Looks like there is a new political correct language to deal with Muslims in Britain.

Only one way to describe the obvious ongoing downfall of the Western world, sad, sad, sad.

Good for the British government. They're right, yknow. Who gives a shit what the terrorists politics are - its thier actions that make em terrorists. Those that don't act are not terrorists. Its the Western way don't you know.

No one is a terrorist for no reason.

In the case of Britain, what are the terrorist (Muslims) demanding to halt such terrorism?

Those that don't act are not terrorists.

That reasoning produces a conflict of interest, exploiting the national security of a country, that in turn downplays the actions of volatile group, unless proven otherwise, is giving away the countries national interest.

It warns those engaged in counter-terrorist work that talk of a struggle for values or a battle of ideas is often heard as a "confrontation/clash between civilisations/cultures". Instead it suggests that talking about the idea of shared values works much more effectively.

Since when will Muslims conform to the ideologies of a Christian country or society?

Is this not what the clash of civilizations is all about?

quote-Reflecting the government's decision to abandon the "aggressive rhetoric" of the so-called war on terror, the guide tells civil servants not to use terms such as Islamist extremism or jihadi-fundamentalist but instead to refer to violent extremism and criminal murderers or thugs to avoid any implication that there is an explicit link between Islam and terrorism.end of quote

But the reality is,that nearly all terrorism in the world today is perpetuated by Ialamic terrorists. All this does is prove Orwell was right. New speak!

One can not cure a problem unless one recognizes a problem. The problem is Islamic terrorism. To call it anything else suger coated is dishonest.

I personally look fondly back to the days when the British were driven out of Palestine by Zionist terrorists.

Two links for you...

Link #1

Link #2

Both units contained volunteers and leaders from the British Mandate of Palestine. Both units produced the veterans that went on to fight in 1948. Just a small, subtle difference, I suppose.

As for the article, you've got to love the bit where they talk about trying to win the hearts and minds of their own British citizens. They're screwed...aren't they?

Whoever allies himself with the Kaffirs against the believers - he is one of them. So those so-called enemies to Allah who join the British Government - 'cos remember the British Government, my dear Muslim brothers, are crusaders... crusaders come to kill and rape Muslims. Whoever joins them - he who joins the British Army, the American Army, he is a mortal kaffir and his only hukum (punishment) is for his head to be removed. Indeed, whoever changes his deen (religious way of life); kill him.

Terrorism must be working

well , it works so well for the US?

when it's done by the US it can be called

"freedom"

"democracy"

"peacemaking"

"nationbuilding"

"stabilising"

and other such great double speak words.

Insults are the ammunition of the unintelligent - do not use them. It is okay to criticize a policy, decision, action or comment. Such criticism is part of healthy debate. It is not okay to criticize a person's character or directly insult them, regardless of their position or actions. Derogatory terms such as "loser", "idiot", etc are not permitted unless the context clearly implies that it is not serious. Rule of thumb: Play the ball, not the person (i.e. tackle the argument, not the person making it).

The USA has made mistakes and I can see why someone could call it terrorism at times, but it is very different than Islamic Terrorism. When caught out doing something questionable in a war zone ,the press and the people demand answers , apologys and fireings to occur. There are great debates on news casts and the government is held up to be seen with all it`s warts showing. Not so with Islamic terrorists. They run highjacked Aircraft killing thousands, blow up trains, use downs syndrome girls to blow up their fellow Muslims, take civilian or military prisoners and without any hesitation chop off heads or torture with impunity. What do they get. Apologists from the left, but yes this is not right ,but it is the USA that blah blah blah!

Reports of Islamic Terrorists atrocitys are always met with stock replys against the free world .

If somehow you or I found ourselves being taken prisoner in the middle east , I can assure you ,it would be a relief to find out you were in the hands of western forces. Now that is a fact!

Terrorism only works when people give up their freedom and way of life because of their fear of terrorism. Only now are we finally beginning to see reason once again prevail after the collective underwear-soiling of 9/11. But I guess there will always be those who continue to see muslim boogeymen at every bus stop, and this must satisfy the terrorists tremendously.

Ever been involved in one? Your opinion might change if a bomb goes off near you. Terrorism is just a sucker punch delivered by those too weak to fight it out in the open. Like getting clubbed on the back of the head with a baseball bat; you tend to take it rather personally.

I don't discount the horror, brutality, and immorality of terrorism, but I recognize the motivation. And people who fill their diapers at the thought of it play into that motivation perfectly.

Then you must hate Canada since we are their friends and allies and major trade partner.

So what are you doing here?

Speaking for myself I don't hate Canada at all, I am often ashamed of what's being done in our name these days, but I am also trying to demonstrate that we're not all the same. It's heartening to know there are Muslims in other countries facing the same uphill struggle, I don't feel so isolated.

What is sad is you dont realize what you wrote , which was ............

...and means you know that they dont soil their pants.

I just asked how many you asked, or knew , in order to post that tidbit.

So how many?

I'm not certain what you mean, but my point was that the purpose of terrorism is to instill terror. Those who willingly will give up their freedoms and way of life at the slightest hint of terror are essentially pawns to terrorism. Al-Qaeda couldn't have come up with a more agreeable Patriot Act if they had written it themselves.

How is the term "Leafless" not unpatriotic when you have said yourself it is a rejection of Canada and a statement that its primary symbol does not apply to you? I don't care about your reasons for this statement. I just want to know how one might defend it as anything but treasonous anti-Canadianism.

Maybe that applies to you dope head, but not I.

Many of my maple leafs (democratic rights) have plucked from my limbs leaving them bare, by a government that undemocratically and unilaterally chooses to racially discriminate against the majority White English speaking Christian in this country with an imposed Charter.

My loyalties though have been alive and well and my spirit kept alive by the actions of our current prime minister who is rekindling patriotism in this country and even publicly acknowledges the existence of our Christian God.

Good job Stephen Harper, keep up the good work!

True patriotism doesn't ebb and flow with changes in government. I love Canada as much under the CPC as I did under the Liberals.

But, I think we can all agree when saying that the winters in Canada suck!

Nature's terrorism...

-----------------------------------

The city's ice jam is now 33 kilometres long, stretching all the way up the Nechako River to the confluence with the Mud River, but experts say the situation is actually improving. Wednesday was the city's 58th day under a local state of emergency, which was declared when the Nechako River was first jammed by the ice and began flooding homes and business along its banks.

Canadian winters have certainly killed more Canadians than terrorism.
