Well, it's June. Any word on whether Omar's kangaroo court at Gitmo has rebooted? -

Farming isotopes? What does NAFTA say about such emerging markets? This will eventually be about Chalk River too... -
Harper government to sell AECL reactor business

Are they worried about the security implications if something goes wrong with this taxpayer-built, crown corporation that the Leprechaun has no right to sell? Hey, I know a way to prevent the spread of Nuclear Technology... offer ours up to the highest bidder! That way we can blame them! Harper needs to go before there are no Canadian assets left... Notice how they try to time this announcement with the Chalk River `Isotope Crisis' so it seems like privatizing it will solve the problem? (I only call Flaherty names cause I suffered through him and Mike Harris in Ontario. Common Sense Revolution... yea right.) -
Gee, how great it will be when the news media is nothing but commercials and crappy, corporate agenda-dictated, pseudo-news. A national, publically-funded tv and radio network is a very important, Nation-building asset that Canadians should be proud of if they weren't spoon-fed the private market's competitive propaganda.

ooo... you win... `Gotcha' politics is popular and, today, you get to eat the cake. Well done. Good thing you showed us the bad side of Ignatieff. whew.....

Good. Maybe we won't be confused with recent American advances like torturing humans. -

Dude.... post a link to that episode... cause they're between seasons right now and not on TV... It would be funny though... haha... Saskatchewan's sealing industry.... haha... are you sure you're not confusing an old Rick Mercer joke with your infantile sarcasm? -

boo to Imperialism. Hooeh to our GG. -
Ah.... no. Ignatieff was showing allegiance to the declared `party leader' of the time; Dion. Ignatieff actually should have won the Liberal Convention years ago but Gerard Kennedy and Stephan Dion `pooled' their votes and won. Iggy always remained loyal to the Liberal Party.

When enough loggers are out of work due to the Softwood Lumber Scandal, you might hear one or two more songs about pogey on your shore too.

Let me be perfectly clear. I'm moving forward, with shovels ready, for your attack on scripted media bites. I want to bury the producers of them too. But, let's be clear, Stevie Harper is a glutton when it comes to pre-scripted phraseology and Fox Network mentality.

.... That's another thing... where's this 5 years of training? and... are you sure it wasn't an Ontario summer camp? Maybe Omar was asking to be shot because he was blackmailed by whoever videotaped him. Why was he videotaped? Where's the rest of the video? Will we recognize a different Omar if the Pentagon released the whole tape? -

Deadly force should be used, without any worry or hesitation that civi, armchair-warriors like me will attack you for doing so. I won't. If any human tries to plant mines along your routes, I hope you plant many bullets in them. But the videos showing Omar aren't as clear-cut as you see them. It is not clear whether they're planting mines, it is not clear he even knows what he's holding in the infamous `handling and assembling explosives' part of that video, and it is not clear where you've heard him bragging about wanting to kill American soldiers. I've heard the confessions of the US soldiers and the US interrogators and they don't clear it up either.... It is not patriotic to perpetuate rumours. Let the Canadian Court decide whether this citizen is guilty. -

Well, to be polite, I apologize for questioning your allegiance. I was upset that you considered the treason accusation against Omar to be obvious. It is not treason. -

That firebrand Haitian-Canadian just put her neck out for Canada, many Canadians, and our sealing industry. Screw the Queen. -
Puhleeze. The Tory party of old was much more respectable than this `alliance' of far-right yokels and cynical right-of-centre citizens. Harper's conservatives are fringe elements of the right wing trying to rebrand itself as the new and old conservatives... Tories used to appeal to every province, not just Alberta. What was it Harper said about Nova Scotia... a `culture of defeatism'.... yah, really cares about votes from you guys....
