  1. Bringing in Kerry would have America, "Under New Management," which helps give a fresh start to revive crediblity and diplomacy having Bush and Co. doing a great job of ruining that through arrogance....that, in and of it's self, is enough to get things moving in the opposite, positive direction. Bush has been a spiral down and would fit in as a weatherman, his predictions never come true....
  2. To have our military in the Mid East was a plus for the American Govt. for obvious reasons. Also the "Iraqi Food for Oil" Program funded the U.N. Weapons inspectors without $1 of American tax payers money. All in all, it was a lot cheaper than this costly war, which they asked for another $25 Billion this week and that is only a small amount of which they need and didn't ask for more until after election time. We've created even more instability, a Mecca for terrorists, they have less jobs, opened up the borders, created more Arabs to hate us, lost too many troops and money, and Rumsfeld "hopes" it works because there is still no plan......
  3. This is the unfortunate conclusion. Saddam was a paper tiger to the world and was surrounded and controlled. There's an obvious reason why Saddam controlled with an Iron Fist, if not, he would have been ousted long ago by the Iraqi's. There's an obvious hatred between the 3 Muslim groups and he kept order through his torturous tactics and spread fear for anyone to rise up (like they are doing to the U.S. now). Perhaps not a bad idea to work out a deal with Saddam to come back and rule them (will never happen but, probably the best solution.) The U.S. has now been exposed in Iraq through battle and not practicing what it preaches (tortures). The tortures were the last of Bush's excuses for going to war with Iraq about how there would be no more of Saddam's ability to do this to his own people. Another black-eye along with no WMD and and no link to Al Qaeda and not getting Iraq's oil to pay the debt. Time for new leadership to straighten Bush's war up.
  4. I don't recall much terrorism coming from Iraq until after we invaded. Now the brutal acts caused by Saddam is being duplicated and hanous depictions of Muslims being in nude and provactively humiliating manners by our own forces coming from higher commands. Lets not forget about the 3 Muslim groups within Iraq who hate each other and we're trying to "democratize" them...I smell a civil war. This country will not be recovering anytime soon while our money keeps flowing in their and our soldiers keep on dying due to the poor planning and ability of this administration to get proper funds and foreign troops to pay for this while we have poverty, etc in our own country. Also recall that this administration felt very strongly against having Iraq pay the debt back with their extremely rich oil wealth.........what a crock of leadership here!
  5. Yep, everything except for the right thing which is, pulling out of the settlements. Remember, this is against the U.N.; however, we have not backed it and have not done much to enforce it like we have in Iraq. Having said that, our biased relationship with Israel, the religious enemy of the Middle East is one of the major reasons we are also considered devils and past foreign policies have aggravated an already volitile crazy religious ancient region leading to someone conspiring and delivery hanous acts to kill themselves just to kill some of us...now that's some powerfull hatred. Of course you don't understand all that goes on in other countries from our govt.'s foreign policies and perhaps you should educate yourself. Now these U.S. pics of Iraqis is another black-eye and the Mid East will never trust us so don't ever use the excuse that we're tyring to liberate Iraq...their are many ulterior motives here, including oil...even though we're misled to believe it isn't the Iraqi's and other oil flowing nations there no darn well what's up, they may be crazy but, they weren't born yesterday! You're the one who brought up the WMD in your argument and now you're backing away saying (plan 2) that the war depends on more than that??? Was it the link to Al Qaeda? Was it the link to 9-11? Was it that we still have the receipts to those WMD's? The credibility of this Administration is damaged and is no longer, and it's even worse in these foreign lands. New leadership brings that, "start-over" atmosphere which is the necessity now.
  6. Ummm, where have you been the last year and where are the WMD that were the sole basis of this war? How many Iraqi's were on those hijacked planes on 9-11? If we say Saddam used WMD on his own people 15-20 years ago, how come we didn't do something then under Repulblican leadership? It's been said by the administration that there is NO hard evidence to link Saddam to Al Qaeda. The list goes on and on and now we've forgotten about who was solely responsible for 9-11, Osama himself and now we're spending billions and billions of dollars while giving tax cuts to pay for this, the interst on this deficit will burden us for a long time. Fighting terror with bombs does not work, it only aggrevates the situation...just look at Israels handling on terrorism; has it worked? Good PR and good Foreign Policy with diplomacy will go much longer than our bombs turning moderates into extremists! It is time for new leadership....NOW!
  7. I was against it from the start and new that 9-11 was an alibi to complete the unfinished job of the Bush Sr. Administration. I could watch the president and know he was misleading everyone and evidence is now out to prove it. I figured the war would be easy but this part would not be. We're claiming to liberate a country from a brutal dictator and now some soldiers with guidance from higher command are acting like Saddam with the tortures and demoralizing behavior, it's even worse in the eyes of the surrounding neighbors to see Americans doing it to Muslims rather than their own leader doing it to them. We're trying to democratize a country with three different Muslim groups who happen to hate each other and don't want the other in power...this will never work people!!!
  8. Funny you didn't mention K. Lay and Co. from Enron as one of Bush's biggest supporters, people who do elect Presidents. The Halliburtons, etc. Now throw tax breaks for the wealthy, industrial emission leniencies and disregard for environmental quality for larger profit margins, etc..............I can keep going on and on....
  9. These guys also didn't wage a costly war costing many lives over it either and then issuing tax cuts for the wealthy sending us into a deep hole with no exit plan, etc. Don't forget, over 20 countries have WMD. Bush & Co. added a twist to the WMD accusations, unlike the rest you just posted. Then they had the nerve to show, "Mission Accomplished." Again, a severe credibility issue with these guys. His 4 years were full of empty promises, we cannot afford another 4 years based on his Presidential Record. Even O'Reilly and Co. can no longer defend him.
  10. Again, if the UN Inspections were starting to work cause Bush parked the tanks right next door in Kuwait, then it sounds to me that we didn't need to rush into war...we finally got him complying! Now we're dealing with Bush's mistake in a costly quagmire and he turned a bad place into a horrific terrorists' Mecca and now the people are less safe then they were before. Turns out that Saddam's defense mechanism was to keep everyone thinking that he had WMD so that everyone would think twice about attacking him...........and again, where are the WMD that the Bush administration told us they knew their locations and questioned the credibility of the UN....now his own credibility is gone??? NO SCENARIOS PLEASE! We could make scenarios all day for that matter.
  11. Lies; you think that's just a democratic thing??? Remember the Saddam threat, the Saddam link to Al Qaida, knowing WHERE the WMD were, etc........... Again, do you really want to talk about lies??????
  12. Anyway.... Another 4 years of Bush would be just another 4 years of excuses. He's now promising to cut the deficit in 1/2 over the next 5 years but, his record shows that he'll tell us that 9/11 have more affects on the economy and deficit than originally thought. There's no credibility left in the administration, they are a laughing stock now across the world and people rooting for their downfalls due to the arrogance! We're looking for solutions, not excuses and a leader, not a puppet!!!
  13. Being gay is not a crime, just like being a woman or being black was not a crime when they were debating whether to let them vote and have equal rights! America's about making progress, freedoms and choices. Not allowing gays to marry/ civil union reflects none of these; therefore, very un-American! Besides, Bush is just trying to rally up his radical religious extremists (kind of like Bin Laden and Co.) for support since it is an election year.
  14. Carter was bad, Clinton was not. The economy was strong under Clinton too. Bush will go down as the worse, most unintelligent president ever in history...no doubt about it! He's a divider, not a uniter (except for the Democrats, which he has united very strongly). His arrogance turned of potential allies from helping financially. His job record will be there along with Herbert Hoover and he will be a job casualty as well. He's still spending money on a "witch hunt" for WMD. He miscalculated the Healthcare "reform" by 140,000,000,000.00 (That's pretty sad.) Only president to give tax cuts during a war (both were unecessary and all signs and idications lead that way). He can't articulate...I mean, he's only the president! He hasn't finished the job on Osama but, deferred to Saddam. No Child Left Behind was a sham.. He looked after big business with non-bids going to Halliburton of all companies knowing the relationship and perception under Cheney. This pres. made some bad, bad decisions!
  15. What a sad correlation to try to link pedophiliacs with homosexuals only. Didn't this guy in California who just killed his children father children with some of his own daughters. That's pedophilia and incest...and he was heterosexual. According to Angustia's logic, let's ban all heterosexual marriages because a heterosexual committed pedophilia and incest!
  16. I don't think you got my point. Kerry uses the Vietnam thing to show his military record vs. Bush's AWOL. Bush said on Meet The Press that he was a war time president; therefore, Kerry counters with Vietnam. What I'm saying is that we can't afford Bush using another 4 years of office to blame everything on 9-11, i.e, the economy, job loss, deficits, war, etc. Kerry's not going to use Vietnam as an excuse but, only to show patriotic record.
  17. Angustia, I am assuming that you are a female. If that is the case, woman were not allowed to vote not too long ago. Perhaps now you can put 2 & 2 together.
  18. Hes, In other words, you don't excercise to use your freedom to question those who recklessly run our country. Remember, the Germans couldn't question the Nazi's motives in public unless they wanted to be a victim.
  19. No, Bush did not create all of the world's problems but, he never did anything that made it better either. We're looking for someone in office who is up to the challenge, his record shows he did nothing to help. THe only good thing he's done so far is slow down the telemarketers and that doesn't constitue another 4 years in office.
  20. I'm not even going to begin to explain what deficits do, if you can't figure that one out then...you need to come back at a later time after you do some soul searching on that one. I can't believe you even said that but, at least you're honest! You want to talk about scare tactics, that's all Bush and familia have been doing since 9-11... By the way, why is Bush promising to cut the deficit in half over the next 5 years??? Or did the media use their ventriloquistic skills, just like the liberal media planted drugs in Rush Limbaugh's belly....hahaha.
  21. I don't know what Kerry's going to do vs. what he says he'll do; however, I have to go on the very realistic assumption that it can't be worse than what the current President's agenda is...not even close. Bush had his chance and has failed miserably. We just can't put up with another 4 years of empty promises and a further escalating deficit. We also can't have someone in there using 9-11 as their alibi any more, especially 4 more years. Someone has to come in here, pick up the pieces and roll with it...that's what Kerry represents to me.
  22. There are many things in the past that cause problems now. Look at Rumsfeld and Bush Sr. providing the WMD to Saddam along with intelligence and money back in the 80's. Providing arms and money to Osama as well back then. That's why we're in this mess now; however, what is the current president doing about job losses. He has told us that these massive tax cuts were going to create approx. 3 million jobs this year. Some of the 1st indicators show us to not even be kind of close! Once again, we're talking about this president's credibility...which obviously, there is none left. Excuse time is over, we need results and Bush has unfortunately failed. He wants to only bring up 9-11 for all of his mishaps...time to move on and get results.
