  1. Except one party had their cameras rolling at the time. Like, no one ever expects that from the media. But still, its tough when your hero is videotaped being a baby buffoon. I hear your pain Boges...
  2. Toronto mayor had no time for This Hour Has 22 minutes So, it wasn't dark and... was his kid even there? But he didn't know who she was... Yeah, come on Mayor Ford. A big husky football coach, running away from a 60 year old woman in a halloween costume? It's not like she was throwing cats...
  3. Sounds like you are an advocate men for beating women. She threatened him with a sword?? So you'd hit her. Right?
  4. And Dragons Den. And The Nature of Things, Mercer Report. And This Hour Has 22 Minutes.
  5. I just the saw the video, it was light out. I didn't hear any child crying, was that her in the window at about :06?
  6. Dammit! You saw the video first! Where? On YouTube? Is the raw footage on YouTube?
  7. Ha! That's nothing! I didn't hire 100 more cops for my front yard, I saved millions! And millions more in administrative costs, uniforms, guns. Plus, the police union won't get any larger. In fact, what I have done is nothing short of heroic.
  8. Well that simply isn't true Boges. You care. And that should count for a lot.
  9. Really? Is trying to speak to and for all Canadians not something that cannot be done subjectively? How would you know? You have already admitted that you don't know what "shared national consciousness and identity" means, so I excuse me if I don't accept that you know what "Canadian culture" is.
  10. That's right, my apologies. I keep forgetting about the "puzzle pieces" and how they relate to your tinfoil hat.
  11. Is English your second language? Kinda thought so. No worries. Go here: http://www.merriam-webster.com/
  12. What do you mean "too?" I never called anyone a "pussy" get your posters straight. However, if he tried to drive away and then retreated back into the house, shrinking and trembling in fear from the terrible scourge of the Marg Delahunty, that would be something to see. And if he was all a-trembling, then he really didn't put a face of bravery on for his daughter now did he? Can't wait for the footage.
  13. Beats the alternative!
  14. Well, since you don't know what "shared national consciousness and identity" means, I'll assume that you don't know if I am joking or not.
  15. Yeah, he really stuck it to them alright. Not only free publicity, but we can see the Mayor and shiver and shrink from the mighty Marg because, no doubt, the cameras were rolling all the time. The CBC can expect increased ratings for that show in the Toronto market that's for sure. I can't wait. I hope they post it on YouTube first.
  16. Absolutely! Especially the "mayor's home" thing, which is hilariously and so typically Canadian. So are on-the-street interviews, so you be wary when you walk to the store to get your milk Boges. You never know when Rick Mercer ambushes you with a deadly microphone and smile. Coronation Street - a reminder of our British heritage; Jeopardy - Alex Trebek is Canadian; Wheel of Fortune - a discourse in our collective unconciousness toward the glittering empire to the south. Sure I can. The formerly named don't have the same mandate or accountability rules the CBC has. If SunTV were to change their mandate to mirror that of the CBC, then I might consider them as looking out for our best interests. But I'd only consider it for a moment because SunTV would do practically anything to sucker in more viewers.
  17. All those frightened right-wingers, cowering under their blankies, afraid of being found out. LOL. Whatever happened to 'no such thing as bad publicity?'
  18. Yes, he was so harrassed that he got in his car and tried to drive away first, even with a frightened kid in tow. Then he went back into his house to call 911. You know, because of that big, scary woman in the red leather viking dress with the microphone. Such a terrible thing! Run for the hills! The Big Bad CBC is here to do some comedy. Well, at least it wasn't Rick Mercer, eh? TMZ never does shit this good.
  19. And the CBC is accountable for taxpayer's money. Is Quebecor? No you say? Pity. However, I can understand that you would know what "shared national consciousness and identity" means. That is pretty evident.
  20. I suppose when you live in fear, and fear is around very corner and falling from the sky, being ambushed by "the press" outside your home could be disconcerting. Especially when you see a woman dressed in a red leather viking outfit, with a microphone. I doubt I would have called 911. But if I did, I would have stuck around until the police arrived. At least. Mayor Ford calls 911 on CBC comedians I would hate to think who Mayor Ford calls on Halloween.
  21. The Federal Accountability Act and Access to Information and Privacy Acts don't apply to Quebecor. So we don't know about all the lying, fraudulent, deceiving crap that is going on with them. Well, unless you turn on SunTV.
  22. "Something" already did happen, a letter outlining an arrangement was sent to the GG. You even admit it. If you want to mentally masturbate with alter-history, that is your concern.
  23. What is uglier is painting a general picture based on a news story of something specific. By your reasoning we should run from the police because they beat up people half their size on a regular basis and even murder some. Oh, and they are unionized too.
