  1. well you're welcome to your opinion. but Obama wasn't a tyrant attempting to subvert democracy and install the Trump family as a ruling autocracy. i've well publicized on this forum that i think Trump is an idiot and not that smart but i never really cared much either way. but once he started subverting the senate by using temporary administration officials and refusing to allow those officials to supply information to a duly elected congress, then he needs to go. the government is the peoples business, its not owned by politicians. its like if i hired a manager for one of my businesses and he started hiring his own cronies, telling me everything was going great, but never letting me see the books. out. nothing else matters.
  2. more personal attacks. no facts.
  3. but i'd also point out that this is the "was the election hacked?" thread and not the "whining about the muller investigation" thread. all of those election court cases only required ONE person with verifiable evidence to stand in front of a judge and say it. ONE. didn't happen. ONE.
  4. i stand corrected on McCabe. i'd forgotten about activities that he disputes and has never been charged with but was fired for all the same and possibly more. man, i get what you're saying... but previous presidents have been hung out to dry for far less than being associated with felons and not calling them out. way worse. Trump is off the charts. that will hang over him. no one needs to watch tv or read the paper to think that. thats life. and people were sent to jail. period. you bring up "white collar crime" Manafort. still a felon. Roger lied and attempted to coerce witnesses. felon. Flynn admitted guilt. nobody admits guilt who is not guilty. felon. Cohen, Papadopoulos, Pinedo, van der Zwaan, Gates... tried by a jury of their piers in a country of laws. felons. you seem to lean on the liberal concept of just punishment. trump wasn't impeached given the muller investigation. so nothing to worry about except some bad perception, right? not worth so much whining.
  5. ONE guy was caught buffing up evidence that would lead to the yet another FISA warrant on Carter Page. "Charging documents filed Friday say Clinesmith altered an email he received in June 2017 from another government agency to say that Page was “not a source” for that agency, then forwarded it along to a colleague. The document does not say which agency, but Page has publicly said that he had worked as a source for the CIA." Former FBI lawyer pleads guilty to altering document during Russia probe note... ONE guy. McCabe was fired without reason. Its true that Trump will never be fully exonerated but not for the reasons you list. He will never be exonerated because he was not forthcoming and entirely unable to call out any of the 34 individuals and 3 Russian businesses entities that were indicted. In fact, he did everything he could to foil those indictments and deny the facts that were provided. keep in mind, a number of those individuals went to jail based on the preponderance of truth decided on by a jury of their peers. Trump was not found guilty of anything. but yeah, doesn't look good for him. 34 individuals indicted... not a "witch hunt".
  6. omg... tell me, how many children do you know got chickenpox this year? mumps? measles? polio? or are those the "good vaccines"? or did those diseases just die off on their own without human intervention? just curious. 2.1 million people have died from covid. do the math. i'll take the chance for you. i'll be the one participating in herd immunity that may save your life. ok?
  7. except that... they didn't "cancel" anything. they delayed for review. if they end up not going forward with something similar in the near future then you can come back and claim your were correct.
  8. well, i applaud you for providing a definition of the word for the sake of this conversation. as most people who use dog whistle words can't and its impossible to have a rational conversation without agreement on the meaning of words. i'm curious how the "Dems" do these things then? namely: how do they have "absolute control" over the media? i agree that media is biased but there appears as much bias at Fox News as any other. how do they use the FBI & CIA? during the Trump administration, the president had full control of those branches of government. he could have fired everyone. did he fail there? do you have proof that the democratic party is in some way controlling BLM? when you talk about racial characteristics are you talking about white nationalists? who have they thrown in jail for "crossing the party"? feel free to cite as necessary your claims (Fox "opionion" hosts don't count). and i'll just keep the "traditional" meaning of the word fascist, thank you. since, if its going to mean something different to everyone then its going to be impossible to hold any kind of conversation at all.
  9. if it happened then they were able to hide this mass fraud from the most powerful intelligence apparatus on the planet. if the democrats are that smart then i'd suggest becoming a democrat! and i love the old "witch hunt" dog whistle! ALL police work is a "witch hunt". the problem is that criminals don't simply march into police stations and admit their gilt!
  10. Trump waited 18 months before assigning the job to a meteorologist... apparently he didn't do a very good job. but thats from the American Association for the Advancement of Science. ‘Very disappointed.’ Trump’s science adviser has left U.S. researchers wanting more
  11. what do you mean by "liberal? do you mean: "Liberalism is a political and moral philosophy based on liberty, consent of the governed and equality before the law.[1][2][3] Liberals espouse a wide array of views depending on their understanding of these principles, but they generally support free markets, free trade, limited government, individual rights (including civil rights and human rights), capitalism, democracy, secularism, gender equality, racial equality, internationalism, freedom of speech, freedom of the press and freedom of religion." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberalism
  12. funny that you pull the first paragraph from the WP... but refrain from continuing with the details of the article. “On January 14, 2021, HHS announced forthcoming Practice Guidelines for the Administration of Buprenorphine for Treating Opioid Use Disorder,” the White House’s drug policy office said in a message obtained by The Washington Post. “Unfortunately, the announcement was made prematurely. Therefore, the Guidelines previously announced cannot be issued at this time.” The Biden administration also vowed to continue working to “increase access to buprenorphine, reduce overdose rates and save lives” in the announcement, which was also posted on the website of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. The Trump administration’s plan was plagued by legal and operational problems, including a failure to get necessary clearance from the White House budget office, said two officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss it. “The Biden-Harris administration absolutely supports broader access to medication-based treatment for opioid use disorder, and is working to find ways to lift burdensome restrictions on medications for opioid use disorder treatment,” said a spokesperson for the White House’s drug policy office. so, could be they just pulled to repackage as their own. or maybe it needs more work. more detail would be required before making such a judgement.
  13. just pointing out that your views are based on beliefs and not facts. so rational discussion with you is pointless, particularly since one who argues on beliefs are able to change the state of those beliefs freely as necessary to support their commentary.
  14. the difference is that Mackey was specifically instructing people in order to make them think they voted, when they did not. which is against the law. Twitter was not instructing people. it could be argued that they were being biased in the information that they provided. which is not against the law. but hey, blame Regan as he appointed the commissioners who trashed the FCC Fairness Doctrine. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FCC_fairness_doctrine
  15. how did he cheat? provide evidence that has been verified by a court of law from a nation of laws.
  16. this has been discussed... the Biden administration has frozen ALL last minute Trump regulations for review. it was not targeted and would be impossible to do so. this is regular management of any organization.
  17. i love how those with extreme "right-wing" views call... well, everybody who isn't extreme "right-wing", extreme "right-wing". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Far-right_politics "Far-right politics, also referred to as the extreme right or right-wing extremism, are politics further on the right of the left–right political spectrum than the standard political right, particularly in terms of anti-communist, authoritarian, extremist nationalist and nativist ideologies and tendencies." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascism "Fascism is a form of far-right, authoritarian ultranationalism"
  18. so we're in agreement that Trump lost the election. good stuff.
  19. ok, get the personal attacks out of your system and move on.
  20. i stand corrected... i didn't realize that so much oil gets imported just to be processed and exported again. https://www.api.org/news-policy-and-issues/blog/2018/06/14/why-the-us-must-import-and-export-oil the US gulf coast gets all they need at the moment. now that alberta has been convinced to buy the project then its only really an issue for the alberta government now. the benefits to the US population are debatable. the loss to alberta is apparent. but this information shows how nuanced and complex these issues are. this detail provides that people aren't going to be oil-less in north america anytime soon so any passion about the oil economy disappearing is misguided. again, except in alberta where some thought that $100 barrel oil was going to last forever... and now they are left to beg for a lousy $2 a barrel more.
  21. nobody said oil was going to be completely displaced. or displaced significantly in the near future. but you seem to be arguing something other than US politics here. not sure what the point is, the US is not an oil exporter so if one were American then you'd think that restricting imports and finding a way to circumvent that need in order to restrict imports would be a good thing as every barrel of oil coming in is money going out. i didn't say it was a good thing for the alberta economy... its not. but alberta has had decades to save money in good times and diversify its economy. but it didn't. and now i'm off topic as well.
  22. you don't get it. its financial titans fighting and oil is losing. there was plenty of public concern about global warming for decades and the titans didn't care. but now after numerous calamities in hurricane ally hitting the insurance and banking sectors and others, a glut in oil reserves forcing oil prices lower and additional capacity from green energy coming on, then this project is dead in the water. it was that way long before the Trump administration.
  23. oops. didn't happen. no pardons for the capitol rioters. all going to jail.
  24. https://www.politico.com/news/2021/01/25/dominion-voting-system-giuliani-election-462122 this is where the shit gets real. guaranteed Giuliani, Powell and others will be "making statements" enforced by judges that they had no evidence of voter fraud by voting machine companies. its coming. GUARANTEED.
  25. trump never offered his hotel to national guard troops to stay biden was responsible for how the national guard were housed in the capitol? not. keystone is dead. the green economy is here. political parties don't make decisions like that. business does. and those businesses in the green economy, the insurance industry, banking etc etc have decided that oil is dead. daca is real. assholes will have to deal with it. the dreaded caravans are not at the border. funny that. there is a 60 day freeze for review on all regulatory orders from the previous administration. there is no specific target. makes sense. deal with it. hater of transgender. we get it. "womens sports are destroyed"? come on. get a life. have to wear a mask. get used to it. covid denier. the worst kind of stupid human. again, rash generalization of nuanced response. lies to cops. promotes arresting politicians that have not broken any laws. same as russia. ps. finished with selling stuff. i get it.
