The climate is changing, it happens all the time. I have thought of a name for this event and believe the word weather may catch on best. Yes the world is changing, always has done always will so what is the point of this arguement dragging on and on? We as a species cannot stop it or slow it, the challenge is to survive it. Does it really matter how it started or who may or may not be speeding it up? All this waste of time and energy is moving the deck chairs on the Titanic, start launching lifeboats instead.........

Reality intruding perhaps? "It can't happen here" is always the accepted mantra before it does. Now I know the feeling my Irish cousins lived with for years. They told some horrendous stories of what the almighty British army did to them. They had the bad luck to be Catholic in Northern Ireland. No you don't know what your Irish cousins lived with. What horrendous things did the army do to them then, let me guess --well nothing really but they know a man who was told something by someone who heard it from someone who read it in a paper-- they think.........

Or alternatively everyone who believes in a ?god is in for a real disapoinment on their death bed, either there is no god or even worse they have been following the wrong one.......

And to think, he only became Labour Leader because the previous guy (who was also charismatic and popular) suddenly died. What would have been.... Tony Blair stepping into the spotlight now!! How suspect is that then. Charismatic popular leader dies and up steps a Mr T. Blair, hmmmm. Conspiracy theory starting up then? And Brown will be no different. He has been at the very center of British government since the outset and was the mastermind of Blairs leadership. Labour was very lucky that they inherited a country with sound fiscal policy from the conservatives, all they have done is follow that lead and raise taxes hugely onto the workforce. Gordon Brown has taken £100 bilion in taxes from the pension funds since being Chancellor and as a result has destroyed many peoples pensions, not a trusty politician........

Do you have evidence that a person named Noah built anything at all or even existed? The Sahara used to be a fertile land, are you advocating that we stop global warming and keep it as a desert. The earth changes, always has done always will, get over it. There is NO chance of anything we do as a species that will stop or slow the system, the question is what we do about it. If the sea level rises so what, do you think that the people who live by the sea will sit there as it slowly gets above their knees? They will move, it is where they go that should be answered. It is only in recent geological times that the earth had frozen poles at all so the norm is for the poles to be ice free. Forget climate change it is a false arguement, we should be solving the results of change not trying a futile attempt to halt it. We are wasting time and arguing our way over nothing into extiction.

Precisely why, even if you don't believe in global warming, people should be driving less. Why not kill two birds with one stone? I have read that the average American won't walk more than 200 yards from their car for something. If there is the same problem in Canada how are people going to drive less......

The planet has changed, is changing and will continue to change. It is up to us as a species,along with all the others to change with it. Adapt or die, simple choice really, always has been. Why are we wasting our intellect debating something that will happen whether we want it to or not? Either we change and adapt to the new world or sometime in the future something else will be digging up our fossils, after all the end result of most life is extiction.......
