  1. Hate is a lot more easy to type too, eh Craig1? Do you think this thread is being "anti American"?
  2. CSIS would've known how Khadr was `prepared' for their interviews. They knew the details. They went ahead anyway. They are accomplices in the mistreatment. What is Canada becomming when the Prime Minister tells the Supreme Court to butt out and condones the way Bush's America tortured our Citizen? Sick.
  3. CSIS was Complicit in the torturing of a Canadian child.
  4. Sorry, but it's not that simple. It's almost as though Harper will torture kids for political gain...
  5. Harper was in power while the details became public knowledge yet he didn't do anything to stop it; he condoned it. Only North American Lawyers would try to $ee it as "convoluted". Or maybe because those countries understood their responsibilities... .... with the whole world watching.
  6. Firstly, I am uncomfortable knowing that this server is in the States. Someone suggested that we're somehow `outside' of Canadian Law because of that. Is that a good thing? Wal-mart is not a good thing, regardless of what most of my fellow Canadians think. There are many American Townsfolk marching against Wal-mart these days. I've never spent a Canadian Cent in a Wal-mart. Never Will. The North American Auto Industry has been coddled by protectionist measures for too long. Toyota won the battle on the quality of their product and, in 2001, was able to compete directly in a "free-market", "Capitalist" Continent... Auto Pact I would rather buy `Canadian' where I can. Toyota has managed to support its own plants in Canada without the need of corporate welfare...
  7. BullSheet. CSIS was complicit. Khadr was `softened up' specifically for their `interviews'. CSIS tortured Khadr indirectly
  8. Baboon needs to poke fun at the visuals cause there's not much else going on in that monkey brain.
  9. If we were discussing national secrets, I'd be uncomfortable. But it is quite common for Canadian groups to find hosting services in the States; it's usually cheaper. Actually, it's quite Canadian to only care about who offers the best price. Thanks for the heads up though, CyberComa. New info for me. I'll edit the anti-CIA messages from now on.
  10. Keith Boag or Wendy Mesley. Please not Hiscox....
  11. To get away from the religious crap and back to the point, I'm not as proud of Canada now as I was before. Happy Canada Day and all, but will we be proud of our treatment of Omar Khadr in years to come?
  12. This forum, this cyber-city, is impressive everyday. Hooeh and Happy Canada Day, everyone here... Even Baboon.
  13. Do you also think the recent Premier of Nova Scotia is a rich person's kid? I find that the left lies less.
  14. Harper's thugs don't have the mental capacity to cope with problems in Canada's Nuclear Efforts. Like Harris, they'd rather `farm' out the worries to a private company who's agenda is VERY DIFFERENT than the Canadian Taxpayers. The Leprechaun and the rest of them figure the taxpayers won't find out about the scam till they, the Narrow-minded Harrisites, are long gone.
  15. Linda Keen was a good public servant... Leprechaun wants to sell assets again.... obviously Harper's Thugs were planning to privatize from the start.
  16. well, my hopeful guess is that someone will wake up and treat this case as Canada's problem. If you wanna empty Gitmo and try to erase it from global memory, Khadr needs to be dealt with elsewhere; not in America anymore (cause they tortured him and the optics are bad). Harper better grow up soon cause he's gonna have to deal with this soon...
  17. it's important because it shows how Harper continues to refuse Canadian citizen's rights. He wants to ignore Omar Khadr and Abdelrazik in the immature hope that they'll just go away... That he won't have to deal with such serious subjects... Harper would cheat his way through an exam if given the option.
  18. So your solution is not to vote? Harper likes you. Fascism thrives on apathy.
  19. It's like a poorly written Fox Sitcom....
  20. If your scope has no definition, if you're jumping on the slow-moving, `all politicians are bad' bandwagon, then I've no time for you. Your snarl is more rabid than the politicians you despise. Be as cynical as you want about politicians in general, most people too lazy to vote often excuse themselves that way, but this forum topic is about a Conservative Rat caring more about how this invented `crisis' will benefit their popularity than about how many people Harper may have put in danger by ignoring a public servant's early warnings about Chalk River in 2008. He didn't just ignore those warnings, he stifled them... hoping to use the facility as a launching pad to privatize Canadian Nuclear Knowledge.
  21. It doesn't help to silence the public servant's early warnings about Chalk River, fire those who made them, then manipulate the impending crisis, months later, to sell privatization and look `sexy'. That is really dirty, Harper.
  22. Thank you, Jasmine MacDonnell, for helping to reveal another Conservative Rat. Canada needs to fumi-gate.
  23. This Rat only won the Halton riding because Garth Turner was too honest to be the conservative MP for Halton. He went independent and wasn't able to fund a winning campaign. The Harper Thugs easily parachuted this former Toronto Port Authority Biatch into the riding even though she probably knows diddly squat about the region. If Halton wasn't getting stuffed and ruined with overpriced sprawl, it might've paid more attention to its recent MP. To me, Lisa's attitude is just another glimpse into the hollowness of Harper's politics.
