The Liberals always campaign to the Left and Govern from the right.. Liberals to remove the GST...... Liberals to Fight FTA..... Liberals to stop NAFTA... Liberals against the combat mission in Afghanistan... Liberals to Secure Workers Wages/Vacationpay ... Liberals for the environment..... Edited... I took a look at an Environmental Site..... http://blogs.greenpeace.ca/2008/05/12/cana...about-ge-foods/ Greenpeace If anyone believe the Liberals would be better for the environment than the Conservatives, they should ask themselves why it is the Liberals, including Dion, vote against the environment EVERY SINGLE TIME.

This article you linked sets off all the alarm bells. Definitely cause for concern. Mob Connections, Organized Crime, Murder, Outlaw Bikers, Hells Angels and their affliate Rockers, and a man who believes while trying to help the police says in no uncertain terms... "SHE MIGHT HAVE BETRAYED THOSE CONFIDENCES AS THEIR RELATIONSHIP FELL APART." You can't write a better script.

Clearly there is room for CPC supporters to give each other a warm fuzzy hug, but have no problem, throwing stones of their own. This is the hypocraZy that I think makes it so much fun for others to turn the needle around and give them a little pin prick. And deservingly so. Bernier has been a disappointment on many occasions as an MP and as a Cabinet Minister. With regards to ones association with Outlaw bikers.... It is just not that easy to walk away. Once in, you in, and if you have been close to very Recent Murders, and activities, then there is EVERY reason to suggest that a proper vetting occur. It would be better to find her not on the take, or being extorted by outlaw bikers for information. You have little idea, how clean her break from the Bikers were. The coincidence of her being tied to outlaw bikers and him being seen with them should be enough for cause for concern. And that doesn't suggest that anything is wrong or out of the ordinary. It is just common sense. Something the CPC abandon everytime they are under the microscope.
-
Are you suggesting that Bernier and the Hells Angels will do the dirty work for the CPC?

This flip flop, which happens to have been on the minds of the National Post as well.... Bad Policy now Good Policy

Interesting article in the Globe and Mail. Seems Dion has had a difficult time making up his mind. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/sto...PStory/National

Human rights agency trying to shut down charities
madmax replied to Argus's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
You can express your views.... Doesn't seem like this charity can function without a handout from the government. When receiving government funding, follow government legislation and the human rights code. A code that all employers must follow. You shouldn't violate the legislation. The Rule of law. -
I would be surprised if the Quebec Media are portraying it like the spin you received. Especially since the Quebec Media have been the target of assasination by the Hells Angels.

Keep the pressure on. The Liberals only respond to pressure. -

Whose business is it? -
Don't worry, they won't deal with it directly or any other matter, different then any other government. Remember, Mulroney was plagued with Corruption and paid the price. Chretian era Liberals hid the corruption for decades and finally paid the price. The CPC does damage control. Defending Association to Outlaw bikers, while claiming to get tough on crime or be open and transparant.... Well, all those flyers that arrive at the door telling us about their tough policy, is not going to offset the Medias field day with the story. It has all the elements to sell copy. CRIME!!! A Beautiful Woman POLITICS!!! Juicy, Juicy Stuff....
-
I think it is pretty straightforward. She was involved in more then one Outlaw biker gang. SHe is tied to Mom Boucher, one of the most notorious of Hells Angels. Her ex Boyfriend was executed. She was involved with Rock Machine... Nope, just because she is on the arm of a Quebec MP and Cabinet Minister is no reason to look into the matter. DUH!!!! I wouldn't be surprised to discover that Bernier is a helpless Dupe. But if he is more involved, is this that much different then the CPC candidate who was involved in an Autotheft Ring? It is not unusual for corrupt people to want to infiltrate power. I think it would be prudent of the current government to realize that open and transparent, means, keeping themselves squeeky clean, and letting the public know that if they are going to be tough on Crime, that means not letting those with ties to organized crime through the front door. Right, Ties to Organised crime, associated to convicted criminals of Outlaw Bikers. Why does the CPC defend the undefendable to a fault. Bernier will be vindicated or sacrificed depending on his association. While it is not unreasonable to assume that at some point a politician might shake the hand of an Outlaw biker unknowingly, I cannot believe for a minute that Bernier didn't know the background of his Girlfriend, or the people she associates with.

I knew you could post without an insult. It's been awhile. And a reasonable view of Political concerns to boot.

Sounds to me like you have already made up your mind. 1) Do you have an ipod? 2) Do you have a computer? 3) Do you have a Cell Phone? 4) Are the clothes you wear purchased here, or off shore? 5) Have you ever grown up in farming communities where you grow your own? 6) Where do you live, what kind of home, how big? Are the Lights off, are their streetlights? 7) Do you not use ANY carbon emission vehicles. Do you drive, get rides from your parents or friends, or ride a bus? 8) Do you use hydro electric power? How is it generated? 9) Do you know anything of workplace health and safety? 10) Do you know of any the environmental standards that Manufacturers must abide in Canada? 11) What are those standards comparatively, to all the Consumer Goods you purchase. 12) You are a consumer, and your life is based upon consumption, if not, shut off your computer, give it away. One of the most unrecyclable, poorly disposable pieces of equipment people could buy. 13) Environmental movement has had huge periods of strength throughout history, long before the arise of a political party... 14) Does the world you describe you wish to have look like North Korea? Little Hydro electric power, but they are nuclear, little carbon emmissions, and a country that looks completely dark, in Satelite photos. 15) Do you scare people with "the sky is falling" analogies, and fingerpointing for every, flood, tornado, snowslide, rainstorm, extended period of snow, extended period of summer, that this current issue is the result of Global Warming, the effects of which will not be felt for a century.. but fear is a great marketing tool. 16) Do you believe that a TAX shift, that is Revenue Neutral is actually going to solve anything? 17) Shouldn't the environmental movement, be where the action is? CHINA where rapid growth, consumption of raw resources, has put that country into a zone of industrialization not seen since 1800s Europe and 10,000 times the Size. 18) That third world countries are allowed GROWTH in Carbon Emissions.... and you likely support such a model and Market Capitalism. 19) Two Solitudes......Wow a whole different kettle of fish..... Gotcha Welcome to the forum Those 18 points just ignore, you already have the answers to them before you posted. But if you follow some of those posters who know Quebec and are from Quebec, I find, you will be taken off guard by the angle the comments come from. It should keep you off balance enough discovering what those differences are. But that

I don't know about that. You may or may not be correct. But the fact that the Ground Forces are initiating talks, and following the statements of Karzai, Layton, shows that the Army is not "Politically" motivated but practically motivated to achieve its objective. It would be the Lpc/CPC that did not agree with discussion as did many in the Armed Forces. That is no longer the case. 7 years on and something must be done to make practical gains. There is significant information regarding homework and risk assessment. Nothing to suggests the LPC or CPC did ANY of that prior to the commitment to Afghanistan, or more importantly the 1st extension and move to combat operations, infact, it has been posted in the Afghanistan thread, just how incompetent the LPC were in the beginning of the extension, how little they understood what they were signing on to, and then the CPC did the very same.

If one chooses to look, one will find the black market in any commodity, labour included. I am well aware of the labour market conditions in Alberta. It is a great situation to be in, if you are in the Labour pool. Regardless, the size of the Black Market for Labour , expands and contracts with the economy. But it always exists, like any other market force. If you don't know of its existence regardless of the booming nature of the economy, then you don't know where to look or those circles. You are probably honest, law abiding, work in a good environment or provide work in a good environment. This is the norm as many people never see experience or know of the black market in Labour. Do you have an underground Labour market in the Taxi Cab Business? Who is driving in these cabs? Who holds the licences? Productive activity by illegal immigrants without residence status. They may pay income taxes and other taxes, but must remain underground for fear of deportation. No illegal immigrants in Alberta? Mike David00 Welcome to Alberta....

Here is what was said. Your facts are correct. Your opinion, open to discussion.

Confused? He was the Liberal Candidate. Read the Article. Dion Weak. He claims that the GP leader is stronger then Dion. (Scarey thought for Liberals, as Conservatives could well break through in Ontario) Polls say, Harper Strong, Layton Strong, Dion Weak (Likeable, but weak)
-
Just months after running for the Ontario Liberals, This Candidate cites the weakness of Dion as the reason he is bailing out of the party. Coming in 2nd in the Provincial Election he has decided to support the perennial GP candidate who finished a very distant 3rd. How much bleeding will the Liberals suffer under Dion? Ontario is where Liberal Numbers are holding up, is there a small hole in the damn of fortress Ontario? http://www.radioowensound.com/news.php?id=11354 Wasaga Liberal goes Green Written by Mariane McLeod The Simcoe-Grey Liberal candidate in the last provicial election is swinging his support to the Green Party. Steven Fishman says he's fed up with the federal Liberals leaving the Harper Tories in power. Fishman says he is also looking for a party with a stronger leader.

Last Week I was going to post and link the articles about Peter Mckay, the Canadian Forces, Hamid Karzai and his Brother, and the ongoing talks on the ground between the low level Taliban and our troops. Something that became apparent to our forces, who have spent 7.5 years in the country. Talking doesn't necessarily get you anywhere, but not talking ensures that you won't. Canadian Forces have engaged in these talks, knowing that other forces have done just this with mixed results. Regardless, the people of Afghanistan have been saying for years that a dialogue should occur as have the Elected and non elected leaders of the country. So, why am I posting a NEW topic title, when there is another one running? For one thing, the other topic title, looks like it came off of FOX NEWS, or the World Weekly News, or the National Enquirer for Political Junkies. Secondly, it doesn't cover the original articles which are now 5 days old, not worth linking to unless people are really interested, but does let people know that the "one article" from the east coast doesn't say alot, and is not able to uphold the foolish headline of the other post. 3rd, baited headlines like that are trolling, which is often the norm, it just doesn't deliver. For good baiters, see Scribblet and JDobbin. You have to get into the topics before you realize you have been taken hook line and sinker. 4th This whole post can and will be deleted, but is here to suggest another way of creating a topic headline. But, I just don't think it will get the reaction like the Over the Top Headline with "Taliban Jack". The real story is , that there are talks going on between the Canadian Forces and the Taliban. The current government disapproves of this action. However, just months ago, the Harper Government stated they wanted the military to do its job without political intereference. So, the fact that the Military has received from a further commitment from the CPC (with Liberal support) for the extension of the mission, with the opposition of Jack Layton, the military has also adopted a common policy throughout the ages of talking to the other side. Nothing usual in the headlines today. The Government isn't going to stop the Military from talking with the Taliban, regardless of how they feel.

UH, YOU INSURANCE GUYS!!! But will take the "that is unfair" comment as a positive answer.

All those things, and graduated licensing...... I preferred when Motorcycles and service vehicles were the only machines on the road with daytime running lights. People would see the motorcycle from a distance. You could always see the cars, but people often overlooked the Motorbikes, and this was a unique way to recogise that a small vehicle wasn't necessarily far away, like perspective often fools us. But the value of adding running lights to all cars has it merits, and yet still people turn in front of Cars, Motorcycles and tractor trailers... Cell phones, laptops and blackberries on the fly, have created problems of their on in vehicles. Very difficult to use on a Motorcycle Oh yeah, Motorcycle are cheap on fuel and fun.

Could you provide a link for that... thanks in advance.
