will be more dishes hanging on the towers of the people in the rural areas.

That happened when satellite TV became affordable, watching 2 or 3 channels when somebody in town got 100 was ridiculous. Satellite TV picked up and now everyone gets great tv. I do miss the old 14ft satellite dishes with a huge selection of channels.
M.Dancer
As it happens Rogers dropped off a Digital box a few days ago. They are giving them away free for a year. After that you pay (in which case I would just buy one) They the cable companies are going to be up to the eyes in stinky stuff come the change over when 10s of thousand who haven't hooked a didgital box start calling to find out why their cable is off...and thats why they are trying to get as many people on now.
