  1. Greg, I know where you are going with this and I understand, however, Righturnonred posted this, then you come and jump on my case. It just struck me as being bias but, I'm happy to be wrong in such a case, if I am. And let's be honest with ourselves, there's a fine line between politics and biasses and it is hard to distinguish sometimes, especially when you didn't tell Righturned anything...and this is a "political" fourm.
  2. I don't know but, I was not the one that sent our money and troops to fight a war. I recall France and Germany asking for one more month and the administration wanted to rush into it. I also recall the credibility of the U.N. being questioned since they could not find the WMD. All you are doing is making excuses. "Former U.S. weapons inspector Kay is advising Mr. Bush to acknowledge he was wrong about hidden storehouses of weapons in Iraq and move ahead with overhauling the intelligence process," quoted from http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/06/25/...ain560449.shtml Bush's record has spoken and many of us feel he is unfit for the position. Gen. Clark said in an interview this week on T.V., "Bush said he would be a uniter and he is...for the democratic party to get him out of office." Also, I think I had mistaken your War time president comment of why Bush would win...I now believe Derek said that.
  3. Righturned, Just a reminder coming from your previous thread. Greg, You're evidently biased. I'm engaging in "political" discussion concerning a "political" figure, GWB. I represent a percentage of the country right now that feels he must go for the good of the country...this is "political" and believe your notion that I contribute nothing to this Political Form is perhaps based on your own "political" bias. However, I will not continue with the "pretzel" epigrams and go on with, "politics" as usual!
  4. Krusty, You're right. Bush won the war and is still eating the chocolates and smelling the roses that the Iraqi's gave the troops when we entered as "liberators." The stockpiles of WMD have been found and we just realized that Saddam actually flew the 3 planes on 9-11. Bush is also excited about making it into the record books based on the deficit. Answer this question, Did Bush Sr. win re-election after being a successful War Time President (with a strong coalition and was paid for by Kuwait???) So explain why you say that "dubya" is going to win this time?
  5. Krusty, I posted my proof with several links, however, Greg, the moderator, deleted since I called you a clown. I apologize for the comment.
  6. About the most ignorant thing I've heard in my life. American soldiers are still dying daily and you call that a win? Tell that to the families of those who lost their lives how much Bush is winning, especially a war that was based on false pretences. Krusty, I take it you're a teenager. Recall Bush Sr. really won a war with a real coalition and didn't cost the American tax payer much and [/b]HE STILL LOST!
  7. Bush and Co. questioned the credibility of the U.N. when they couldn't find the WMD and would not allow additional time to look, which by the way, was paid for with the Iraqi Oil for Food Program. Now he cannot find them and wants more time??? Who is lacking the credibility now? Many American lives and money lost and everyone seems to forget about innocent Iraqi lives lost and then are upset when a news organization like Al Jazeera reminds everyone... The list continues: -Iminent Threat -Saddam link to 9-11 -Purchase of Yellow Cake and Al. tubes from Niger -Serious Health Care miscalculations -Record deficit after inheriting largest surpluss -Halliburton/ Cheney -Sr. Adm. official leaking CIA info -Tax cuts for top 1% -Possibly AWOL
  8. Righturned, Well at least you're consistent with Bush. He never wants to respond until forced by the party, i.e., Meet The Press, and that didn't go well for him either. I'll say this, I wish McCain was in there instead of both Bush and Gore but, he's not. Now you have a guy in there that really has lost your party's credibility and credibility is everything! That's funny coming from a Bush supporter, hahahhaaa!
  9. Funny to see you guys scramble to find information to help make Bush not to seem as incompetent as he is...must be hard being a Republican this last year~ Again, 100,000 new jobs but, an overall net loss last year and you give the guy praise??? Derek, You know who is a bigger threat to the U.S. than Saddam? Bush. Under Bush, 500+ Americans and $180 Billion dollars gone because of him....it was unecessary and now you're scrambling to justify, this is not leadership. That's why we need our own "regime" change!
  10. Derek, Hahhaaha, you are a funny man! I'm sure Rush will vote for Bush he's not in jail during election day... Go back and look at Alan Greenspan's last 2 year projections, they have all been positive and last year there was a net loss of jobs vs. jobs created as well.... He also warned of problems with the budget deficit but, you forgot to mention that... Bottom line is that Bush Must Go!!!
  11. Hmmm, Rush Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Kudlow and Kramer, Harlborough (whatever his name is).... Even these morons are questioning Bush's spending habbits right now of all people. Not even they can find anymore excuses for Bush. And you Republicans complained about Gov. G. Davis' spending habbits...funny!
  12. Patience??? I won't be patient with this administration just as they were impatient with the U.N.'s search for WMDs. That was $180,000,000,000.00 and 500+ troops lives ago. It didn't cost us for the U.N. to search for WMD, that came from the Iraqi Oil for Food Program. You preach impatience abroad than we shall practice it at home! Again, the credibility of this administration is no longer there for me...done! -WMD -Iminent Threat -Saddam link to 9-11 -Purchase of Yellow Cake and Al. tubes from Niger -Serious Health Care miscalculations -Record deficit after inheriting largest surpluss -Halliburton/ Cheney -Sr. Adm. official leaking CIA info -Tax cuts for top 1% just to turn around and write a $1,000 check to Bush's campaign. -Making Gay marriage of big issue as if there were not some other serious matters to be handling. -Possible AWOL
  13. You can sugar coat it and quote every site you can find; however, where all of the jobs it was suppose to create? That's the bottom line...
  14. I would like to quote the President of the United States, George "dubya" Bush, "Uuuuhhh, ummmm, ummm, uhhhh, the people of this great ummm, nation, uhhh."
  15. Righturned, Funny how you and the administration have to defend the right wing position so much, evidently something isn't correct when you defend all of those positions and it gathers so much negativity. I don't have to defend myself or my views and answer to you, I'm not the one that's defending anything! Must be hard to come up with so much baloney to defend what's obviously and blatantly ridiculous. Cutting taxes during war time, which happened to be unecessary and overdramitized along with underestimating (once again) Health Care by a significant 33%. If an estimator here at work miscalculated by that much (again) he would be fired on the spot!! On the tax cut issue, is it correct to help someone in need, or someone not in need?
  16. Bush fits the Dictator role. He's perceived that way in many countries but, what would you know? "Dictator" Bush The economy went so far under with Bush, that all it can do is come up and you think that's a miracle or something that Bush is performing. Jobs are a true indicator, not max. corporate profits as you Right Wingers like to think...that's a shame!
  17. I thought that the Dictator himself, George W. Bush tried again to mislead the American public. He loves to tell half the story, the part that sounds good. Thomas Friedman of the New York Times, quoted an old joke concerning misconsceptions such as the State of the Union: "Someone once asked M. Gorbechev to define the Soviet Economy in ONE word and he responded, 'GOOD.' Then he was asked to define it in TWO words and he responded, 'NOT GOOD.'" That's exactly what Bush is doing!
  18. I agree with both TP and maplesyrup! Now I see why they don't let George Bush do interviews, he gets confused very easily and has a very hard time articulating. It truly is sad when the President of the U.S. is that dumb! They may as well have interviewed someone in Kindergarten...it was that bad!!!
  19. Put a fork in him cause he is DONE!!! I'm surprised that he's finally going to come out and answer some questions on Meet The Press this weekend. Usually he gives his speech and runs before anyone can ask him anything. A Republican here at work tells me that he does not answer questions because he is not a good speaker or that speech is not his forte....Someone pinch me here, this is the President of the Free World we're talking about, the No. 1 position and you're telling me that speaking is not a strong point??? May as well have put Helen Keller in there!
  20. You're joking right??? 3 million jobs lost and you're going to give props to Bush for 100,000 jobs created? It's like feeding a casino slot machine $1,000 dollars and it pays you back $4....are you going to go home and tell the family how lucky you are to win 4 bucks??? Get real!!!
  21. 1/3 over on the Healthcare costs vs. estimates. Is he going to blame the CIA again. Funny thing is, he now tells us that over the next 5 years he can reduce (his making) the deficit in half. Who is naive enough to believe what this guy says anymore??? If given 5 more years, he would have some other excuse. Just when I thought this president couldn't get any worse. Even Bill O'Reilly, Kudlow and Kramer, and Rush are all starting to have a really hard time defending Bush's actions.
  22. Craig, You are so desperate!!! The lies, and excuses that you and this administration have gotten so old and you expect anyone to believe you anymore? Give me a break!
  23. Do the math, divide 3,000,000 by 11 months... Yeah, you can make all of the excuses on natural economic cycles, 9-11, blah-blah-blah... Fact of the matter is, there's 3 million jobs lost since he's taken office. Lies and deception in the last State of The Union Address on weapons and "intelligence" and now you expect anyone to believe him any further. You don't get much of chance at rebuilding credibility once it is lost!
  24. Under the Bush Administration, approximately 3 million jobs were lost...3 million! If the Economy is now turning for the better, it sure isn't indicated in the job market, where the true importance lies. You go and tell those 3 million people that the economy is doing better. In order for Bush to get back the jobs lost under his clock, he would need to create 272,727 jobs a month until his 1st and last term was over. Do you know that last month there were approximately 1,500 jobs created, that's a far cry from where we need to be. You can sugarcoat the economy all you want if you choose to be deceptive!
