It's what you do and not what you think. This is not the first time you've elected to lie and I'm sure not the last. Keep denying it like it's not right there for everyone to see. Keep trying to pretend what he has said is not being practiced. He has followed through everything he has mentioned in the video. 1 - He did push the Oslo Accord aside. He did it while he was Prime Minister. It didn't happen 10 years later. 2 - With AIPAC's control over the house and the Israeli propaganda machine at high gear, the Israeli government has been able to dupe the American people. This is why the rest of the world, including in Europe do not support Israel's violations of international law. Because the Israeli Hasbara does not have as much strength in Europe. Also, Europeans in general are a lot more aware and informed of what is going on around the world. Americans have been, as Bibi put it, easily moved. This is another case where you are taking some comment from an article and pretending that it cancels out everything else. You are a dishonest person who has no ounce of integrity.
-
You are lying. You thought it was me. You quoted the statement and responded to the statement thinking it was me. Yes. Nice attempt at covering. You continue to embarrass yourself. You mean we have talked about Bibi's candid comments about how easy it is to manipulate the Americans and how he undercut the peace process during the time he was prime minister? Show me where. This doesn't make a difference to what he has said and what he has done. Why don't you practice the honest poster character you try to sell yourself as? Because you failed big time with your embarrassing display in this thread.

Here is more of the propaganda from the Jew hating Washington Post: "I know what America is," Netanyahu told a group of terror victims, apparently not knowing his words were being recorded. "America is a thing you can move very easily, move it in the right direction. They won't get in their way." Netanyahu also bragged how he undercut the peace process when he was prime minister during the Clinton administration. "They asked me before the election if I'd honor [the Oslo accords]," he said. "I said I would, but ... I'm going to interpret the accords in such a way that would allow me to put an end to this galloping forward to the '67 borders. How did we do it? Nobody said what defined military zones were. Defined military zones are security zones; as far as I'm concerned, the entire Jordan Valley is a defined military zone. Go argue." Here you go Bonam. Now I guess you have to shift your strategy from trying to discredit the source to justifying what Bibi is really about. I'm sure you won't surprise anyone and will not acknowledge Bibi's alarming comments about his and the Israeli government's true method and agenda.

Sure. Mondoweiss Mondoweiss is a news website devoted to covering American foreign policy in the Middle East, chiefly from a progressive Jewish perspective. It's a site run by more self-hating Jews. They seem to be growing in numbers, eh?

Does Natanyahu have a clue? Because I bolded his comment. Netanyahu: Especially today, with America. I know what America is. America is something that can easily be moved. This thread is worth a read if you're going to respond to it.

I know what America is. America is something that can easily be moved. I guess it's your right to be okay with being easily manipulated by another country. Maybe your loyalty is with the wrong country.

The Israel propaganda machine (Hasbara) has two faces. One is for the public in western countries and one for Israelis. In 2001, Bibi was filmed making comments he would not make in public. Certainly something he would not want Americans to hear. Here is a candid video of his chat with some settlers and part of the transcript below giving us an insight into what he really thinks: Woman: wait a moment, but then the world will say “how come you’re conquering again?” Netanyahu: the world won’t say a thing. The world will say we’re defending. Woman: Aren’t you afraid of the world, Bibi? Netanyahu: Especially today, with America. I know what America is. America is something that can easily be moved. Moved to the right correction. Netanyahu: What were the Oslo Accords? The Oslo Accords, which the Knesset signed, I was asked, before the elections: “Will you act according to them?” and I answered: “yes, subject to mutuality and limiting the retreats.” “But how do you intend to limit the retreats?” “I’ll give such interpretation to the Accords that will make it possible for me to stop this galloping to the ’67 [armistice] lines. How did we do it? Narrator: The Oslo Accords stated at the time that Israel would gradually hand over territories to the Palestinians in three different pulses, unless the territories in question had settlements or military sites. This is where Netanyahu found a loophole. Netanyahu: No one said what defined military sites. Defined military sites, I said, were security zones. As far as I’m concerned, the Jordan Valley is a defined military site. Woman: Right [laughs]. The Beit She’an settlements. The Beit She’an Valley.

Israel bows to pressure and agrees to ease Gaza blockade

Is the Canadian government not responding to Canada's supreme court like Israel is not to its supreme court? So are you saying what Hamas has done in the past (suicide attacks) and what it has done recently (rocket launches) cannot be said to be against international law? By the way, the security council has confronted Israel about some of its many violation of international law. Even the International Criminal Court has said that Israel has violated international law. -
If they can throw people in jail for questioning the holocaust, I'm sure they're capable of throwing people in jail for questioning climate change. But then again, Scriblett is getting her information from BNP.

There is at least one very big difference: Canada does not violate international and domestic laws. -

Speaking of fascist governments: The Israeli government is facing legal action for contempt over its refusal to implement a Supreme Court ruling that it end a policy of awarding preferential budgets to Jewish communities, including settlements, rather than much poorer Palestinian Arab towns and villages inside Israel. It's usually them who have a contempt for both international and domestic law. Similarly, in May, the court found that the government had continued construction on a road between the settlements of Eli and Hayovel despite a ruling that it must stop. In a harshly worded response, the judges said: “It is inconceivable that the state does not know what is unfolding right beneath its nose.” How many more times does the Israeli government have to go against both international law and domestic law until you accept that you're giving your full support to a fascist government? Last month the Supreme Court again castigated the government for ignoring an order from last year to demolish a sewage purification plant built in the West Bank settlement of Ofra on privately owned Palestinian land in violation of Israeli law. You know what fascism is? Here, lets go through the characteristics of a fascist government: Fascists believe that a nation is an organic community that requires strong leadership, singular collective identity, and the will and ability to commit violence and wage war in order to keep the nation strong. check! They claim that culture is created by the collective national society and its state, that cultural ideas are what give individuals identity, and thus they reject individualism. check! Viewing the nation as an integrated collective community, they see pluralism as a dysfunctional aspect of society, and justify a totalitarian state as a means to represent the nation in its entirety. check! They advocate the creation of a single-party state. check! Fascists reject and resist the autonomy of cultural or ethnic groups who are not considered part of the fascists' nation and who refuse to assimilate or are unable to be assimilated. check! They consider attempts to create such autonomy as an affront and a threat to the nation. check! Fascist governments forbid and suppress opposition to the fascist state and the fascist movement. check! They identify violence and war as actions that create national regeneration, spirit and vitality. check! Other prominent cases in which officials are defying court rulings involve the refusal to demolish a synagogue built by settlers; the failure to build hundreds of classrooms for Palestinian children in East Jerusalem; and the continuing practice of “binding” foreign workers to a single employer. Israel (and the Palestinians) are governed by mafia gangs. One of them is supported and kept in power by our governments in the West. -
Israel to demolish more Palestinian homes

The link shows hardly any rockets between July to November, and none from Hamas, meaning that the truce was working. Hamas started firing the rockets after Israel broke the truce. -
Facts on the ground cannot be denied

How about instead of apologizing for this inhumane blockade, try condemning it. Build with rocks in the ground? This is how desperate and how silly you're argument has become. -

naomiglover replied to naomiglover's topic in The Rest of the World
During the truce and before Israel broke the truce, the number of rockets fired were very low and none came from Hamas. This is a fact that you need to deal with if you want to continue debating the subject. -

Make some food with what? 40% of the farm land is under the buffer zone. You step on this farm land and you get killed. Much like the mother who went looking for her grade schooler and got shot and killed on her farm and Israel's buffer zone. Do you know how much how much livestock was destroyed by Israeli forces? Factories to produce food were also damaged. How will they build houses when Israel is not allowing building material in? -
This is what people like jbg, Dancer, Bonam and others are trying to justify

Israel to demolish more Palestinian homes
naomiglover replied to naomiglover's topic in The Rest of the World
No. It wasn't many. The numbers were very low and were fired by fringe militant groups who learned how to make homemade rockets that did not kill anyone. But I'm sure after you look at how low the numbers were and how most either fell in Gaza or in open field and how no Israelis were killed, you will still comeback and say Israel's attack was justified. Why? Because you're not interested in being honest and only want to find any excuse to justify Israel's attack. Here are the numbers: Wikipedia -

Suicide attacks have been down since well before the blockade. The rockets were already down. In fact, Hamas did not shoot one rocket until Israel broke the truce. -

Gee. You're so clever. You have no ounce of critical thinking left. You have nothing useful to add. All you've become is a trigger boy who will call anyone who criticizes Israel or our governments' support for a country that violates international law a terrorists. I will take the recommendation from others and put you on ignore. -

Those will continue to flow in through the tunnels. Another sign that the blockade is not doing what Israel wants the world to believe what it's doing. -

The occupation remains. Gaza has been turned into an open air prison, complete with a 200m buffer zone. Over 40% of Gaza's farmland is inside the buffer zone. Anyone who enters this buffer zone risks getting killed. Just ask the family of the woman who was killed yesterday as she went out looking for her little boy. Gazans cannot move anything out and cannot move anything into Gaza. They're unable to have any type of economy because most of what they had was destroyed when Gaza was attacked. Factories and plants are mostly either totally gone or they're damaged. Israel has no problem keeping the place that way. Removing the 7000 settlers from Gaza and planting them into the West Bank has done nothing. The only reason they were removed was because they were costing Israel too much to keep secure. -
So I finally had a chance to watch the whole documentary, beyond what is posted above. It's interesting how Mr. Shamir was able to get such a candid look into what Abe Foxman does. His interview with Norm Finkelstein was also quite sobering. Anyone interested in getting an inside perspective and angle into the industry of anti-semitism, this documentary will definitely answer a lot of questions.
