Al Quaeda No 2. We Don't Kill Innocents
WarBicycle replied to AngusThermopyle's topic in The Rest of the World
The Taliban is funding its war effort through the cultivation and sale of narcotics. Destroying the drug trade will eliminate the Taliban's primary financial source, seriously diminishing their ability to wage a protracted insurgency. Aerial eradication, which is done by spraying the poppy fields with chemicals is one of the most effective methods to destroy opium, but the Afghan government won't allow it -
Al Quaeda No 2. We Don't Kill Innocents
WarBicycle replied to AngusThermopyle's topic in The Rest of the World
The Taliban are one of the mujahedeen They were not elected into office; they captured the city of Kandahar and then began a military advance that ended with their capture of Kabul in September 1996. The Taliban did manage to re-unite most of Afghanistan, but were unable to end the civil war. Nor were they able to improve the conditions of Afghans, access to food, clean water and employment declined during their rule. Only Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates recognized the Taliban as Afghanistan’s legitimate government. The Taliban provided a safe haven to al-Qaeda, after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack Saudi Arabia and the UAE cut diplomatic ties with the Taliban. Only Pakistan recognized it as the legitimate government of Afghanistan. -
Tell that to the Lebanese, fifty years ago Lebanon was a Christian country and the jewel of the Middle East, today it is in shatters thanks to militant Islam. Your Muslim friends represent a small minority in Canada, once their numbers increase to the 5 to 10 percent range one can expect nothing but trouble from them. History has a habit of repeating itself; Muslims have been troublemakers throughout the world since the religion was founded in the 7th century.

Al-Qaeda's No. 2 In another answer, al-Zawahri said it was against Islamic religious law for any Muslim to live permanently in a Western country "under the laws of the infidels." Great, perhaps it is time we send them home.

I didn't write that the driver was 'brainless', I wrote that the job was a 'no-brainer'. Security guards a/k/a 'rent-a-cop' also have to deal with an unruly public and thieves, but are paid according to skill level and training required of them to perform their duties.

Our reign of terror, by the Israeli army
WarBicycle replied to kuzadd's topic in The Rest of the World
Prove me wrong. -
I spend a week fighting a forest fire in July 1966, its dangerous work. I was in the military so we did not receive any extra pay for fighting the fire and we were responsible for replacing our boots ruined by the heat. I had the burnt out ground disappear from under me several times. One day while clearing a firebreak a friend of mine had an axe bounce off a tree and hit him in the shin. The injury ended his career.

Our reign of terror, by the Israeli army

There has never been a nation called Palestine, the Israel have as much right to their territory as the Palestinian have to theirs. The Palestinians have been given ample opportunity over the past twenty years to have a state of their own, but they refuse to compromise and insist on the destruction of Israel. -
Four individuals who have a cottages close to mine are TTC or MTC bus drivers; they are the first to admit it is a no-brainer job. They have to deal with nutcases who ride the buses in the winter to stay warm or gang members who terrorize passenger for a thrill. Three of them hate the job thanks to management always backing up the public, but the money and medical coverage are good, and the fact they are too old to start over is the only reason they stay. With regard to special skills, registered nurses spend three years in nursing school, those with a BSN do an addition four years at university; schoolteachers have at least an honours degree plus a year at teacher’s college. Bus drivers are lucky if they receive six months formal training.
-
I worked in recruitment in the military for four and a half years, the not-so-bright applicants became mse ops (drivers).
-
Many of Denmark's trains are zero-manned and controlled by computers. There are no conductors, the trains operate on an honour system, and passengers purchase their tickets from machines before boarding, periodic checks and stiff penalties deter individuals from abusing the system. The TTC should consider a similar system for Toronto.

A person with a no 'brainer' job should not be earning more money than a registered nurse or school teacher.

Vote against immigration bill or else, Liberals told
WarBicycle replied to Qwerty's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The Liberals biggest problem is not the fear of losing the immigrant vote, it the losing of the Canadian born voter's support. We need skilled tradesman more than we need grandparents, uncles and aunts from Third World countries. -
This ticket collector earned $100,000 including overtime, not bad for a no-brainer job.

Al Quaeda No 2. We Don't Kill Innocents

Here's a video showing some of Afghanistan's 60,000 man army doing what it does best. If we were to leave now this idiots would easily be defeated in less than a year. -
The goal of militant Islam is to force its will upon the rest of the world; fortunately, we have its history of violence against non-believers to give us a better appreciation and realization of what to expect should they accomplish their ambitions. The politically correct living in the West are quick to acquiesce to what they perceive as reasonable Muslim demands for religious rights. However, how Muslims go about achieving the remainder of their demands should be cause for concern. When a nation’s Muslim population is approximately 1%, they are not considered a threat and are considered an integral, but unique segment of society. Once they real 2% to 3% of a nation’s population they attempt to expand their influence by recruiting or converting other disenfranchised youth. In order to accomplish this they target street gangs and inmates serving time in prison. Once they reach 5% of a nation’s population, they make exceedingly unreasonable demands from authorities out of proportions to their small share of the population. For example they will insist on the availability of halal food regardless of the added expense to the institution; they will demand modesty hours at public pools; they will demand the right for women to cover the faces on photo ID; and, most important, they will use the threat of litigation should and institution or employer fail to comply. They will also pressure the government in power to allow them to govern themselves under Sharia law. A couple of years ago they attempted this in Ontario, forcing the government to prohibit all religious-base tribunals to settle family disputes. CBC News Once Muslims reach 10% of a nation’s population the trouble begins. One can expect unruly or mob behavior whenever they feel they have been victimized. (Riots and car burning in France). They will also physically attack and kill or threaten any non-Muslim that insults Islam. (Netherlands - Theo van Gogh; Denmark – Mohammed cartoons; Britain - Salmond Rushdie) One Muslims exceed 20% of a nations population one can expect near instant rioting, armed militia terrorizing the population, random killings and the burning of Christian and Jewish institutions. Ethiopia is presently fighting Islamic militias in Somalia in order to prevent from having easy access to its Muslim population. Once Muslims reach 40% of a nation’s populations expect massacres, terror attacks and ongoing warfare. We have a large Serbian, Croatian and Slovenian population where I live. In the mid 1980’s local Serbs were predicting a civil war in Bosnia and Kosovo. I thought they were exaggerating, I was wrong. Once Muslims reach 60% of a nation’s population you can expect ethnic cleansing, and Sharia law being used as a weapon of intimidation. Once Muslims reach 80% of a nation’s population, you can expect State organized genocide and ethnic cleansing. When Ayatollah Khomeini returned to Iran after 15 years of exile his government executed tens of thousands of opponents of his regime. The same happened when the Taliban took over Afghanistan. Once a nation becomes 100% Muslim, you have a sort of Islamic nirvana because everyone is Muslim. One would think that this accomplishment would usher in decades of peace, but it will not. At this point Muslims will start killing each other. Proof positive, we do not live in a perfect world. Source

The vast majority of people I've experienced living on welfare in Ontario are single mothers and they get barely enough to survive. I've inspected several hundred low end rental properties and have yet to see a Plasma screen TV. If they do have cable TV or a telephone it is often paid for by a parent or sibling.

My ancestors on both sides of my family came over as Highland soldiers to fight in the French Indian wars. They chose the wrong side during the Revolutionary War and were forced to move to leave the US for Canada. They were the original settlers of Glengarry county, Ontario and Prince Edward Island. How many members can trace their family back to the 1740's in North America.

Our reign of terror, by the Israeli army
WarBicycle replied to kuzadd's topic in The Rest of the World
To testify is to give a first hand authentication of a fact usually made orally by a witness under oath in response to interrogation by a lawyer or authorized public official. The Israeli Army subscribes to the rule of law, anyone who is guilty of a war crime will eventually be held accountable because I don't believe there is an statute of limitations for war crimes. -

Muslim Population in European Prisons
WarBicycle replied to WarBicycle's topic in The Rest of the World
A source was provide and the last county listed was Spain at 70%, it was sloppy posting on my part not an attempt to mislead. I had initially posted the entire piece, but then changed it because I was advised a few days ago not to quote an entire source. I simply wrote it quickly without checking it. -
The second generation Italians I grew up with spoke flawless English, but retained an Italian identity. Many of their children married non-Italians, and their offspring, the fourth generation, are in their early to mid teens. Most cannot speak or understand Italian, and you will not find many guys named Luigi in that generation.

Members Only Healthcare - preventitive healthcare
WarBicycle replied to pfezziwig's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
A member only health care is the first step towards private health care. Remember Sunday shopping? It started with only a small bit of the store being open in the early 1980's; it took less than ten years for the entire store was open for business. Same approach was taken when it comes to smoking. In the early 1980's the restrictions were limited; today you cannot even smoke in your own car if there are children in it in some parts of the country. The big losers in a country with public health care are the insurance companies. Should the insurance companies get their way our health care system will be quietly eroded over the next decade or more until it no longer exists. I was once a member of my industry's Political Action Committee. A Member of Parliament once told me that the insurance companies have been lobbying politicians for decades to put pressure on the provinces to put restrictions on senior citizens driver’s licenses limiting them to driving within a few mile radius of where they live. Despite the majority of seniors having good driving records compared to 18 to 25 year olds, the insurance industry's concern was the cost of medical expenses. A young person involved in a minor mishap would cost the insurance company very little, while a senior involve in a similar accident could cost them hundreds of thousands of dollars. Eventually, insurance companies will get their way because they never quit lobbying
