  1. Where does it say that they have always been independent from the British Crown? It says that the system of government is failing, therefore we must abolish it.. Say whatever you will, you were paying their taxes and Englishmen were on the streets like any kind of conventional peace-keeping force.
  2. Yes.. I do understand.. I am not quite sure what we are debating here anymore.. I was just saying that the United States of America was formerly part of the British Empire
  3. The dictionary would disagree.. http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=liberty
  4. I meant Liberty from ____ , not where did you get the idea
  5. Haha, is worrying about having a stable government absolutely silly when compared to worrying about which god the guy 15 blocks away worships?
  6. If the United States of America was not formerly part of the British Empire then what the hell were you fighting for?
  7. Well according to the Bible.. every prophecy in the scriptures were sent directly from God..
  8. It was still part of the British Empire.. And if you are talking about the Commonwealth of Nations, that is not the British Empire..
  9. Haha. Like Santa Claus is as impossible as the right to life..
  10. Yes, but you are also a remnant of the once great British Empire..
  11. Well, mend your reality a little bit.. Aim higher
  12. Except we are not living within the British Empire..
  13. Where does it say that it is not a right ?
  14. I am quite sure that this statement has been said by Mr.C in more than 2 threads lol
  15. That isn't what the passage means.. It means that all true prophecies are viable because they were not personal interpretations, they were messages from god
  16. We may have more limitations when it comes to influence yes... However, you try to muscle everybody around enough and see if anybody would want to work with you.. An empire does not last forever, we know that
  17. A consistent unipolar attitude would ensure stable animosity towards the United States. If you wish to rebuild bridges, multilateral action must be taken at some point..
  18. Well if not for international responsibility.. Then stay away from a concept known a "burning bridges". According to the so called "War on Terror" in Iraq and Afghanistan, not even the U.S.A. (who is the sole superpower) has the power to singlehandedly muscle everybody around.
  19. Yes, I certainly generally disagree with ridiculous dogma. However, tolerance is a very modern concept
  20. Yeah, I have seen what kind of government funded programs the French get.. That is hard to top
  21. No, it is not a perfect nation and never was. It was still something to look up to however. Anyhow, I was just trying to give some international validity to what I believe is good nation. However, according to you, I can only sympathize with those people who say that America is a "selfish, unilateral, irresponsible empire". I really hope that you stop starting wars.
  22. Actually, while we have our imperfections, I do believe that our system is fundamentally better. Too bad
