  1. This is nothing more than Liberal rhetoric. Jdobbin is just trying to make an issue out of nothing. No matter what the Tories and Harper do he will bash them/him. IF the Liberals put this measure instead of the Tories he'd be praising them as being fiscally sound. You can sell it but no ones buying this time. Nice try for the spin.
  2. Totally and utterly false. Harpers numbers are rising in Quebec with the federalists. Your above statement is a complete myth based on fantasy.
  3. At any rate it's official. This sounds much more reasonable to me. 20% of what the Americans are giving. That seems about right based on per capita. I just hope some meaningful strings are attached
  4. You mean now that it appears that for the first time in 40 years it's looking like we'll have a Tory controlled Senate in a few years, so lets abolish it instead. Right? Liberals will stop at nothing to gain power will they.
  5. I see so if Harper doesn't fill them you expect the Liberal, NDP,Bloc coalition not to fill them either? Give me a break. The Senate will be filled not matter what. The sitting PM decides who sits in those seats. I don't remember hearing you complain when Paul Martin filled many seats. This is just more partisanship. I repeat, those seats will be filled no matter what. The Liberal, NDP, Bloc coalition would fill them in a hurry if tey were in power but of coarse that would be fine with you right?
  6. Many welfare people should not have kids at all. If they cannot afford to raise them perhaps they should be sterilized. Why should the taxpayers pick up the tab for welfare moms?
  7. If people in the USA would get insurance neither would they be.
  8. We're not wealthy...lol. We donate the max to the CPC.
  9. I'm not saying private, stop twisting it please. I'm saying semi private.
  10. But we're not competitive and barely running. We lose hundreds of Doctors a year to the USA where they make more money, my plan would keep them here.
  11. Dang, I just went and looked through it and couldn't find it but I know I read it or heard it someplace on TV or the papers, I read most of them everyday. I remeber most everything too, this is bugging me. When I find it I'll post it but it was put into a medium somewhere.
  12. We donate the maximum, maybe he'll give me one. I shook his hand once before he was PM but that's it, he don't even know my name so I guess Im out, lol.
  13. I want to be get more involved in politics some day, as in having a paid position. In the background so I wouldn't want a public profile.
  14. There was a write up in today's Toronto Sun saying their would be. If it's in the Sun it's gotta be true
  15. Harper is not an Obama appointee mate, you've missed the mark.
  16. Yep, it's dead and failed. If we do something along the lines I've suggested it would reduce the wait times for everyone. I'm trying to do the public a service here. Would I say these things I say publicly? Not all of them no. IF I did no one would touch me with a 10 ft pole. I have the comfort of anon here.
  17. LOL. That's more like it LesterDC, see the humour in it all. That was a good one.
  18. These are facts, not rhetoric but I agree I've made my point, presented undisbutable facts. There's no sense rubbing peoples noses in it, that's just cruel.
  19. It's only fair. The more money you spend the better the Home, auto, TV you can buy why not be able to buy better doctors too. I doubt the Doc's would complain. Obviously in a severe emergency we may allow our doctors to help out. It would up to a vote by the Private Hospital Council when deciding upon our charter if we'd include it. Other wise the injured would be transported to a public hospital, free of course. See I'm not totally heartless. I'll give em a free ride to a hospital, they just cannot use mine.
  20. jdobbin, every party works with a PR firm, this isn't anything new. What's your point sir?
  21. It shows that he is in touch with everyday Canadians. Ignatieff cannot say the same.
  22. Jdobbin, with all due respect and I do respect you, yes there will be. There are currently 20 Tories in the senate, 38 aftyer the appointments, 12 more next year and so on.
  23. So now it's Harpers fault Canadians aren't buying domestic autos? Uhhh...yeah...ok. Me and my wife both drive domestic autos, we're doing our part to help out. Are you doing that, if you drive of coarse.
  24. Yes several senators will retire in 2011. More appointments and voila the Tories control the senate. Once that happens we can do something else for the good of Canada.
  25. Harper is one of us. An everyday man. He drinks beer, watches hockey has a family and loves kittens. Just like millions of Canadians. Ignatieff cannot say the same.
