  1. I wish they didn't, but they do.
  2. It is my prediction and I am confident of it. I am HOPING that they form this coalition. Then we will see which of the two of us knows Canadians the best.
  3. Against the players that later became the Warsaw pact?
  4. Aww... My very own stalker!
  5. Surely you can provide a link? I have.
  6. It is possible and within the rules, but the grand Coalition will be severely punished by the Canadian voter next election. You, as a Liberal, should be very wary of this. This will forever change the nature of politics in Canada, effectively regulating the Liberals to a rump of a coalition. English Canadians will not take kindly to the BQ running the country. Also, the BDers will not take kindly to being in bed with the Ad-Scam people. I can't figure out why Harper and Co. are backing down on this. A couple of months on the bench will do more for the CPC than 4 years in power ever could.
  7. As do I! Bring on the Liberal/Socialist/Seperatist grand coalition! lol
  8. You would be in the middle if this were 1995. in 2008, you are slightly right of centre, if only because the Internet has given the looney left disporportionate clout in the whiney sweepstakes. You may not have changed, the centre did.
  9. It doesn't make any sense, that is the NDP's price of admission.
  10. uhh.. Yes, yes you are wrong. (and stubborn) Note: Not one mention of the 'UN' source: http://www.state.gov/p/eur/rls/fs/17623.htm
  11. haha WRONG. It was formed to be the bulwark against the Warsaw pact (heard of that?). It had nothing to do with the UN.
  12. Nothing, but I imagine that alot of people who voted for the Liberals and NDP didn't envision them forming a coalition to run the nation with a seperatist party. I say let them go for it. I'll get the popcorn
  13. So let me get this straight, you think less than 100,000 Jews died in the Holocaust?
  14. It's exciting for me! I think Harper and the party are making a mistake by backing down on the economic update. I think they should stand up to the opposition and ask them to form the government if they can't support this economic update. Be prepared to be relegated to the opposition for a maximum of two months and watch the Liberals, NDP and Bloc destroy themselves. Heck, the Liberals can't even get along, let alone adding the socialists and the seperatists! This would forever relegate the Liberals to needing a coalition to govern and the CPC can advertise outside of PQ as a vote for the Libs or NDP is in essence, a vote for the Bloc. In PQ, they can advertise a vote for the BQ is a vote for the liberals. Too tasty to pass up in my opinion.
  15. If you simply moved out of downtown you could get a cheaper place. No government mandated 'low-income housing' need be required. I can't afford to live in downtown Vancouver either. Why do you think that you don't have to move?
  16. No, it depends on what you mean by 'betterment of all people'. Your definition of 'betterment' may not be shared by all people. It sure isn't shared by me.
  17. You said it was especially true for religion... So I'm asking - compared to what exactly?
  18. Moreso that Fascism? Communism? Really? examples? Thanks!
  19. What if some people wanted to be left behind - would they be allowed to be left behind in your world?
  20. The real problem with any creed or philosophy is that it tends to be divisive.
  21. No, not at all. Perhaps you should look into cheaper accomodations. Are you DT Vancouver? If you moved out to Surrey you could probably get a nicer place for less money.
  22. So Bill Gates and Warren Buffet giving hundreds of billions of dollars to charity is bad because they were initially motivated by profit? I don't think you have put too much thought into this.
  23. lol
