I did watch question period, it was funny as all hell watching their stupid rhetoric being said over and over again, hoping that if they say it 10000 times people will believe it. Harper will fight tooth and nail to keep his job, by spending millions of the conservatives money that was going to be used for the next election to try to keep his job. Whats more funny, is the conservatives are actually going to blindly give more money.

you should read about the Westminster system of gov't. We have a minority gov't and that requires the confidence of the house of commons. They dont have it. the CPC thinks we should get rid of the money limits and then allow special interests to get involved in politics like the USA... and then we could have 6-12 month long elections, and millions of dollars. Then you would see ad's like stephen harper sucks monkey butt... and at the end of the message it would say this ad was paid for by the people for Jack Layton. That would not be the NDP advertising that but some special interest group to skew the truth.. do you want that crap in our elections?? As for a Civil war.. people are not going to forget the right ID and paperwork next time and will make their votes known. However if Canadians were to rise up.. the US military would be coming in here to help to put down that uprising. you can read about that law too. It was a multilateral agreement that harper signed.

I think this would be the best thing that could happen for the green party.. They need a leader thats not studying to be an Anglican ordained minister and a leader thats not going to run around endorsing another party, leader, and everything about it. people we're turned away from voting green because she did that. they went and voted liberal or NDP or even the CPC or did not even vote. IF May takes that appointment to the senate, I for one would be happy, as it would force a leadership race in the green party and maybe they could get a real leader.

whats funny is it was not the liberals raided by the rcmp this past year was it.. so what is it that the conservatives are doing that is illegal, and why??? as for this the GG will not take us to the polls, and if she does, it will be a longer election of 5-7 weeks if over Christmas... look what happened to the liberals in 2006 with that. Tons of documents got leaked and people were able to see what the liberals were about... This will happen again if we have a long election. and I guarantee you more crap would come out about the con's. The CPC plan is to discredit everyone and try to look good, fact is harper wrote a letter to the GG to join with the NDP & the Bloc. So if they were doing the same thing, but how are trying to distance themselves from the truth and the facts on record. The Con's would rather we believe the lies instead of the truth. Fact remains people are watching this. Those that watch politics all the time, know for a fact that the CPC members do their best to hide or twist the truth to how they see fit. The constitutional crisis would be if any of the members elected violated their oath of office they swore at the last election. If any of them broke their oath then they should be removed. The crisis is the CPC would rather put out more lies and BS, and I think Canadians are seeing through it. They are starting to see it.. After all Alberta lost one of their CON seats to the NDP I believe it was in the last election...

exactly. and that means we are back to square one, and defeat. Not only will he look like a lame duck, but as others say it will prove the point of the coalition is trying to make. It will be the dagger in harpers back and I think he knows it. By now his people have gone around the room to try to figure out how to make harper look good. if the GG were to prorogue parliament, it would also basically end her career as GG. the GG will deny Harper and force him to have this vote by the laws of our land she can remove him herself and goto the coalition if she FEELS its the best interest of this country. without the harper gov't being defeated in the commons.

4. the GG allows the coalition to take over and in 4-6 months we're back to the polls anyways. in the mean time harper will still be scraping egg off his face, might face a leadership review. The people that did not vote due to ID problems will get their info squared away and then vote in the next election. And the con's lose many of their seats. 5. GG allows another election, and Harper wont have time to scrape egg off his face, and people that did not vote due to ID problems will get their papers in order and vote, causing harper to lose seats.

thing is alot of the people that forgot their ID or did not vote due to ID problems, won't make the same mistake twice. that could be a million or two more voters right there. and those seats that were gained by the con's could be toast.

well since the liberals have to give up 6 seats, that means it will be 18 of their best and brightest minds on the liberal side. as for the NDP, who knows..

TCCK. this is a constitutional matter, and the only way this would EVER get heard is at the leisure of the Supreme court of Canada, and they have the choice of what case they want to hear and what case they don't want to hear. you take this to provincial supreme courts your case will be dismissed... if your lucky it wont be dismissed with prejudice. and if it does get dismissed with prejudice no court will even consider putting this on their dockets. Fact is no court other then the supreme court of Canada will hear this, and if they actually hear the case.. you would be lucky as all hell if that happened.. and you wasted their time, they would dismiss your case with prejudice and you would never get a second chance. IF you bothered to read the constitution cover to cover, and read what the best constitutional lawyers have said about this, you would know your pissing into the wind while its splattering all over you. Learn your constitutional law before you come off half cocked and sounding stupid.

there are 18 seats that are empty.. currently another 12 to open up during 2009 and 4 for 2010. total of 34 seats or 32.38% if the senate has to be replaced. So do you think the NDP is not going want some of those seats??? It was mentioned at todays new conference about putting Elizabeth may into the senate... that would be interesting. Harper was going to try to create pseudo elections for senate, and all that except, there is no boundary lines for districts or what not, and senate does not get constituency offices. that would have had to be created. So do you think the NDP will get, lets say 4 seats in the senate as well???? nuff said on my ramblings, fire away.
