  1. I await it with baited breath...but I wont hold it...
  2. Chretien was right about Iraq. You guys had no proof. It was all bullshit and its now on the record. Get over it...
  3. "There has never been a single, solitary, proven allegation of abuse of a detainee, a Taliban prisoner, transferred by Canadian Forces." MacKay said Dec. 2 in the House of Commons. Its hard to determine who to believe...MacKay or General Natynczyk.
  4. I am too. I'm not bickering. I simply asked you a question. You seem to think that Canada had a bunch of evidence that Khadr is a terrorist. You dont know that. I appreciate that you have an opinion that he might be one. Perhaps he is. I'm more interested in seeing if and when the US will be taking him to trial. He is their prisoner. Lets first see if he's found guilty in the US and of what before urging a trial here in Canada...
  5. There werent any steps taken. Had there been any, you would be aware of them by now. The brass were likely waiting for the Afghan's to advertize on You Tube.
  6. I'm not upset. I was honestly asking what charges you believe should brought to bear on Khadr here in Canada given that you seem to have all the evidence in your back pocket.
  7. I'm not speculating. You are. You state that he should be charged with everything we can think of. So tell us what YOU are thinking of.
  8. ...I realize a lot Morris. Now yer just being silly....I suppose thats your only defnce now ... so be it... In case you didnt know...It took a USSC ruling for Khader to be given the right to a trial.
  9. You must be dyslexic er sumpthin' Its about Harper words and NOT about troop deployment. The two things I like about you and Harper are your face...
  10. You seem to be trying to suck and blow at the same time...
  11. Now that we are past the Geneva Convention stuff that you are so well informed on and have discussed at length...the issue at hand is about Khadr getting a trial in the US. We already know what the Canadian SC ruled on and it had nothing to do with a trial for Khadr in the US. Try to keep up.
  12. What do you think Khadr should be charged with here in Canada?.... assuming of course that the US authorities will back off from their current accusations.
  13. Lets not use Dancers favourite line. "So what" doesnt cut it. I must assume that you believe everything that Bush told you. Intentionally depriving a person of sleep and waterboarding are forms of torture...its all a matter of degree.
  14. It all took place in Canada...and Harper is nothing short of being a serial liar...
  15. The Bush administration also thought waterboarding wasnt torture either...
  16. ...perhaps you should step back from your constant confrontational nature and you just might understand that the reference point at this juncture is about Ghadr's trial whch has everything to do with the US SC and NOT the GC. Have a great day...
  17. Do you actually believe what all lawyers have to say. Bill Clinton, F Lee Baily and Johhny C. immediately come to mind.
  18. Yes they were...
  19. Only wrong about the timing.
  20. Horesepucky. We arent talking about the GC here. Its about the US SC rulings.
  21. We musta missed the trial. Were you there Morris?
  22. Well we all know now that the invasion was based on a pack of lies. Chretien & de boys had an inkling about it. He apparently asked George if the proof was good and if he would swear to it. Bush replied.."I cross my legs and hope to fly its true." Chretien soon found out the proof Bush offered was pure bullshit but eventually was able to forgive him when he said..."Don worry aboud it...its water under de fridge now."
  23. I gather you missed what Harpers multiple positions were re Iraq. In 2003 Harpers position was... "in reading only the polls, indulging a juvenile and insecure anti-Americanism, this government has for the first time in our history left us outside our British and American allies in their time of need." "In the final analysis," he added, "disarming Iraq is necessary for the long-term security of the world, to the collective interest of our historic allies and, therefore, manifestly it is in the national interest of this country." In June 2004, in the run-up to the election that year. Harper told reporters that he was only advocating morally supporting Bush and Tony Blair. Later in June, as the campaign began, he said he hadn't wanted to send Canadian troops to Iraq for the invasion, he was thinking of a pre-deployment before the war to scare Saddam.
  24. Maybe one day you will be able to read stuff and actually understand what it was that you read.
