Why Harper & Duceppe are doing good for Canada
Bro replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Problem is,the press,or[ liberal communication network as it is now],might not report it in the same manner. They[the liberal party and press] believe their corruption is not the problem, but that anyone who objects to it is the problem.Only in a liberal Canada,eh! -
Let us not forget the great words of the now independant, liberal supporting parrish, carolyn I think is her first name,it had some very uncaring words about the cancer stricken mp's ,with her labeling them as timmy's.This woman is a blight on all Canadians, and should be thrown out of office at the earliest possible date, another reason for the opposition to force an election sooner rather than later.

Since you obviously have no idea what I am 'really saying', you would appear less foolish if you did not pretend that you do. It's all about perception, that the liberals are more apt to govern properly.Yes,only a fool would not see this now!Call me foolish, but I will park my vote elsewhere, and the NDP just lost their chance by sleeping with them,so it will be one of two other parties. As if there ever was a doubt!

Layton's NDP ready to take on Bloc in Que
Bro replied to bigdude's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Read a little further, your great leader is also promoting the idea of a "quebec nation "within federalism, how does this solve any problems ? Seems to me the list of demands from quebec will continue to grow at the expense of the other "non nation" provinces. -
LOL,this leaves out all the current scandals of course. So what you are really saying is,they can screw the average canadian and only the elites such as yourself will notice that and approve their actions anyway by voting for them again. Keep corruption in government, vote the Liberal party in.

Canada the worlds next failed state?
Bro replied to BQSupporter's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
LOL,Quebec will be the first land mass to become part of the USA. They will allow your distinct society,as long as you communicate in English.Try to make your new country bilingual, good luck on that one.LOL,like the saying goes, you don't miss a good thing till it's gone, that's when you will realize how good Canada and the English people[ were] to you. -
How many average Canadians{the taxpayers},has the new constitiution helped? Please leave the liberal affiliated lawyers out of your numbers, because we all know they are the biggest group to benefit from the new constitution.
-
to imt, you leave me speechless. You are so obviously misinformed or uneducated about what is evolving in this country, that your right to vote in this country should be at question.
-
You are correct in stating they are better at politics, but that said, being able to govern for what is best for Canadians is not the same. Politics is about keeping power, the liberals only game, but governing is a whole other issue. LOL,what is a wigger, and I already said the people are not stupid, perhaps grossly uninformed.

Maybe it is that simple, doesn't say much about the intelligence of the electorate though.

Mike Harris Why Did He Get Voted Out
Bro replied to CAGERATTLER's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
In what election did Mike Harris get voted out? My memory is not perfect, but I can't remember ever hearing about him losing an election. -
I've often wondered how this has been possible for so long.Maybe, I thought, my fellow Canadians are just not very intelligent, but I keep hearing how superior we are compared to other nations, especially the US. So here are some reasons why maybe folks support the liberals, even though the greatest scandal in our history shows the liberals very much at the controls. Arrogance of the upper middle class income group, perhaps. Apathy by the middle class, the most heavily taxed group, perhaps. And finally fear by the lower income classes, instilled in them by the liberals.Perhaps.

I constantly hear about this great umbrella that keeps Canada together, where we all fit under and all is well within country. The last time I felt all was well in this great country was in 1967.The great umbrella only keeps the those bought off by the liberals since 1968 dry, fuzzy and warm .In my opinion,if you are a general hard working taxpayer, there is little room for you under the magical umbrella.
-
Before the next election, could a liberal supporter please explain all the hidden agendas the Conservatives have in store for us. Please leave out healthcare, because that is a problem that needs discussion, and they are the only party so far willing to admit the system needs repair.
-
Not very likely. My sense on the matter is that quebec leaving confederation on a liberal watch is something that should never happen, and true to form, the liberal way of solving problems was applied, throw taxpayer money at it to solve the problem. Chretien has already stated this, saying it was in the name of national unity. What we need is a leading party to stop throwing taxpayer money at quebec. and to lay down ground rules for them if they wish to remain part of confederation. Sadly,I do not think there is a party out there willing to do this.
-
Please correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Layton say he could tolerate the present liberal corruption,as long as they[the liberals], concede to the wishes of the ndp? Do we really need another morally lacking party propping up the one we already have?
-
Unlike my feelings for their past leader,I think Mr. Martin is a step forward for the liberals. However,in good conscience ,voting for him would only be rewarding the liberals for nothing but their lack of concern and negligence in the way they have lead us for the past too many years.
-
The obvious reason would be,that Mr. Harper would be our next PM,and in so doing, would hopefully rid Canada of the problems associated with having yet another Quebec rooted PM. The rest of Canada might have a chance to be governed as it should be,without Quebec calling all the shots.
-
No negative comments,we all agree then, make the liberals resign, and Mr. Harper and the Conservatives can begin to put Canada back together. SAVE CANADA VOTE CONSERVATIVE
-
None of these polls make any difference,as we all know, the liberals will come out on top, smelling like roses and because the majority of Canadians aren't intelligent enough to realize that they have been had again by the mighty righteous liberals, and on election day, will once again reward the liberal corruption by voting for them,I would enen suggest that a liberal majority will be the outcome, even without the quecec votes.
-
about our next contenders for pm,Mr. Harper seems to have the best combination of intellect, common sense, and a genuine desire to govern Canada with all of our interests in mind.
-
The up and comer,Jean LaPierre, who better than to continue the fight for fairness and equality for all Canadians,an ex separitist is surely the way to go .
-
Since 1867,as far as I know,no party has ever collected funds for their party by having ficticious employee salaries rerouted to party funds. This is fraud, plain and simple.

Are you for real?

Thanks to The Liberals Canadians Will Need
Bro replied to Iknowbest's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
That's right ! A country of 300 million doing business with a country of 30 million. If there are any losses to be incured, which one will be the end loser? It works both ways is an inane statement. Keep in mind the Americans vote in governments that look after their best interests, and Canadians, well, vote for liberals, who look after the liberal party's best interest.
