Ontario employees sent memo about "sensitivity" to Muslims.
Bob replied to Bob's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
I never denigrated all Muslims, although the leftist spin doctor in you thinks he can tell other forum members what I said. There are certainly groups of Muslims (and others) that are incapable of successfully integrating into our society, because they cling to and perpetuate inferior social values and cultures within the framework of freedom that they abuse in our countries. Of course, you continually obfuscate the truth by misrepresenting the statements of those who don't adhere to your suicidal doctrine of political correctness. If I insult Islamists and other desert nomads for their sick values of honour killings and their warped political narratives, I am "anti-Islamic", because people like you are either unable to or refuse to see the difference between Islamists and "ordinary" Muslims. -

Yes, "proof proof proof". The never ending refrain of an oblivious and myopic leftist who is unable to conceptualize anything without a social science Ph.D. with some "study" to illustrate basic concepts and tell him how to think. -

So these imaginary people that are offering pork to Muslims need to be taken aside and discreetly informed by babysitters like yourself not to do so for some reason? Who cares if a person offers a Muslim some pork? These Muslims are so helpless that they need someone like Michael Hardner to pre-emptively inform their non-Muslim co-workers that they shouldn't make such an offer in order to prevent.... what exactly? God, you have such a sick and perverted perspective of society. You want to hold everyone's hand for everything. -

As if any of us are opposed to good immigration. I'm sure most of us want good immigrants. What's a good immigrant? An immigrant who isn't going to be a net liability on the system. In other words, an immigrant with a job and good education. Beyond that, why are we afraid to demand that immigrants to our societies subscribe to our basic values of democracy, free markets, pluralism, and secularism? Why are we importing third-world trash into our country that have nothing to offer us except siting on welfare, committing crimes, and pumping out children? Look at Somalian immigration, as an example, it's been a disaster. Anyone with half a brain could've told you that when it started, seeing these diseased old women wrapped up in cloaks with seven children and no education, let along language skills. If the Somalian has fluent English or French, and has a good education and a job lined up, and isn't dressed up like some desert nomad, then there's no problem. But of course, those aren't the Somalians we tend to bring in. -

I should've been that concise. Although immigration is a somewhat related issue to this broader discussion, it's clear that Michael Hardner, true to form, is trying to destroy yet another thread by blatantly misrepresenting everything that's been said. -

Michael Hardner at his best, engaging is obfuscation as he always does. Did anyone in here make any statements opposing immigration wholesale? Why would we communicate a message of opposition to immigration to politicians if that's not what we're opposed to? It is so typical of a leftist like Michael Hardner to portray the opposition to the social change that this Muslim-memo is indicative of as blanket opposition to immigration. I think it's also quite clear that Michael Hardner is trying to smear some of us as racists and Islamophobes with his rhetoric. I am sure those in here that agree with my perspectives (r some of them) oppose immigration policy as it currently is. There's a big difference between criticizing current immigration policy, and opposing immigration wholesale. Nevermind the fact that this thread isn't really about immigration, although that won't stop Michael Hardner, our leftist "forum facilitator", from trying to destroy the conversation by deflecting it into left field with somewhat relevant tangents. Our perspective is simple. Every should be treated equally. Of course the leftists use terms like "equality" as buzzwords, because what they really want is to give special treatment to particular groups that they are enamored with as they view them as "disadvantaged" groups that need their hugs and kisses in order to integrate into society. The leftist is like the girlfriend that goes from abusive relationship to abusive relationship, constantly looking for another ethnic group or minority to "assist". Apparently Muslims need some "sensitivity" to be extended from the rest of us at the workplace in order to make it through their month-long fast. Better go eat your lunch in the bathroom in order nor to make Muhammad salivate in the lunchroom while he reads Al-Jazeera headlines on his iPhone. Remember folks, if you want everyone to be held to the same standards an be treated equally, you're either bigoted, racist, intolerant, or Islamphobic. Only the enlightened, considerate, compassionate and well-mannered leftist have enough acuity to hide their foods from hungry fasting Muslims who don't want to see food during Ramadan, to hide their disgust with the body odour of hijab and burka draped Muslim women on hot summer days, and be comfortable with extra time off being given for breaks to Muslims who "need" to go pray in the boardroom without paying any sort of rental fee. -

Democracy is certainly disposable if it means the destruction of Jewish statehood. I support a Jewish state over a democratic Israel if there is ever a risk of non-Jewish people changing our demographics. Ideally, I support mass revocation of most non-Jewish voting privileges in Israel and mass expulsions of the Arab/Muslim enemy. If you had 20% of your population that was overwhelmingly anti-democratic, supportive of mass violence to destroy your country, and hardcore Islamic you'd feel the same way. Or perhaps you're comfortable with that in the name of "multiculturalism". Democracy can't survive if it is populated by anti-democratic people. -
Saudi Lawyers threaten lawsuits over "Ethical Oil" ads
Bob replied to Wild Bill's topic in The Rest of the World
There's no hypocrisy whatsoever on our side of the river. I say buy whatever from Saudi Arabia we need. It's not like oil is some sort of luxury we can do without. Now that alternative sources of crude oil are taking up larger and larger portions of the global oil market, however, we're given more options with respect to which oil to consume. If I recall correctly, what you were advocating for was crippling our economies in the name of ethics, as if the people of Saudi Arabia are worth hurting ourselves over. In the current context, people are advocating for a greater portion of our oil demands to be met by non-enemy sources, i.e. Alberta. We want a better alternative where available, in order not to fuel the enemy. I don't care one iota about Saudi Arabian men, women, or children. You want domestic economic destruction in order to appease some sort of perverted sense of ethics in order to promote the "rights" of Saudi Arabian people. Let's just cut off the oil, and...? Well, let's just engage in self-destruction for the sake of leftist self-righteousness. -

Democracy was built by the Jewish people in Israel, not given to us by anyone else. You act as if democratic values in Israel are some random coincidence, like an act of God. -

Yeah, 'cuz it's not like I can be Jewish and Canadian and Israeli and pro-democratic, free markets, and secularism all at the same time right? The only Jewish majority country in the world subscribes to all those values (although not nearly as assertively as it should). Continue pretending that somehow these values belong to a particular group, which excludes Jewish people. -

As any sensible person can see by glancing through this thread, suicidal political correctness and obscene leftism (complete with all of its hypocrisy over exactly which groups to accommodate and which to penalize eternally) is rampant in Canadian society. I hope that more and more incidents like this get more and more publicity, and that more and more Canadians wake up. -
Some "Rabbi" writes for CAIR and implies that Jew enjoy some sort of special equality in America, yet certain other groups (i.e. Muslims) are still victimized by systemic racism. In the ears of American Jews, among the golden words of American history are those of George Washington to a synagogue: “To bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance.” God knows these words have rung false about many different communities in the dark-light-checkered history of our Republic. (Blacks, Mormons, the Irish, the Italians, the Chinese, the Japanese, gay people —— ) There have even been moments in American history when those words seemed not so clearly truthful, about Jews. (See Philip Roth’s amazing alternate-history novel, The Plot Against America, and its roots in real history.) But in this generation, in regard to Jews these seem engraved on American reality – not only in stone, but in glowing beams of light. But in the wake of the Fort Hood murders, it is not so clear that these words apply to American Muslims. Every sizeable Muslim organization in America has condemned those murders, and some have taken proactive steps to aid the families of those killed. These are ethically responsible actions. I wish that Jewish, Christian, Buddhist, and other religious communities could also come forward along with Muslim groups to say truthfully, “In the fabrics of ALL our different traditions are both broad spaces of peaceful and peace-seeking wisdom, and some bloody strands. These we need to address forthrightly and to explicitly reject or reinterpret so they cannot be used to justify violence.” Oh poor Muslims, they're so oppressed in the ultra-Islamophobic society that is America. One wonders why they lines up in the hundreds of thousands to emigrate to the USA....

So just for fun, I did a Google search for this, "Nidal Hasan site:cair.com". There were four results, with the main result stating that the American media was irresponsibly rushing to judgment in the case of Nidal Hasan, trying to smear Islam by associating his motivations with Islamic terrorism. This is the premier Islamic interest advocacy group in the USA. It's the enemy within. CAIR implies that nidal hasan might not have been motivated by jihadist ideology - http://pa.cair.com/news/updates-32/ Major Hasan spent the entire course of residency and subsequent professional life listening to and counseling veterans returning from war in Iraq and Afghanistan at Walter Reed Army Hospital. One can only imagine the impact of this experience on him. Typical amateur-hour leftist psychological assessment, maybe they'll invent a new disease where mental health professionals can suffer from PTSD by nature of their job. Does that mean I can have extensive conversations with veterans and then go on a murder spree and blame it on indirect-PTSD I suffer from by virtue of extensive experiences with veterans?

How Similar are your views to those around you?
Bob replied to Michael Hardner's topic in Political Philosophy
I am far to the right of most people I know and associate with, but that's generally because they cling to several mythologies - that all people are born equal, that all groups/cultures/societies are equal, and that equality of result is something worth striving towards. All of the lies they subscribe to are often predicated on these foundational lies. -
How Similar are your views to those around you?
Bob replied to Michael Hardner's topic in Political Philosophy
Many Canadians I know are afraid to discuss their political views. It's a testament to the success of the indoctrination campaign of political correctness wages against Canadians via schools, mass media, and politicians. Many Canadians walk on eggshells when discussing "touchy" things. It's one of the biggest weaknesses of Canadian political culture, and it will be our undoing if it doesn't change. Of course, the leftist rats and traitors who hate Canada and want to destroy the country typically have no shame in espousing their hatred and historical revisionism. Case in point, most of the "demonstrators" at Parliament Hill today. -

Yeah, yeah... keep using the International Jew code language. It's not like I haven't heard it before. And of course, keep obfuscating the truth about Canada's slow suicide as it continues to import third-world trash. -

Bob replied to Bob's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
The memo doesn't seem to be available, but what we do know is that apparently there was a request for non-Muslim employees to be discreet with their food because of hungry fasting Muslim co-workers for the month-long Ramadan fast. That's pathetic. Moreover, do you think this is the only story of such bullshit in Canada? This is just another in a long list of similar stories along the same theme. Where've you been? Whether it's Islamists trying to censor Ezra Levant's free speech (which perhaps you're in favour of), to designating rooms in public schools for Muslim prayer sessions with an Imam, to this bullshit in the public service with indoctrination classes on "multiculturalism" and "tolerance" (all on the taxpayer's dime). You act as if this is some sort of isolated incident. It's not our fault that you're so ignorant, and we cant walk you through everything and spoonfeed you the details. -

Yeah, how strange it is for someone with dual citizenship to have an opinion on something and be unapologetically patriotic towards both countries. "Furthering the interests of a foreign power", sounds like bullshit from Ford's The International Jew. It reveals a lot about yourself that a Canadian asserting the superiority of Canadian society over inferior societies and cultures is described by you as "racist" and "bigoted". Remember, Islamism and communism are no better or worse than democracy, free markets, and secularism. They're just different ways of arranging things, eh? -

Studies? You are now requesting that I provide studies in order to justify the position that spending taxpayer money on indoctrinating the public service into "multicultural" ideology is waste of time and resources? Yet of course you are able to make the absurd statement of such endeavours being "beneficial to society", and therefore worthwhile of the taxpayer. Why not give everything to the public service that is "beneficial to society"? Give them complementary art history classes and workshops. Give them complementary lifetime memberships at the most expensive fitness clubs. Give them complementary nutrition and addiction services. I love how leftists like you obfuscate and overcomplicate everything, as if simply expecting everyone at work to follow the same expectations is "intolerant" or "disrespectful". Multiculturalism is and will continue to be a disaster, where Canada's national identity becomes more ambiguous and nebulous. We believe in nothing, and we will fall for anything. When it's come to the point that my position of the superiority of Canadian society over most other societies (particularly communist and Islamic/Arabic societies) is now decried as "racist", we can all see how far we've fallen as Canadians. Like I said, I get no pleasure in realizing that with the onset of increasing political correctness and importation of more and more third world trash who bring with them their inferior and barbaric cultures, we're finished as a society. No, we're certainly not all the same. I've known that forever. How about you? Does that mean we should have different expectations of standards for different people? For example, should we give special bonus points to job or university applications from people who are labeled as "disadvantaged" (such as Aboriginals or blacks) in order to "accommodate"? Should we designate rooms in public offices and schools for Muslim prayer sessions (without a rental fee, even)? Should we not bring food into business meetings in the public service because some hungry Muslim feels deprived during their Ramadan fast? Should I tell Fahdi that washing his feet in the common sink is disgusting because I am "sensitive" to his religious practises that I don't give a damn about? Since when am I supposed to respect anybody's religious beliefs, anyways? I don't expect any "respect" from you for any Jewish holidays I observe. And I will make special arrangements for myself for any Jewish holidays I choose to observe, and not expect my co-workers to bring only kosher-for-passover foods or keep a kosher sink for my purposes. Putting on too much perfume at work, or in any public place, is just as ridiculous as a Muslim expecting me not to eat a sandwich in the meeting room because she's hungry during Ramadan. This is an issue of personal responsibility. I'm still waiting for an answer from you folks regarding how many Muslims you're willing to tolerate in Canada. It's an uncomfortable question that leftists either avoid, or answer moronically (i.e. dre, Peter F, Rick, and GostHacked) by stating they're totally comfortable with a Canada composed completely of Muslims. You think it's bad now, it's only going to get worse as we keep importing these people and refuse to place any expectations onto newcomers for meaningful assimilation and avoid assertion of our superior value system. -
And it certainly is a kangaroo court, with no authority to determine anything.

Wyly, you're right - I mistakenly indicated that the USA directly funds the ICC. I noticed that error prior to your correction, last night, as it were. My point remains the same, however, where the USA still picks up the slack of these other nations who choose to fund the ICC in every other dimension. Whether it's Europe and Canada freeloading off of American security expenditures or most of the world freeloading of America's sponsorship of 25% of the UN and all other "international" emergency aid endeavors. It's exactly like the Curb Your Enthusiasm episode, where these countries pay for the ICC only by virtue of America picking up the slack in so many other dimensions. "Oh, I didn't use that ten thousand dollars for the ICC".

Tolerance of intolerance is not an issue here. Nobody is opposed to their religious practises. What we're opposing is that special "accommodations" be made towards them for their needs. They should bend for us, not the other way around. -
Ontario employees sent memo about "sensitivity" to Muslims.
Bob replied to Bob's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
The reason, obviously, is because a Jewish person has a responsibility to himself to make his or her own accommodations where necessary. Certain Muslims, on the other hand, complicit with the suicidal leftists who chant the mantra of "multiculturalism", seem to want everyone else to bend to their will. The question is, where does it stop? Are Muslims going to be cut extra slack on the month of Ramadan because they're always hungry, cranky, and late for work?
