  1. They try to bully. Most that I've met tend to be simpering wimps and pussies though so it's pretty hard to bully from a position of wimpiness. As soon as they realize they've crossed the line and are in peril of having their teeth shoved so far down their throat they have to reach up their arse to brush them, they tend to fade like a bad dream.
  2. Cite please. Waiting, waiting, waiting patiently...again.

  4. Me, you know nothing about me yet when I said I couldn't find anything about it you made a remark about denial. I would have thought you would know that I admit when I'm wrong. If I were a person who would not admit when I'm wrong then that could be seen as denial.
  5. Thank you. Now isn't that far more productive than just attributing something to someone you know nothing about?
  6. You know what Canadien, you might and very well could be worth talking to if you could just get over your very annoying habit of claiming to know what everyone else is thinking and feeling. I put it to you that you actually don't know shit about what other posters are thinking and are merely projecting your desire upon them. For instance you've claimed that I hate you and French people, how wrong you are. The truth is that I dislike French people in a general sort of way, if I hated them I very much doubt that I would have married a woman from Quebec. Hate is something I most definitely do not feel towards them. In fact I do not hate anyone or anything. Hate is the most powerfull word in our language and the misuse/free use of this word has caused many problems over a great deal of time. If one understands this simple concept then one realizes how absurd it is to toss the word around so casually.
  7. How hard is it for you to deliberately be so dense? Did I not just say that I searched for some info on the Danish pastry thing and came up with nothing, therefore it could be an urban legend. Or are you just comprehension challenged today? Here's a deal for you, since I came up with nothing on this how bout you give it a shot and enlighten us with your findings? I freely admit that I could find nothing on it.
  8. Oh how very true. They also choose to demonstrate this success with actions such as road blocks and occupations, the standard hallmark of the thought process that leads to success. Such as the recent one in Oka. You know, where they rammed police cars with trucks and set up a road block because the police had the infinite gall to arrest one of them for excessive speed and intoxication in a motor vehicle.
  9. How astute of you to figure that out right after I just said that very thing, impressive! As for the whole Danish thing, I simply didn't question the claim, but as Dancer pointed out, after doing a little research I can't find anything at all to back it up. Possibly an urban legend? Now we see the Iranians acting in just as childish a manner, not really good company to keep I'm thinking.
  10. That was an excellent post by Kimmie. Now, for all those who don't know but feel they should comment anyway. Albertans do tend to put in the hours and work hard. I moved here from Southern Ontario just over two years ago, one big thing I had to get used to was the hours we work. My friend recently moved here and they said the same thing, they had to get used to working more. On average I work six days a week a minimum of ten hours a day, twelve and fourteen hour days are not unusual at all. Of course the usual crowd loves to chime in with their snide and condescending remarks about how they work just as much when they have no idea how life is and how things work in Alberta. I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you wish to comment on life in Alberta then get your ass out here and experience it, unless you're afraid of hard work that is. Chances are that if you did experience life in Alberta you wouldn't want to go back to where you came from.
  11. So by your logic refusing to join an American war in Iraq can be equated to the WWI conflict? That has to be one of the most stupid things I've heard in a long time, did you actually sit there and try to come up with the most irrelevant point possible? If so, well, congratulations, you succeeded. Now if you'll excuse me I have to run down to A&W so I can get some Freedom Fries, then I have to pick up a loaf of Freedom Bread to have with my supper, might also have a nice bottle of Freedom Wine with it as well.
  12. Can you show me where I ever said any such thing? Nope, you can't because I didn't. Intelligent debate is not composed of you making things up because you don't like the unpleasant truth that George made himself a laughing stock with his little tantrum. Face facts, his little fit was ridiculous and exceedingly childish, gotta give the Texas clown credit though, it was the funniest damn thing any leader has ever said. The fact that he was dead serious made it even funnier. Oops, sorry, my mistake. It was Congress that voted to change the names of not only French Fries but also French Toast. I guess its better when an entire group shows what a bunch of idiots they are. I think my confusion came from the TV interview with Bush where he stated that the name would now be Freedom Fries. So it wasn't just George, Congress got in on the pouting and foot stomping too. If I had been an American I believe I would have been exceedingly embarrassed by the whole farce.
  13. Thats not a really good comparison actually. Here in Canada it was a few strident nut jobs calling for a boycot. In America it was the actual leader of the country throwing a hissy fit and demonstrating his childishness.
  14. The patch is actually a very small area of Alberta, not as the media would sugest at all. When going only by what the media reports one gets the impression that the patch is about half of Alberta, it just aint so. And...yes...the media do lie quite often, either by omission or slanting the facts in a certain way. surely you aren't so naive as to believe the media are the pinnacle of honesty? I just got back from a trip to golden B.C. yesterday, it was about a five hour drive. All the way I was thanking my lucky stars that I decided to leave Ontario and come to Alberta. Ontario is without a doubt a beautifull province but it still doesn't come close to comparing with the beauty of Alberta. As was pointed out previously, Ontario has far greater environmental problems than Alberta. I can still remember the stink in the air and the haze obscuring the horizon as I would drive down the 400 towards Toronto the god forsaken. Nothing like that here, just rolling prairies rising to meet the foothills and in turn the mountains. My suggestion to posters who want to criticize Alberta is that they actually come here and experience it for themselves. I honestly believe they would leave with a different opinion from the one they arrived with.
  15. You really are a prat. Let him speak, he has as much right as you to say what is on his mind. If you hate that idea then just shut up, there, how does it feel when someone tries to censor you?
  16. No way!!! You mean just like we've been doing for years and years already! Wow!!! What a shocker!!!
  17. I'll admit it, no problem. You do provide a graphic example of the type of thinking religious beliefs can produce in some people.
  18. So what you are saying is that you enjoy jumping on the bandwagon. It really is ironic that someone with such a poor grasp of the English language such as yourself has the nerve to comment on anothers usage. Hypocrisy has seldom been so graphically displayed. Sure, I admit it, for the most part I do not like French people, never have and most likely never will. That is not the reason I like to play with you though. Its actually because I can spot an idiot a mile away and they are very easy prey, most amusing, such as yourself. Now, if you insist on responding at least attempt to do so in a form that is recognized as a legitimate language. Perhaps you should refrain from commenting on others usage of the language until you learn to speak it yourself.
  19. Now look at that will you! All of a sudden you know what people think! Amazing! You were doing so well for a little while, you were almost posting in legible fashon and then you start talking about Celine and lapse into gibberish again. What I find hard to understand is the fact that you criticize others for their grammer and sentence structure whilst posting a garbled mess of your own. Please tell me that you didn't attend University because if you actually did it merely afirms the supposition that you can attend and receive a degree while being an imbecile.
  20. What a silly idea. If we did that we wouldn't have the challenged ones such as yourself to "debate" with. Where would the fun be in that? The world needs a certain amount of idiots simply for the amusement value they offer.
  21. Now thats better than your last attempt. However...instead of saying "are a little hatefull man" you should try"a hatefull little man". Its just better sentence structure, you did mention that you are University educated didn't you? What on earth are they teaching now days when university graduates don't even know how to speak and write English correctly? You must be from Quebec I guess. This is just too easy, gotta love it when you get a rube who is so readily baited.
  22. I find some McCartney to be rather bland, but he has done some very good work as well. The main point is his significance, he wields a huge amount of influence, definitely unmatched by any artist from Quebec. For this dick to even suggest that the same degree of attention be paid to Quebecois artists merely illustrates his delusional world view. Please don't mention the horse faced woman to me, I simply can not stand the insipid pap she peddles as music.
  23. Maybe Quebec artists would get the same degree of attention if they exhibited the same degree of talent and significance. This is just another example of the seemingly never ending stream of whining that emanates from that Province, and they wonder why so many Canadians consider them to be nothing more than a bunch of wankers.
  24. Does anyone else see the magnificent irony inherent in these quotes?
  25. She sure is a harsh and demanding slave mistress. You sound like a hard core Quebecois.
