  1. Don't be such a troll. I gave you my answer. You even quoted it.
  2. True. Besides that, it's not a bad idea to deviate from the source material in general. Whatever the movie/TV show, if it's 100% faithful to the book, there's no suspense, no mystery. It's one of the reasons I like it that The Walking Dead strays so far from the comics -- I already know how those stories play out, I never know what's going to happen on the TV show.
  3. I already answered that in post #211 of this thread.
  4. A lot of what they have already credited to Stark in the movies was originally done by Pym.
  5. Bullshit. Fair dealings, that gives you EXACTLY those rights, is already part of Canada's copyright laws.
  6. Wow. They sure are messing with the time line. Starting with Scott Lang as Ant-Man? Introducing Pym as already old, and just a mentor rather than the bona fide superhero that he was? Crazy.
  7. I was a huge fan of the Ultron storylines in the Avengers comics in the late 70's. It still confuses me that we are this far into the "Marvel Universe" movie franchise and there's still no Hank Pym. He and his wife were founding members of the Avengers, and he was the one who built Ultron, but we're getting a movie based on Ultron before the character is even introduced??? Especially considering we already have seen a lot of screen presence from characters that are/were far of far less importance to the Avengers than Pym was, I'm just not sure what the logic is, and how they're going to square that circle if/when he finally is introduced.
  8. I find it to be very entertaining!
  9. We need to identify these mosques that support and or foster extremism, and treat them as criminal organizations like is sometimes done for the mafia or biker gangs -- just being known to associate with them is a crime all by itself, so they are subject to arrest at any time for no probable cause for any other criminal act.
  10. It really depends on where you're going. I know a lot of people who paid less than half of what Westjet was charging. It seems the trick with flying is sticking with whatever is in the deals, instead of going where you actually WANT to go.
  11. Does this writing style sound familiar to anyone here?
  12. How do you get your groceries? How do you do banking? See a doctor? Buy your clothes?
  13. People here in Winnipeg do that a LOT. Flights from North Dakota are often so much cheaper that it's more than worth it to drive down and fly from there. But, much like the article, you wouldn't do much international flights out of Grand Forks or Fargo. North Dakotans who want to go to Cuba will come to Winnipeg.
  14. LOL!!! They rarely do much else!
  15. I've got no issue with mandatory ID, but the card doesn't mean much unless you can verify it to the uncovered face.
  16. I can't answer why, but it certainly does appear to happen pretty regularly.
  17. What I find funny is in this very thread, we see some of our left-leaning posters behaving is pretty much the same way the Pew Survey says they do.
  18. I've never heard anyone claim that the Levada Centre (which did the polling in the linked article) is anything but fully independent. Have you heard otherwise?
  19. She's trying to bait you into calling her out on her bullshit, for the express purpose of claiming that she is a victim of your misongyny.
  20. It isn't extending fair use and free speech only to political parties, candidates, and politicians. We all already have those same rights of fair dealings. The media conglomerate is colluding to try to do an end run around the law to try to specifically revoke those rights from political parties, so the government is considering amending the law to specifically address this.
  21. What I hear you saying is there are lots of opportunities for private enterprise to fill in the gaps for those with specific needs.
