  1. Image makeover for Alberta NDP Albertans need to join the rest of the Canadian family, and there would be no better way of showing it than voting for the New Democrats.
  2. Leaders spend aimless summer If this keeps up Jack Layton and the New Democrats will win by default just for showing up.
  3. NDP prepares for summer caucus meeting Finally something of interest will begin to happen in Ottawa.
  4. Sorry for attending fundraiser: Speaker My goodness. Where does they get these people?
  5. Lurching Ferries, Lurching Liberals Perhaps it is time to rid Canada of all US CEOs.
  6. New B.C. ferries to be built by company used by Hitler? Campbell supports Hitler over workers in BC.
  7. News update: Aug. 30 Shipping construction of the BC Ferries overseas destroying Liberals re-election chances.
  8. Former bank manager pleads guilty to $16-million fraud Another shinning example of Canada's corporate elite at work.
  9. Harris and the Greens, like Harper and the Conservatives, once they find out what they are really all about, Canadians will run in the opposite direction. The only reason the mainstream press gave the Greens any publicity was because of their potential to damage the NDP. Now that the cat is out of the bag, the Greeen leader is a right winger, the potential for the Greens will now come at Harper's expense.
  10. Let's cut the BS. The Sierra club, Greenpeace and other major environmental organizations found the Greens wanting on the environment and endorsed Jack Layton's New DCemocrats in the last election. Harris is a bit of a buffoon. Last election Harris also stated he will win the moon and elect MPs, and our mainstream press including Ipsos-Reid jumped on the Green fantasyland bandwagon, or doesn't anyone remember that. Maybe you conveniently forget these things, eh?
  11. I think it is a rare anytime. Maybe only when we are faced with a big crisis do exceptional leaders surface. I found politics fascinating when Trudeau and Levesque were around. Since then well..........you know the rest of the story.
  12. August 30, 2004 He's right up there with BC's Premier Cambell. What a bunch of stumblebums we have for elected leaders these days. Maybe democracy isn't all it's cracked up to be.
  13. Judging of judges fails the test Touchy subject it seems. I think the notwithstanding clause should be removed or abolished.
  14. Actually the real failures, and major embarassments to Canada are our CEOs:  Higher, faster, stronger: Our CEOs don't measure up
  15. Harper vanishes from view I think Chantal has nailed it this time. There is no way Harper has the people skills to become prime minister. Harper should quit while he is ahead, because the Conservatives will his leadership will get less votes and seats the next time around.
  16. Our Canadian athletes are definitely to be congratulated however the blame for their poor showing can be laid squarely at the foot of the Greens and the Conservatives with their obsession to cutting taxes.
  17. The Greens, with their right wing leader, who barely held onto his leadership, will damage the Conservative chances in the next federal election.
  18. Article Nightmare scenario for Bush in New York this week - 100,000 people demonstrating against what Bush represents.
  19. Article If one country is caught spying on another country, should the country being spied upon break off diplomatic relations with the spying country? I believe they should.
  20. Green Party leader defeats challengers Now the truth is coming about what the Greens are really all about. And the reality is they are too right wing for most Canadians! Better at least that we smoke out all these charlatans, whether they be Green or Conservatives. Right wingers always try to disguse what their policies are. I guess they don't feel they will get much support being honest about what they represent.
  21. Article Another Internet myth exploded.
  22. I kinda go along with WK's comments:
  23. Of course they make sense. These ideas are coming from the poor, or people who care about the plight of the poor. There is no Fraser Institute comments here - I was just suggesting we stop listening to groups like that whose ideas will only make matters better for the rich at the poor's expense.
  24. N.Y. police arrest two men in alleged bomb plot Jeez, what a sorry bunch of morons, excuse me Ms Parrish, idiots, the US Administration, are!
