Better hope the people of whatever third world country you are going to take your ball to have more enlightened attitudes towards immigrants than you. -
Sexual Misconduct In Canadian Military

I'd be more surprised if there weren't a hundred Ghomeshi's around in uniform. You couldn't really ask for a better environment for such a predator to thrive. -
The rise of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia, much like the rise of ISIS in the Levant, falls squarely in the category of unintended consequences. So while both may be the result of U.S. actions, the ultimate blame for the massacre of some 2 million Cambodians lies with the party who carried it out: the Khmer Rouge. It's the difference between understanding cause and effect and finger-pointing to score rhetorical points.

Like how you're making excuses for the guys who tried to shoot up this Texas thing or even Pol Pot? BTW: does this mean you don't have a cite showing the U.S. has caused ~50 million deaths? "Facile: appearing neat and comprehensive only by ignoring the true complexities of an issue; superficial." It's the perfect descriptor. In your first year undergrad worldview, there are only two actors on the world stage: the all-powerful U.S., whose every action is malign in fact and intent, and everyone else who are reduced to automatons who only respond to the stimulus provided by the U.S.A and who have no motivation or agency of their own.

I guess the answer is to go into predominately white areas and smash those up.

Just saw an interview with Ian McElhinney, who played Ser Barristan, that confirms he dead. I guess there's a vacancy in the Queensguard waiting for old Ser Friendzone.

No reasonable person would interpret that as an accusation of racism. Again, here's what you wrote: It's quite clear that you are saying that people who think they are facing racism (in this context that would be black people) respond by abandoning logic and rationality. If you think that sounds like a racist statement, then you should take it up with the person who wrote it: you. Nobody's buying your victim schtick. But hey if you think that's baiting, inform the mods, let's see how they feel. I agree, you are not a victim. You just love to play one on these boards to distract attention from the indefensibility and incoherence of your arguments. Why would I try to discuss the issues with someone who clearly has no grasp of the discussion? "99 per cent of quotes on the internet are misattributed or made up." - Abraham Lincoln

I don't think this makes the point you think it's making.

Sure, like Malcolm X and the Black Panthers. Of course, when those people started toting guns and talking revolution, the NRA and white conservatives like Ronald Reagan were mighty quick to back various gun control measures like the Mulford Act...

You benefit from income splitting? Wow this is like seeing a unicorn in the wild.
-
I already did. Loving guns and hating the government and blacks go together like PB and J.

The Venn diagram between racist white supremacists and anti-government gun fetishists is very close to a circle.

All the policies you're whinging about were put in place by her predecessor. And voters ressponded by returning the same party to power. Nah. If voters are still punishing the NDP for the Rae government of 25 year sago, then the same must hold true for the Conservatives. Hey, it's your narrative, not mine. -
Me neither. And?

Ironically, only one of those guys named is currently coaching a team that's in action. Maybe McLellan's team is better because he's a better coach? As for worse in the playoffs, look at the records in the last six years again... And in the end, they're still out. By success, you mean one more early playoff exit?

And, you know, being white.

Given there hasn't been a PC government since HarrisEves almost 15 years ago, I guess people have learned their lesson about the PCs too. It's a slow process I guess. 13 years and counting. -

You realize "bad green policy" was the product of the governments voted in (several times!) by the same voters you were just praising for having learned their lesson, yeah?
