  1. I love his domestic policies. Ending the Fed, the drug war, the war on terrorism, balancing the budget, cutting several departments, I see nothing wrong with that. I would like to see our Federal governmnent shrink as well.
  2. The things I like most about Ron Paul is him wanting to end the war on terrorism, end the war on drugs, end the patriot act and ending the Federal Reserve. I also prefer Austrian economics over Keynesian.
  3. I agree. Ron Paul is surging in South Carolina one poll today has him at 16% while another has him at 20%. I think it will end up being Romney vs Paul. Huntsman and Perry will be gone after South Carolina and Santorum will probably be out sometime during the caucus states that follow. I am not to sure how well Gingrich will do.
  4. I am pretty sure this was posted on here before but it needs another posting.
  5. I really don't think Iran is as big of a threat as everyone is saying, I think it is just war propaganda. Putting these sanctions on Iran is an act of war, it will only lead to bigger problems. This kind of stuff makes it easier for terrorist organizations to recruit people.
  6. You said he has no chance at beating Obama, I said he does, he has the best chance. It was close, he was winning at some points and entry polls were showing him in the lead...he ended up tying Romney and Santorum for 7 delegates a piece so it is like a win.
  7. He has a better chance then the other candidates do. Ron Paul gets more support from democrats, independents and the military then any of the other candidates. You call his views extreme but he is just following your countries rule of law, the Constitution. In a recent poll for the New Hampshire primary, Ron Paul is on the rise and Romney is slipping. Romney is polling at 38% down from 41% and Paul is at 24% up from 18%.
  8. We are destroying Iran's ability to make a living, so many innocent people in Iran will suffer as a result.
  9. I disagree. This will be his last run. Delegates wise Ron Paul tied Santorum and Romney in Iowa with 7 each.
  10. Ya, you are right. I don't think he will last past NH though.
  11. Looks like a virtual tie between Santorum and Romney, Paul a close third. I wouldn't be surprised if Bachmann and Huntsman dropped out tomorrow.
  12. Source Going to count the votes in a secret location, that doesn't sound that smart to me, got to hope there is no cheating.
  13. Main stream media on the 2008 caucus and the 2012 caucus http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Elx_XDIk1FE Ron Paul is doing well so it is now an irrelevant caucus.
  14. Good thing you don't have to be a resident of Iowa to take part in this poll.
  15. Ahh, your government must of taken away more of your freedoms.
  16. Since the Iowa Caucus is tomorrow I figured I will throw in my prediction for what percentage of the votes each candidate will receive. Michele Bachmann - 6% Newt Gingrich - 13% Jon Huntsman - 2% Ron Paul - 26% Rick Perry - 12% Mitt Romney - 24% Rick Santorum - 17% What percentage of the vote do you think each candidate will receive?
  17. Can independents and democrats vote in this caucus or is it closed to registered republicans? If it is opened to independents I think Paul's numbers will be significantly higher then what we are seeing on the polls now.
  18. I may be wrong but didn't Bush and Obama win in Iowa?
  19. So you are saying Ron Paul is misleading people and he is just a big racist. Well let me just say I strongly disagree with you.
  20. You clearly have a biased against Ron Paul. If you ever listened to him talk he clearly doesn't hate people he just has a different approach to solving the problems Americans face. Maybe you just don't understand where he is coming from.
  21. Ending the wars and bringing the troops home would be one of the things Ron Paul could do without congressional approval. He can sign executive orders to bring the troops home.
  22. This is the holiday season so people have been hiring extra help and over 300,000 people left the workforce in November which helped drive the unemployment rate down. If you look at U6 date unemployment is closer to 15%. The government only reports U3 which is 8.6%.
