No useful information TO YOU. It is useful to other people. -

The "May Contain" boilerplate is a cop-out. All it does is guarantee that the food won't be allowed somewhere. Either you put that ingredient in, or you didn't. If you can't guarantee me what's in your product, you should not be selling food for human consumption. If labelling would put you out of business, you SHOULD be out of business. -

Lots of people have sensitivities to a lot of things when they're young. Regular exposure gets their bodies used to these things until for most people they are no longer a problem. No exposure, and the sensitivity gets stronger. Add to that, a growing number of over-diagnosis where the kids are NOT allergic, but believe they are because the Dr. said so without proper testing. I know several parents whose naturopaths told them their kids were allergic to all manner of things through a hair sample test. -
Treating poverty works like medicine, doctors say

Whatever the bottom is, will always be described as "abject poverty" compared to the wealthy. -

That's kind of my point. The more the bottom earners make, the higher all other wages and prices get, and they're still on the bottom. The only thing that works is getting out of the bottom. -

The ban on peanut butter at schools and daycares is biggest culprit. -

Do you consider the AAAS to be a credible source? Given their stance on AGW, I sure don't. -

Poverty is subjective. Minimum wage is almost four times what it was when I was earning it. Just adding money clearly didn't solve the problem. -

You have not offered any compelling reason not to. People have a right to know what is put in their food. You can't make an informed choice if you aren't given the information. -

If it's too much for you to keep track of what your putting in my food, you have no business making it. People absolutely should have a right to know if their food is GMO. Saying you should pay extra and get certified organic is like saying you should pay extra to get an ingredient list. No one is looking to force the manufacturers to use a certain list of ingredients here, just tell us what you are using and let us make an informed choice. Me, I'd probably still eat it. GMO has done a lot of good. It saves millions of lives. -
Prove that they did. It's not as if Warren Kinsella's word is worth anything.

I like that video. Truth.

CTV's Robert Fife and his Source/Sources

We don't even know that for sure. There are links in the Duffy thread that say it's being held in trust by his lawyer as collateral on the RBC loan that he paid the debt off with. -
Have you ever used the digital tools available for photo and video manipulation? In many ways, doctoring a video is easier because the tools are really advanced. A lot of the masking and pixel cleanup is done automatically on the fly, you don't even have to know how to do it properly the way you would in Photoshop. There are loads of free tutorials online. It would take a very short time to learn to do something as simple as merge two videos of similar looking individuals. I'm not saying is IS fake, I'm just saying faking it in such a way that NO ONE could tell, is very easy. Show me an "expert" who says he can always tell, and I'll show you someone who doesn't know enough to know what he doesn't know.

I suspect you are correct. It seems to me that those who are fans of The Star would welcome any attack on those on the right, even if they knew right from the outset that the narrative was complete fiction. As long as it makes conservatives look bad, then the ends justify the means.

Unless and until the video shows up, there's no reason for him to answer anymore questions about it. If he's lying, we'll find out soon enough.

I don't think that's what's going on at all. (some) people are getting angry at journos who claim absolute fact when they don't know what the truth is, and can't be bothered to actually confirm the important parts of the narrative they're trying to paint. -
Define freely. I fly United Airlines out of Canada regularly. I use a foreign bank and a foreign financial services company that operate in Canada. At least one of our "Canadian" cell phone companies is foreign owned.

Fife doesn't have the best track record when it comes to his "confidential inside sources". There have been several stories in recent years where he supposedly broke a story, only to have to correct it shortly after when the real facts came out. He either like to make stuff up, or he needs new sources. -
And he did exactly what he promised in that ad: http://www.tbs-sct.gc.ca/faa-lfi/index-eng.asp

Same here. Very few "old white people" working on the CPC campaigns I've been involved in.
