Danielle smith is not the one whining on National tv about getting this project canceled it is not good for BC other projects....that's all EBY...Danielle has been cheering on BC projects...as well as all the rest of the projects...Those on the left in BC just don't like Alberta....and it is not team Canada it is what is best for BC and that's it...if anything else gets in the way we are going to protest that...

The final approval authority is not BC or it's people....it is the feds....if BC and those from BC has the authority those massive BC projects would already be started right....SO yes you all have a say, but the final say is Ottawa....Same as Quebec....if Ottawa wants to jam a pipeline through it can use the not withstanding clause....as Ottawa has threaten Quebec with...This is just another example why Canada does not work...it is a collective of smaller groups that don't get along, and are more concerned with there bubbles than the nation as a whole... And what if the remaining western primers start boycotting all of BC projects....and ties them up ...for no good reason....and once again this entire energy super power thing is a liberal dream, it wont work if premiers are infighting each other, what happened to the team Canada approach....

The emmisions cap does effect production levels....along with pricing...for a guy that hates trump so much you seem to be in favor of Canada selling cheap below market value oil to him, while we could be getting top dollar from other over seas nations...with more pipelines running to BC and to the east...

Your forgetting they have 1000 times the SF operators that we do , it would not take long to track them down and put an end to all of that.... Thats not what NATO and the northern NATO countries are saying or doing, today the top winter warfare units in NATO is the British Marines...and US Army, marines and they are not even artic nations...Right now we have the ability to move troops and some light equipment to the north but can barely operate 20 to 30 kms from those bases....Sh!t not long ago an air force tech got lost on the run way for more than 12 hours in the fog....he was less than 500 meters from the hanger... We are going to build artic bases....which means having a presence in the artic...patrolling via skidoo, UAV, and surveillances aircraft...So we are looking at the problem... We don't train in guerrilla ware fare...we have done counter insurgency, but no insurgency...crap we barely train on high intensity warfare...i can remember a time were we were 8 to 9 months a year in the field....and it produced soldiers that had their sh!t wired tight....today soldiers might get out twice a year, for a month at a time...and the reservist get less than that....Northern op s is a wide open back door...that anyone could force open.... I've seen CV9035 up close and they are what we need for sure, Lynx is a beast of an IFV....weighing in at over 50 tons... it is a lot of machine....That is what is needed in Latvia....LAV's are way to light....New LAVs are beast as well, never seen them up close but stats only...upgraded armor, gun, FCS, and power pact....and with Spike missiles.... Boxer is a piece of kit for sure, we should have purchased that to start with, it offers just that much more than the LAV does...and you can change your high mileage vehs around for lower in the matter of hours by exchanging the enquire back end of the vehicle...a plus if it is battle damaged...or you need one specific type of vehicle like IFV or Air defense variant, or any variant really all in mere hours....One of the variants we do need is Anti tank like you mentioned, as the there is not enough of the TUA LAVs, i think they all went to LDSH, back in the day every Inf bn had 18 TUA on M113...now there is none....minus a few ground mounted TOWs's..... Boxer is also coming out with a Mass UAV launcher for swarms and counter swarms....Germans have pretty much thought about everything they can mount on a boxer... from tank guns / arty guns to mortars, to air defense....

Carney is going to have to show something soon....he is under a lot of clocks, voters and tax payers want to some results....results he promised during the election...Canada does not hold the cards here, the US does, ......and our company's are losing jobs and good paying pay checks...If i was ford I'd be in Europe, trying to get European auto/ truck companies to set up shop in Ontario...in fact I'd be setting up massive trade missions reset our trading partners or at least try...To much in fighting to have a team Canada approach... Your forgetting that tax payers money and jobs are on the table...The longer we wait the more jobs and money is lost...So there is a clock on the table....

They have done this in the past, trying to spark more interest in the troops and public, it is how we ended up with 5 divs the last time....when we only had 1 Mech Infantry brigade per div.......today they are going to put all the current brigades in one div , Combat support in another , and support in another ....it was like that in the back ground of the last div structure, if they "were sent out as one fighting force "all 3 brigades"....they "the other force structures" combat support and support....would form separate Bridges not "divisions" ... what is different is the light inf Bn's meaning 3 RCR, 3 PPCLI and 3 Vandoos, will now form Light Infantry brigade...Not sure what they are going to do for Combat support or support....as right now they don't have any of that...maybe it might be leach off the main brigades Div.... Giving the defense of Canada to the reserves.... Not sure of that concept...if we are going to equip and man them into viable combat units maybe....I mean they already have the task of defending the north....because it requires very little equipment...It would take a lot of investment to have the reserves take over defense of Canada...if we wanted to do it right...which is really not Canada's style... GDL has been lobbying the government pretty hard with their new LAV 7 & 8 with new 30 mm turrets, etc....So i would not be surprised some time in the near future, something about it....Army has got a lot of other priority's it needs to fix first, some of them you already mentioned...I just hope they buy enough for 3 Brigades worth...also mentioned where replacing utility helos, upgrades to Chinooks, and looking for an attack helo...on top of multi layered air defense, drones, anti, anti-drone, tank weapons, ...I like to see some tracked IFV, the list is endless....and that's just the army..

Facial hair is shaved off when deployed or while doing gas training....which there is not much money to do constant gas hut training...PS you can get a tight seal if you use "Vaseline" or so they told the guys with beards...but you would have to be on the short bus if you wanted to take a chance with Nerve gas...CS gas there would be no real issue, but anything else good luck...having facial hair was a gimmick to try and boast recruitment....and it is a failure...along with long hair, sloppy dress and deportment...it is not professional...

This is all being aired across the country the other premiers see it as well, the see BC not being a team player, EBY claims the process is not fair, and yet 2 of the 5 projects are for BC, How could it not be fair......EBY is afraid that if Smiths project needs federal funds it will take away his chances of getting any more funding for his projects....So now he is on this sabotage mission crying on national TV it is not fair....and smith has gone on national tv and supported his projects....and sees EBY response as an attack...the rest of Canada sees it as whining "its not fair" So my question would be why would the PM not want to step in, if this super power thing goes into the dumper what's he got left...even if it was a phone call telling Eby to gear down... This pipeline does have a majority of first nation support, 2 billion dollars can buy a lot of improvement for all first nations communities....that was back in 2016, i could hardly guess what it is today...Lets also remember that we just drove a pipeline through BC, yes it was a struggle , but it proves it can be done...She does care this is the easiest pipeline to get up and running...but don't think it is the last....there are other pipelines the east are vising for, natural gas to Quebec and NB, bitumen to NB , Ontario is looking to relace a pipeline that goes through Michigan which they are trying to close due to environmental concerns...so ya lots of pipelines..... Well thats what trump said while they were at their sit down, and then there is Canadian economy is bleed out and will not be able to keep this up for ever....Trump also mentioned dairy, one of Canada's golden geese....we have given up more concessions for what exactly so far it has been Canada giving up things and the US taking...sorry it does not sound like he knows how to play this guy...and today Carney talks about revieing the keystone pipeline...Not sure how all of this is in Canada's best interest as we still have tariffs, which are punishing our key industries... Soon this will all be putting pressure on Carney to show Canadians something....the budget is coming and it is not going to be good, not sure if we even built any housing from Carneys new plan...yet...all of that and no good news from any of his promises...

Good question....no ethic cleansing is not the answer, but this has been going on since 1948, and i'm sure every attempt at peace has been tried, and failed....have you been to Israel, it is an armed camp, almost everyone is armed, no one is relaxed they can't afford to be , terrorism is a part of their lives...Israel moved completely out of Gaza gave them there own government and instead of building something out of the desert they decided to use their time and funding on terrorism...I was in Gaza in the late 80's it was an oasis, still dangerous for foreigners but very nice... Palestinian keep poking the bear, and now Israel is tired of all of it...now Gaza lays in ruins, Palestinian are now constantly on the move...caught up in a war they wanted....and some how people are surprised by Israelis actions...and some how they support Palestinians who have been doing all the poking...I worked in that region for 2 , 6 month periods....i seen Palestinians in action...

I think the only way to even begin talks with trump is to stroke his huge ego...Carney failed to really do this and is now getting it right.... Carney will agree to what ever it takes to get a deal....as mentioned already that will include dairy...according to trump...so we will wait and see....trump also said Canadians will go home happy so who knows what is going to happen tomorrow...But at least talks are starting once again...
