Manning, Grey to receive Order of Canada
Mr.Canada replied to kimmy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Ron Maclean has done nothing to deserve one. He is Cherry's straight man, and perhaps a good interviewer, nothing more. -
Manning, Grey to receive Order of Canada
Mr.Canada replied to kimmy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Finally the right wing drought ends. There has been a steady stream of lefties getting it. Nice to see some balance for once. Now where is Don Cherry's? -
LOL, I like that one

Bob Rae to end bid for Liberal leadership: CTV
Mr.Canada replied to jdobbin's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Ignatieff also supported that war. I would like John Manley to lead the Liberals. I would even consider voting for him if he led them. I believe he will be next after Ignatieff fails and he will. He just doesn't look like a PM imo. I firmly believe that Manley will be a Canadian PM one day. -
Parliament lost confidence, how about you?

Then other parties doesn't get as much money, simple. Parties should be able to raise their own money and not rely on welfare to stay afloat. -

Granted he'll be a great improvement over Dion but this man is so pompous and out of touch. He's lived in Canada for 3 of the past 35 years, this isn't going to play well in an election. It's look like a greedy power grab by an aristocrat. -

Taking public money from all parties is playing games? The Tories have the most to lose. I don't see the problem. If this coalition ever took power the Liberals would be finished forever as would the NDP leaving the Tories to rule forever unabated until a new party formed. This is just my opinion of course. Massive deficits and raised corporate tax with thousands more jobs lost on the hands of the LPC and NDP, yeah they'd be done forever. -

Mr.Canada replied to cybercoma's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Well that's the great thing about Canada, we can disagree and I really think that's great. The coalition has no plan whatever and the NDP policies would send business running for the door and the recession would be far worse. The coalition would go into massive deficit and raise corporate taxes. Not a good formula for getting people jobs, in fact there would be less jobs. -
Harper is far and wide the best leader available right now. THe CPC actually has a plan unlike the others. It's really between the Tories and the LPC as the NDP will never win any election. They are merely a protest vote party.

Mr. Harper is merely giving the jokers the rope to hang themselves, nothing more. Don't think for a moment that Harper hasn't planned all of this. This is by design, believe it. Harper will make some concessions to the opposition but will place some of those fiscal reforms back into the budget so he will get defeated and the GG will drop a writ. Harper will then get his massive majority he requires and deserves to get to work for Canada, let's roll up our sleeves. Then finally the public funding to political parties will be gone, which is supported by over half of Canadians. The majority of Canadians support this. -
The Coalition needs a name
Mr.Canada replied to fellowtraveller's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
6 out of 10 Canadians aren't in favour of this coalition propped up by the separtist Bloc. The coalition is dead, if they are smart. If not Harper will cruise to an easy majority. -

Ignatieff won't fair any better than Dion. Harper is going to rip him apart. Mr. Ignatieff is an arrogant man who is out of touch with average everyday people. He has the Harvard arrogance, this won't play well with Canadians at all. Plus he hasn't lived in Canada for 30 years than comes back 2 years ago to become PM. This man is way too arrogant and out of touch. This will become clear very soon. Ignatieff will never be PM. -
Should we abolish Canada's Human Rights Commissions?
Mr.Canada replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
It's time we got rid of this. We tried an experiment and it failed. Time to do away with it and let people say or print whatever they want. No matter what. If the far right is so out of touch then why are they so worried about what they say? -
The Liberals raise taxes and spending at the same time is the only difference.

I lived there for 4 years and everything was just fine. I haven't been working for a union my whole life you know, lol. I'm a good organizer, which means I'm good at managing people and telling them what to do and how to get the most out of them.

White.doors this doesn't make my point untrue at all. If anything it only reinforces it. -
If they separated I'd move their in a heartbeat. Especially if they had a Reform Party type of government.

Why have Israelifascists overtaken this board?!
Mr.Canada replied to aras's topic in The Rest of the World
Just because the truth hurts doesn't mean that you get to pick and choose the facts. I speak the truth get used to it. I am the anti to your kind of downtown dwelling, hippy idealist everyone holds hands and sings 'we are the world', gay loving type. I'm against all of that stuff which downtown folk hold dear. -
Milton is the next town over from Mississauga. I grew up around there so nice try. Cambridge is an hour away. There will always be those who prefer the company of their own race to those from other races. Is this bad? Not at all, in fact it's quite normal and a natural instinct. The sooner we accept that people are different and do not want to live together all the time the sooner we can move on from this. The white flight to the suburbs confirms this. Subconsciously whites move further away from cities and when the coloreds move into the area in any great numbers the whites move further out again. This is fact and can be witnessed in any suburb in any city. Now that the traditional suburbs are getting filled up with coloreds, as is happening now as they have finally caught up with whites in terms of income, you see the expansion of the suburbs to new areas dominated by whites.

Mr.Canada replied to kengs333's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Only Jews have the right of return. Meaning that if the remaining Arabs and Christians do not reproduce they will become extinct as they aren't allowed to relocate there. This is a just and equal society in your words. Can Christians return? No Can Arabs return? No Can Jews return? Yes. They are the only ones even though all three have legitimate claims to the area. The Jews have deemed it their area and theirs alone. This is Zionism and Zionism is racist and has overtones of apartheid. -

American Facism Continues.
Mr.Canada replied to Oleg Bach's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Well, that's what they say. When you're on top everyone wants to try and tear you down. We've witnessed it here folks. Mr.Canada making brilliant points and this guy as well as M.Dancer falling to personal attacks since they have no other recourse.
