Is Canada's Science Minister a creationalist?
Alta4ever replied to Chuck U. Farlie's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
What does gods rib look like, how specificly did the creation process work? Ever think that god maybe created us through evolution. I am no evangelical either, and I sure am not the "intolerant" one in this conversation either. -

And with an interest rate of 12% it would only take six years double and deficit owing. So in six short years any amount of loans the that country had would have doubled in size. So the only way to have gotten out from under trudeau during those economic times was to have paid the deficit off in ful the first year mulrooney took over the government.

Would the NDP really want me an anti unionist to join thier party? And why would I want to be in a prty that I have absolutly nothing in common with? A political party is a political organization that seeks to attain and maintain political power within government, usually by participating in electoral campaigns. Parties often espouse an expressed ideology or vision bolstered by a written platform with specific goals, coalition among disparate interests. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_party To accommodate left of centre veiws in a right of centre party would mean the party base would dissapear. This was the lession of Dion he moved the liberals from centre left to far left, and what happened the much of the party was alienated and stayed home on election day.

My veiws on evolution are religious but I don't beleive the literal story of genesis. It was the journalist who brought in the word creationist. -

He was the validictorian of his class he took science realted courses in University, you don't do that and have a poor understanding of science. Mr. Dancer this has been a smear, he has held this post since october, their have been al kinds of funding anouncements to improve and increase reseach facilities for the post secondary instatutions in this country, no stings about what was to be reseached. Funds have been alocated "green" research, as with many other important research fields. This has been all about playing politics, not about what is actually happening. -

Potentially all medical reseach can be lifesaving, but can we afford to fund it all? -

M.Dancer, Goodyear never has said that he was a creationist. He has been painted in a smear because a few in the research community don't like having their funding cut. -

Maurizio Bevilacqua Who held the post was a Roman catholic yet he wasn't asked this quetion why not? Do I need to post the list of Liberals that held this post that had religious leanings but yet no question on this to them? This is nothing but a smear. -

So studing Biomechanics isn't science, doesn't constitute a science background. Goodyear was raised and educated in Cambridge. After high school he attended the University of Waterloo, studyng in Biomechanics and Psychology, but left without completing a degree. He afterwards attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where he graduated cum laude, was class president, and valedictorian. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gary_Goodyear What makes no sense is this drive by smear this is absolute crap. -

My asertation is that bush could memorize a speech and devate from it something you you um ah um ah idoit obama is showing he is incapable of. When he said at the saddleback form that "it was above his pay grade" it showed just how ameture he is. Obama is Jimmy carter all over again, he has style but no real substance. Hell he even blames the people who received the bonuses from AIG, instead of his own administration who is responsible handing out the money. He is on a witch hunt against his own citzens instead of the problems his own administration is causing. -
Brankrupcy laws are as fair as they get keep in mind that the debts usually outstrip the assets so no one gets everything they think they deserve. Everyone gets screwed. Whe will you union peole learn you can't get blood from a stne the fact that something was offered is better then getting nothing, but that is something lost on unions isn't. Just think of the time that is being wasted by these people who will likely get nothing more then what was offered, and still have to find work. This will not change between today and tomorrow, so why waste the time and resources.
