  1. what about it? the zionists and balfour started this whole thing by unilaterally giving another people's land away. regardless, it has come too far and israel must be accepted as according to international law. however, israel should also accept the UN resolutions and remove all settlements instead of increasing them. they should also stop building the wall on palestinian land and give control back to the local people. as a jewish UK mp said recently, israel is acting like nazis in gaza. isn't it ironic how all this has been unfolding?
  2. it will be nice to see the liberals losing even more votes because of iggy's fear of angering the jewish lobby. i haven't checked yet.. but what's the other parties' policy in this conflict.
  3. lets pretend that the little greasy guy, ahmadinejad's comment was not a quote from the ayatollah and that he wasn't talking about the zionist regime that needed to be wiped. so who gives a fu*k if iran made a threat? what about the daily threats from israel and the U.S. politicans about attacking iran? this double standard and retardedness is getting tiring. israeli apologists: "oh my god the rockets have killed less than 5 israeli civilians" logic: "yeah true. israelis have killed close to 400 civilian children." israeli apologists: "oh but that was in self defense and it's collateral damage!" israeli apologists: "oh my god. iran is going to be capale of nuclear power. omg that's so wrong. this is illegal. they're a threat!" logic: "israel has nuclear weapons, they are aggressive militarily and iran has not violated the NPT" israeli apologists: "iran said israel should be wiped off the map!!!!!" israeli apologists: "hamas is killing civilians" logic: "uhm. :|" israeli apologists: "omg. hamas kills civilians!" israeli apologists: "iran supports hezbollah and hamas! they terrorize people!' logic: "U.S. gives over $4 billion a year in military aid to israel and vetoes most resolutions condemning israel's actions" israeli apologists: you hate jooooose and... HOLOCAUST!"
  4. are you a zionist who enjoys spinning, sharing half-truths, and spreading misinformation in order to further the racist and selfish ideals and agendas? you seem to speak for them...
  5. ^ very good points. i'll also ask again; if iran does end up with nuclear weapons, it would be in violation of the NPT. would it make it okay if they pull out of the NPT? kind of like india, pakistan and israel?
  6. meaning that the rockets were not the reason for israel's attack. however, the PR that is coming out continues to say that it was a retaliation to the rockets. rockets that were hardly fired until israel attacked hamas' leaders knowing it would provoke them to respond with homemade rocket attacks. israel counts on these made up threats and plays the victim card to justify and start wars to continue its agenda, which is to annex more palestinian land and to not allow or majorly delay palestinians from coming out of the occupation and forming their own country. the settlements continue to grow and not even the gaza pullout has slowed down the illegal jewish settlements on the palestinian land.
  7. how would you react if people from bolivia started moving into your neighbourhood and started pushing the residence out of their homes and then began setting up checkpoints at every four way, and didn't really allow much movement outside of your neighbourhood? what if they stopped food and supplies from coming into your neighbourhood and you weren't able to get the necessary food and medical supplies? what if you made complaints to all authorities and nothing was done about it and this continued for over 40 years? how would you react to that dogonporch?
  8. how is that remarkable? anyone who has done any research knows that israel has been planning this attack for some time. they timed it for the end of bush's term while the transition is happening. just because the zionist PR and a few mongrels here are declaring that this is all due to rockets being shot, it doesn't mean that it's true.
  9. there are many jews who see past the propaganda and the blind nationalism. there are many jews who are against israel's aggression and treatment of the palestinians. many of them live in israel as opposed to these arm chair warriors who high five each other when children are killed and just shrug and announce, "collateral damage!"
  10. to some a happy ending is different than close to 400 children being killed by tanks, helicopters and planes. but you know, you're you and you can decide what makes you happy.
  11. iran is not violating the NPT. please correct me if i'm wrong, but neither the IAEA or the UN have declared that iran is violating the NPT. is it okay for israel, who has in numerous times threatened to attack iran, to have nuclear weapons? it's not like they're known for not attacking other countries. they are seen by all neighbours as a real military threat to the region. has iran attacked any country in the past century? all they've been in engaged in was a self-defense war when iraq, with the backing of the U.S., attacked iran. if iran does end up with nuclear weapons, it would be in violation of the NPT. would it make it okay if they pull out of the NPT? kind of like india, pakistan and of course, israel?
  12. dub.. copy? zing? so you do support bush and cheney? how do you expect anyone to take you seriously?
  13. looks like dancer is out of excuses. we'll see how he'll dance around these facts.
  14. that's your response to the geneva protocal? i didn't expect anything more.
  15. i'm not apologizing for anyone. i am pointing out that israel is at fault in this conflict as well. in fact, they hold most of the responsibility for what has been happening recently and what has been happening for more than 50 years.
  16. this is why i'm here. i'm here to teach you. israel violated the requirement under international humanitarian law the 1949 Geneva Protocol, which has a section on "General protection against effects of hostilities": (ii) take all feasible precautions in the choice of means and methods of attack with a view to avoiding, and in any event to minimizing, incidental loss of civilian life, injury to civilians and damage to civilian objects; you can dance around it all you want, but israel violated another international law... again. you're here, being an apologist for a group the breaks international law, again. you guys are no better than those who are apologists for palestinian rocket launchers.
  17. "joooose" "push into the sea" "jewsmustdie dot com" you're becoming more and more immature in this debate with your accusations of anti-semitism and playing the victim card. quit acting like a pathetic little victim. #1 - when i mentioned that thousands of palestinian children have died, i was referring to the children who have been killed by the IDF and the extremist israeli settlers, under the occupation. #2 - 242 doesn't talk about the settlements? wtf? #3 - before hamas, there was the PLO and arafat who accepted israel and were committed to a 2state solution #4 - israel says a lot of things but does something else. it's the way the israeli government has worked for a long time. while an israeli government official says we want a palestinian state and peace, they're giving the go ahead to build more settlements in the west bank and jerusalem. in most people's world including mine, that's called lying. while another israeli government official says they want a palestinian state, they're voting against to ever allow a palestinian state. such is the case for almost all of the major parties in the knesset, like the likud and the right wing ultra orthodox parties, where they've vowed to never allow a palestinian state. so stop fucking around and admit it. #5 - israel has been and will use any excuse not to create a palestinian state according to the law. they have been making excuses for over 40 years while continuing to increase the settlements and annexing more palestinian land. you seem to think there is nothing wrong with that. stop wasting my time with bullshit rhetoric and be honest in your debating.
  18. collective punishment. israel doesn't want anyone or anything getting in the way of its agenda. it's interesting seeing these israel apologist coming in here trying to justify war crimes. majority of the countries around the world including israel are signatories to international law. apparently these rules are only important to israel and its apologists when others are breaking them.
  19. more excuses. israel continues to stall. they are stalling and you're excusing them. this is nonesense. israel's settlement population continues to increase. there hasn't been a year that the settlements have gone down in population. not even the year that the gaza settlements were evacuated. you're back to giving excuses for the stall. how is one of the major reasons for this conflict, the settlements, are still there when majority of israelis want them removed? more nonsense. again, explain to me how the extremists don't have power in israel? explain to me why the settlers continue to increase in population when majority of israelis want the settlements to be removed because they know that would be a big step towards a fair and just peace? tell me why the settlers continue to increase in direct violation to bush's plan and in contrast to the misinformation you're trying to spread by saying the settlements have been decreasing and israel really, not leaving the occupied land because people have to stop fighting the occupation first. you're a silly person. there you go trying to hide the fact that israel's government has always been controlled by extremist zealots. that's how israel was formed. these zealots, aka zionists, forced themselves into the territory. oh wait, there was one prime minister who actually took action, although small, towards recognizing palestinians' rights, rather the usual lip service, and look what happened to him. RIP rabin. But Hamas (you know, the group that wants to destroy Israel) controls Gaza. If settlements were the only problem, the Gaza residents should already be happy. what do you mean hamas control gaza? all the borders, the airspace, the sea, the economy is all controlled by israel. it has been since the 9000 settlers left. on top of that, look at the condition in the west bank and jerusalem. israel continues to annex land with the wall and the settlements. they've created cantons and have checkpoints. you think hamas or the gazans should be happy with that? you keep getting sillier with your ideas. if you don't approve of them, then stop making excuses for them. let me use small numbers and you might understand. if you remove 9 settlers from gaza, and then add 18 settlers in the west bank, how is that improving the situation and showing that you're interested in resolving the issue? okay. if you want to argue that sharon did not go to the temple mount in order to provoke, then go ahead and be silly. What, you mean the condition they helped to create by not allowing themselves to be pushed into the sea? wow. you should have left that comment for the end. the ever so popular "pushed into the sea". your style of debate has reached an all time low. stop playing the victim. no one buys it. if you want to call the evidence that's right in front of everyone which has a strong smell of thousands of dead children and then claim that it smells like roses, then go for it. the problem with most of your comments, is that they just don't add up. some may be gullible enough to buy the twist and turns, the half-truths because they have done 0 research on the area, but please don't assume that people who are here on this forum are uninformed enough to not catch that you're trying to propagate your ideals and agenda with lies. you know what though, you don't have to worry; you may not be good at this, but there are numerous people like pipes, kristol and dershowitz doing the dirty work.
  20. are you here to make excuses or are you interested in a real and honest debate? israel has had plenty of time and opportunities to allow a palestinian state. likud has voted several times to never allow a palestinian state. there you go pointing fingers at one side and failing miserably to acknowledge the other side's stance. these extremist groups can be found on both sides. it was only recently that sharon finally admitted that they are an occupying force. before that, it was never mentioned. i'm sure you know that there are many israeli groups who oppose the establishment of a palestinian state. many of them are part of the knesset. majority of palestinians would be okay with a palestinian state living beside an israeli state. majority of israeli people feel the same way. there you go. we're getting somewhere. there is no "may". the international community, including Canada agrees that the settlements are illegal. oh no. there you go making excuses again. first of all, 9000 people were removed from gaza but at the same time, more than that amount have been moved into settlements in the west bank. there has been no freeze on the settlements as they've been increasing even after israel agreed to bush's "peace" plan. they haven't. just because they remove a few trailers, it doesn't mean it's okay to start large settlement projects elsewhere. you don't think sharon's visit to the temple mount was provocative? you don't think he was counting on a reaction? do you think that the timing of sharon's action was only a coincidence in regards to a sudden escalation of violence? that's not defending. perhaps israel should look into the condition that they've helped to create. i know what chapter 6 and chapter 7 stand for. you're trying to invalidate the resolutions. that's wrong to do. israel has been violating several resolutions. not just 242. as far as breaking international law, i will try to remember a few: - international court declared the wall israel has built as illegal. that was either in 2004 or 2005 - collective punishment is illegal. yeah, israel is making up excuses, but any honest person has seen how israel has acted; ie, 300 children killed. look up the 4th geneva convention, article 33. - the illegal settlements and the increasing of them - you've already admitted to this - look up the geneva convention, protocal 1. if i remember correctly, it's article 75 - this explains the treatment of civilians during armed conflicts there are so many more violations that i don't have time to lookup. all you need to do is to take a peak at the geneva convention and the hague regulations.
  21. allowed: look up resolution 181. name: there are no games being played. i just wonder whether you support bush and cheney or you have chosen the name as a joke since they're part of one of the worst governments in U.S. history (accordingly to the american people - and to the world)
  22. we're judging israel because they are violating international law. international law which allowed israel to be created. i'm responding to someone with the name bush_cheney2004. with a name like that, you make it difficult not to judge you.
  23. here is canada's official policy on: Occupied territories and Settlements Canada does not recognize permanent Israeli control over territories occupied in 1967 (the Golan Heights, the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip). The Fourth Geneva Convention applies in the occupied territories and establishes Israel's obligations as an occupying power, in particular with respect to the humane treatment of the inhabitants of the occupied territories. As referred to in UN Security Council Resolutions 446 and 465, Israeli settlements in the occupied territories are a violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention. The settlements also constitute a serious obstacle to achieving a comprehensive, just and lasting peace. http://www.dfait-maeci.gc.ca/middle_east/c...olicy-en.asp#06
  24. you quoted that draft as a response to me mentioning that israel will never allow a palestinian state. you said that, this is not their mantra. but it is, which is proven by both international and national votes against it. this is a silly argument so i'm not sure why you're bringing it up. israel is basically saying that they will leave the land once the palestinians stop fighting the occupation and the illegal settlements that continues to increase. very silly. it is obvious that it's just more excuses to stall and to grab more land. the escalation in violence and suicide attacks did not really start after the intifada which began after sharon made a controversial and provocative visit to the temple mount. whatever.. 10 years ago. 15 years ago. it doesn't change the fact that it has only killed 28 people in 8 years. whereas over 350 palestinian children have been killed in the last 2 weeks. wrong. israel is under the requirement to follow it because the resolution was passed. just because the resolution does not call for action, it does not mean that the resolution is void. and i'm not sure what your comments about copying and pasting is. i don't like repeating myself but since you didn't get it the first time, arafat and the PLO accepted israel's right to exist and its sovereignty as it has been mentioned in resolution 242. palestinians did their part. israel is not occupying syria. the important thing is that the palestinians did accept resolution 242 and did accept israel's right to exist. israel continues to make excuses not to. i don't want to sit here and give lessons. if you want to take a position and talk about international law that applies tot he region, it's best that you study them first. look up the fourth geneva convention, which, ironically was created after the persecution of jews in world war 2. here is a link: http://www.diakonia.se/sa/node.asp?node=945
