  1. The "case" you have apparently "made" apparently involves Jews marching into the sea. I suppose that's one way to solve the "Jewish question," eh?
  2. Oh nonsense. Pedophiles almost always pick one gender, and very few deviate (excuse the pun). Approximately 1/3 of male pedophiles pick boys. I don't have time to dig up the stat, but it's readily available on the net. Yet only 2-3% of males are homos.
  3. I take it he just hasn't started yet?
  4. No, they see that a lot of their time is taken up fighting it.
  5. Yeah, yeah, I know...they're all just rednecks and "bigots." The trouble is that they all seem to have those strings of letters and such after their names...must make it hard to get in an' out of dodge pickups without slamming them in the door... 6. Would you care to test your knowledge against mine?
  7. You would have preferred that they meekly line up and trudge into the sea?
  8. Sure, but that's because it takes a large hunk of trouble off their plate and deposits it on someone else's plate.
  9. Not really, considering that a hugely disproportionate number of pedophiles are homos.
  10. This argument has no merit. There are murderers in the world too, so we're supposed to "accept it?" Logic 101...no need to say thanks!
  11. No they didn't. Not your federal taxes.
  12. War? They don't have a clue.
  13. He should spend more time defending his now-under-attack linguistic theories and less time pontificating about things he knows nothing about. What an ass.
  14. This is what Theodore Dalrymple calls "sociological history," as blissfully ahistorical as heroic history, only on the other side of the spectrum. In sociological history, a long-lived hangover from the deconstructive 60s, everything in whitey's imperial history is wrong...sociological history's cloying and nonsensical revisionism has or had a place in grade 12 history class I suppose, lest anyone enters the mainstream too enamoured of imperialism, but it has no place in any discussion more academic than a late night beer slosh among drunk freshmen. There's no "shame" in dragging savages out of the stone age and setting them up with the conveniences of modern living. If they liked the stone age so damned much, they could have and would have stayed there. In fact, I don't seem to hear a great clamour for a return to the sylvan harmony of ripping each other's hair out by the roots and driving herds of buffalo over cliffs in an as yet undiscovered secret ceremony of the natural stewardship we hear so much about.
  15. Trying to envision how the queen deals with fishless meals and why MPs have neither shoes nor brains.
  16. You forget you're talking to someone in the terminal stages of BDS
  17. Actually, yes. In fact, not only would houses cost less, but we wouldn't be relying on immigration to replace ourselves.
  18. So is pedophilia, but that doesn't make it normal, and it doesn't mean we should assault kids with it.
  19. QUOTE(Agaric @ Oct 18 2007, 11:42 PM) So ur not going to post an article about this? Hear hear. I can't think of anything that lowers the tone quite as much as the deliberate piecemeal execution of the English language. This ain't grade nine.
  20. That is so utterly lame I can't believe anyone would actually post it.
  21. The EU is clearly out of control. Even Belgium itself, the seat of EU "power" is in a political crisis which threatens to split Belgium in two. Yet the Eurocrats, after being soundly defeated in their last bid for a constitution, have managed to bluster another one together and are trying to ram it through without referenda. It may serve some limited purpose as an economic union, but no-one wants a political union. And unfortunately that's what the Eurocrats have their sights set on.
  22. I worked in Center Block in 94. Even then I was astounded at the sheer number of panhandlers when I walked to the Hill every morning. I came there from Winnipeg, and New Delhi before that, and spent a summer in Gastown a ways back, and I've been around the third world a few times, so it's not like panhandlers were unknown to me before that, but I've never seen so many in Canada as I did in Ottawa. I can certainly see how a petite 60ish woman would be scared.
  23. This is a perfect example, I think, of the blind lemminglike radical tolerance that may end up destroying this country. A complete failure to distinguish between the components and the totality of Canada. This is the mindset of "Hotel Canada," only reframed as a set of laws instead, as if Canada is merely a set of communes under an umbrella of laws, with no other identity or loyalty. Its the recipe for building a nicely aired pile of tinder in the middle of a torchlit procession, and it can struggle along for a time, as long as there is a hegemonic soft power containment. When the factions in this utopian vision start to achieve numerical parity, just watch what happens.
  24. Kind of exclusionary of you to talk about "them" like that too. Do you feel apart from "them"? Shouldn't you be holding hands with "them" and singing "We are the world?" And why would you feel the need to enquire about the "n" word; the word that no one dare speak its name, unless of course one is a rappa, in which case one's vocabulary is confined to it? And no, the anti-war people are not "with" the terrorists, but the vast majority (there I go generalizing again on the basis of a mere 75-90%) are useful fools for the true enemy - the "moderate" Muslims like CAIR.
  25. Canadians are to blame too! We ship it there, they poison it and send it back...if we would stop sending it, they'd be too busy trying to feed themselves to have the time to be dropping poison in our dogfood. If I were a dog, I'd dogcott China and Canada both.
