  1. I am surprised at your outrage Bonam. You are outraged at 1.5 million people, who have been purposely held in an open air prison, on a land the size of Montreal You're outraged because their buildings have been purposely damaged or demolished and then purposely prevented from being able to be fixed the buildings by cutting any type of movement of material and tools. You're outraged that they can't fix their sewage system that was hit by bombs and missiles which need parts that must be ordered from outside of Gaza. You're outraged at the farmers that can't revive their livestock and chicken after the Israeli army destroyed them. You're outraged at the farmers for not being able to plant enough food, because 40% of their farms are in the bufferzone near the border. As a mother's children found out, Israel will not hesitate to kill anyone who enters this bufferzone. Yet, you're not outraged by anything Israel has done to purposely create this situation.
  2. This is a another example of Israel's racist mindset. I'll be waiting for another post by the usual like Bonam, jbg or American Woman with their: "but they stone women to death". As if anyone here supports that or somehow a more despicable behaviour excuses a lesser one.
  3. How come you never ask Israel to make peace and follow international law? For example: giving Palestinians their land and removing the illegal settlements? Why do you give a pass to Israel?
  4. The current Prime Minister of Israel has stated that he believes Americans are easily manipulated. That they won't get in the way of the agenda. He has been right, to a certain point. A large number of American people including their representatives continue to be manipulated by the Israeli propaganda machine, better known as the Hasbara. Something you're part of. However, at the same time, the number of Americans seeking justice and peace in the middle east are increasing in numbers. Another point that you avoid commenting on is that Bibi has bragged about undercutting the Oslo Accords during his first term as PM and during the Clinton presidency. It's not just an opinion but something he has bragged to have done.
  5. I'm sure you're proud to be an Israeli. Please share a link to this law in the UK and any actual convictions under this law. So far you have not been able to provide any examples.
  6. You also used the other example: Rape 'by Deception' May Become A Crime In Massachusetts It was pointed out to you that it has not become a crime since the article was published 2.5 years ago. You have 0 credibility.
  7. You have already tried using that case by providing the following link: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/wales/6611735.stm Then I pointed out to you that the judge had thrown the case out: A Syrian born airline pilot accused of raping a schoolteacher from Haverfordwest by deception has walked free from court after the judge suddenly halted the trial. Judge Christopher Morton said Fadi Sbano, 38, should not face a retrial. Link You either: 1) Don't read the articles you link to 2) Lie by assuming that no one will look into your articles From your history, any of the two above is a possibility.
  8. Israeli Woman's comment that "according to legal experts.." is another deceitful attempt at giving her opinions credibility. She tried, but failed in showing an example of what we have seen happen in Israel in regards to an Arab man being convicted of rape for saying he was Jewish, in North America and UK. The best she could find was a law that never came to be in the U.S., and a case in the U.K. where the judge threw out the case since there is no "rape by deception" law.
  9. Gideon Levy from Haaretz has written a piece on this racist conviction: He impersonated a human Sabbar Kashur wanted to be a person, a person like everybody else. But as luck would have it, he was born Palestinian. Sabbar Kashur wanted to be a person, a person like everybody else. But as luck would have it, he was born Palestinian. It happens. His chances of being accepted as a human being in Israel are nil. Married and a father of two, he wanted to work in Jerusalem, his city, and maybe also have an affair or a quickie on the side. That happens too. He knew that he had no chance with the Jews, so he adopted another name for himself, Dudu. He didn't have curly hair, but he went by Dudu just the same. That's how everyone knew him. That's how you know a few other Arabs too: the car-wash guy you call Rafi, the stairwell cleaner who goes by Yossi, the supermarket deliveryman you know as Moshe. No longer a youth, Sabbar/Dudu worked as a deliveryman for a lawyer's office, rode his scooter around Jerusalem and delivered documents, affidavits and sworn testimonies, swearing to everyone that he was Dudu. Two years ago he met a woman by chance. Nice to meet you, my name is Dudu. He claims that she came on to him, but let's leave the details aside. Soon enough they went where they went and what happened happened, all by consent of the parties concerned. One fine day, a month and a half after an afternoon quickie, he was summoned to the police on suspicion of rape. His temporary lover discovered that her Dudu wasn't a Dudu after all, that the Jew is (gasp! ) an Arab, and so she filed a complaint against the impostor. Her body was violated by an Arab. From then on Kashur was placed under house arrest for two years, an electronic cuff on his ankle. This week his sentence was pronounced: 18 months in jail. Judge Zvi Segal waxed dramatic to the point of absurdity: "It is incumbent on the court to protect the public interest from sophisticated, smooth, sweet-talking offenders who can mislead naive victims into paying an unbearable price: the sanctity of their bodies and souls." Sophisticated offenders? It is doubtful that Dudu even knew he was one. Sweet talk? He says that even his wife calls him Dudu. The court relied, as usual, on precedents: the man who posed as a senior Housing Ministry official and promised his lover an apartment and an increased National Insurance pension, and the man who posed as a wealthy neurosurgeon who promised free medical care and other perks. Dudu had nothing to offer but his good name, Dudu, and still his fate was sealed, just like those who promise apartments and perks. Not only fraud, but rape, almost like the convicted serial rapist Benny Sela. Supreme Court Justice Elyakim Rubinstein had, after all, defined the test of conviction for rape on "false pretenses": "if in the view of an ordinary person this woman would have agreed to have sexual relations with a man who did not have the identity he invented." In tune with the public, Kashur's judges assumed, rightly, that the woman would not have gotten into bed with Dudu were it not for the identity he invented. She also might not have gotten into bed with him if he had told her in vain that he was available, that he was younger than he really is or even that he is madly in love with her. But people are not prosecuted for that, certainly not on rape charges. Now the respected judges have to be asked: If the man was really Dudu posing as Sabbar, a Jew pretending to be an Arab so he could sleep with an Arab woman, would he then be convicted of rape? And do the eminent judges understand the social and racist meaning of their florid verdict? Don't they realize that their verdict has the uncomfortable smell of racial purity, of "don't touch our daughters"? That it expresses the yearning of the extensive segments of society that would like to ban sexual relations between Arabs and Jews? It was no coincidence that this verdict attracted the attention of foreign correspondents in Israel, temporary visitors who see every blemish. Yes, in German or Afrikaans this disgraceful verdict would have sounded much worse. Haaretz
  10. I have plenty of blame for Muslim theocracies, but so many people act like Israel is some shining beacon of liberty rather than a bigoted and abusive theocracy.
  11. This conviction is a perfect example of racism. This part had me and my partner laughing: "If she hadn't thought the accused was a Jewish bachelor interested in a serious romantic relationship, she would not have co-operated," Mrs Segal said as she delivered her verdict. Because if you meet a guy in the street and invite him up to your room for sex, he obviously is "interested in a serious romantic relationship".
  12. There is too much of a grey area involved in this. This is why it has not become law in North America and Europe.
  13. So Bibi "bragged how he undercut the peace process (Oslo Accords) when he was prime minister during the Clinton administration. and he also admits that the American people are easily manipulated. These are coming from his own mouth, yet you guys are still not willing to accept it and instead trying to derail the topic. You've taken dishonesty to a new level.
  14. You are mocking yourself and your credibility for posting something that has not become law as an example of a law in Israel. You are ridiculous. Uhm. He was never convicted because the judge threw the trial out. There is no such law in the UK. Haha? He was never convicted because there is no such crime. You posted two supposed examples and you came out scoring 0 points. One has not become law and the other, he was never convicted, because there is no such law. Want to try again?
  15. Could it be because the country he chose over Canada, no longer wants him? I don't think he has many options.
  16. Here is more information about the specific law from Al Jazeera: 'Deceit' The Israeli criminal code mentions "deceit" as a possible aggravating factor in sexual assault cases and the verdict in Kashur's case is not the first time an Israeli court has sentenced a man for "rape by deception," according to several Israeli lawyers. The most notable case was in 2008, when Israel's high court of justice upheld the conviction of Zvi Sleiman, a man who impersonated a housing ministry official and promised women apartments and benefits in exchange for sex. A rape conviction sentence could be upheld, the court ruled, when "a person lies does not tell the truth regarding critical matters to a reasonable woman". Several other men have been convicted of "rape by deception" since that ruling. But the Kashur case appears to be the first time a person's race has been used as the determining factor. "In this case, the ruling seems to say that if a 'reasonable' Jewish woman knew a man was an Arab, then she would not make love to him," Abeer Baker, an attorney with Adalah, an organisation that advocates for Arab rights in Israel, said. Baker called it a "dangerous precedent," saying it would allow the Israeli government to interfere in the private lives of citizens. "It's interfering in a very intimate, personal decision," she said. "That should be made between two people. The court should not interfere."
  17. Heh - Nice. "Could become". Great example. Bravo for finding an article from 2008 and something that never became law. He was never charged in the UK. Are you lying or did you not read again? I can't tell, because you do both quite often. From your own article: An airline pilot accused of raping a teacher from Pembrokeshire by deception has walked free after the judge at Swansea halted the trial.
  18. Riiight. At least your consistent. You'll never shy away from filling out another post with your typical dishonesty and emoticons.
  19. You bring up an interesting point. Does Israel have a 'rape by deception' law? If it does, then a lot of men would become guilty. This woman had sex with a guy who introduced himself as "Jewish", seeking "a serious relationship". The same night they had sex at "a nearby building". So this man was charged for lying about being Jewish, but not because he said he was seeking a serious relationship? This is all a little too much to digest but roll out the justifications. I've asked before and you have failed each time to provide examples. Are you going to give examples or are you going to continue to accuse without showing proof of your accusations?
  20. You think if a Muslim man had consensual sex with Jewish woman in North America and lied about being Jewish, he would be charged with rape? Good for you Shady for coming in here and setting the bar really high for Israel.
  21. Hey. You're free to want to support another country's best interest over America's.
  22. Women in Somalia forced by hardliners to shake their breasts Go away. Thanks in advance. We already know about the many backwards practices in some Muslim countries. I don't see anyone trying to justify them here. So there is no need for me to point them out. However, there are many here who will go to any length (like you lying) to try to justify Israel's discriminatory practices, both domestically and internationally.
  23. I'm torn. I can't deny the slight satisfaction I feel whenever I highlight what a dishonest person you are and when you're unable to directly respond to facts because you can't justify lies. However, at the same time, I feel like I need to take a shower after witnessing your filthy and dishonest behaviour on here. You should take a note from Bonam and go away from the thread for a bit, instead of digging a deeper hole. He won't admit that he was wrong to try to discredit the source, so he's elected to go away for a bit in the hopes that he's not once again shown to be an Israeli apologist.
  24. A Palestinian man has been convicted of rape after having consensual sex with a woman who had believed him to be a fellow Jew. When she later found out that he was not Jewish but an Arab, she filed a criminal complaint for rape and indecent assault. This is utterly ridiculous. It sounds like some backwards discriminatory ruling practiced in some Muslim countries. Israel is digressing and becoming more and more fanatical. Dan Meridor, a deputy prime minister in Binyamin Netanyahu's government, is opposed to the proposal. "Why does every bill need the word 'Jewish' in it – to show the Arab citizens that it doesn't belong to them? Then we're all shocked when they radicalise their stance. "The majority doesn't need to remind the minority that it is in fact a minority all the time," he added. The Guardian
