  1. Our creation theories are a part of of our spiritual belief system and are quite different from yours. I'm sure you knew that already. Much of the "migration" theories have been contested by many Native tribes whose oracle history says different. I refuse to debate over different sets of beliefs. It seems to me that this is an attempt to discredit the Native heritage.
  2. Ahhhh, the ol' Berrin Strait theory. Bunk. Archaeological evidence proves Native presence thousands years prior to that THEORY. 10,000+ years of expertise on the land beneath your feet. Are you always so presumptuous with theories? I' m sure your native but without the "t'.
  3. lol, you're cute when you that lil' dance Riverspin. n·dig·e·nous Audio pronunciation of "indigenous" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (n-dj-ns) adj. 1. Originating and living or occurring naturally in an area or environment. See Synonyms at native. 2. Intrinsic; innate. So now you want to deny the Native's INDIGENOUS connection to the land. Funny. Must be hard living with that constant dizziness! Yours Truly, Your local forum's Extreme Racist
  4. FTA, I had made a post indicating that not all of us were of that opinion from the native poster you are referring to. I for one, appreciate the legal views you have expressed and am grateful for the knowledge you are sharing Aiy Hiy, Chi Meegwetch!
  5. My whole point (which you always ignore) with my previous statement is that Natives have a NATURAL and indigenous connection to the land. An indigenous connection with traditional knowledge that others do not have. Whether you like this or refuse to accept this (which I know you will) I dont think anyone cares. It is obvious how you dislike EVERY comment I make and you sit there 24/7 waiting for the opportunity to call me a racist. Accept that Native people do HAVE somethings that others do not. Some are negative and some are very positive. Keep living in your dreamworld of equality which will never happen as it doesn't exist. Sticks and stones... blah blah blah.
  6. I think it's only a natural path to appoint Natives as governers of the lands, whether they own it or not. They have always been and have ancient respects and knowledge of Mother Earth. We would see less raping, pillaging, polluting and destroying of our resources, forestry, waters and air. Natives as caregivers of the land would ensure a guarantee on the future for all our children and their grandchildren as they would stand as the voice of reason and not the greedy minded cancerous corporations that are mass murdering the main essential ingredient to health and vitality. I believe in economical strength but seriously, if we don't care for our lands and PLANET NOW, there will be NO FUTURE. Anyone that even attepts to argue this simple fact is a complete moron and is not only wasting cyber space but should be completly dismissed off the planet as they are just wasting more of the semi-toxic air that we breathe.
  7. BLUEJAY: Firstly, I'd like to say WELCOME, or TAWOW ( in my language, Cree) I think it's fantastic that you stumbled upon us and look forward to the things you have to share. I must forwarn you that a "MAJORITY" of the non_Native posters here are exuding an enormous level of racism, ignorance and plain prejudice. HOWEVER, there are many that have offered an open mind and are actually willing to listen and discuss varied views on our issues, which is the only reason I am still here. Often it has become very disheartening to learn how much the racism is still alive today and no matter what positive things we share on behalf of our people, many are attempting to dismantle all or any of this. It is my hope that through the sharing of education, historical facts and open ears and minds that we can overcome this sad state of affairs which is igniting much of the hostility we are witnessing today. I thank you (AIY HIY) for your bravery and your committment to the advancement of our people's. Respectively, Charm
  8. Uhm, Dobbin I have to agree with Tsi here. You really are being a wee tad lil' bit insensitive, DONT YA THINK? I mean come on already, this is the INTERNET. Buck up camper! Toughen up. I mean you don't see me complaining everytime one these yahoo's calls me a racist or an extremist. Which could offend me if I had any sissy blood in me. Yes, I am saying to the same person who says "dahlin" is sexist language, whereas to me its a term of endearment. What you find offensive is more than likely not the intentions of others. Ahh yes, back to "the flow". I really do spend too much time here
  9. I often wondered why "her majesty" is not held accountable for the mess she made.
  10. If you do then you have to cut back on whatever drug you are using. The Canadian gov't is deathly afraid of accidentally killing even a single protester - that is why the blockade has been left alone for so long. Even suggesting that anyone in the gov't has murderous intent towards natives is libelous and perhaps the most pathetic piece of hate propaganda that I have seen posted on this website. Unfortunately, it is typical of the racist hate mongering that fills most of your posts. Riv Dahlin, the only drug I'm on is an open mind, you might want to try it sometime. Calling me a racist hate monger only demonstrates your dizziness.
  11. Thanks for your reply Tsi. I was only asking because hypothetically they could view it as being cheaper to remove us from the equation. Of course it's not possible and most certainly "may" not even be considerable. However, I'm sure they will consider every other option other than breaking the bank.
  12. and then...What happens if they try to kill us off again? I can see them using the Six Nations as the perfect ploy to initiate mass mayhem, in hopes of killing off as many across the homelands as they possibly can.
  13. You couln't have said it better. It's almost like a nationwide epidemic. I'm one of the more "calm" ones.
  14. I realize that you have a twisted sense of morality, however, most people understand that righting historical wrongs must never create a new set of victims. Make demands that require the victimization of 500,000+ people and you will find that most people will give you very little sympathy. There WILL be some casualties (so to speak), as there was back when this all started. It is inevitable that there will be many people affected. Finding the outcome to minimize this is the goal. Can't please everyone.
  15. Thanks for telling me what I already know.
  16. Patience and Trust? Hmmmm. Where oh where have we heard that before? Just as in any relationship, once the trust is gone, there really isn't much of a relationship anymore. Any tokens of trust that has been given to the Natives has been betrayed. Repeatedly. I believe they have exhausted these much explored avenues long ago. I think the natives have more than demonstrated their share of patience over the past couple hundred years.
  17. WTF kinda comment is this? ARE YOU KIDDING? It's your type of attitude that keeps the racism alive today.
  18. You've made your point Mr. Fortin. It is no secret how short my fuse is when I am faced with either ignorant people or those that put a false foot forward. I will save you the humilation of making you eat your own your words and refrain from quoting you. It really "irks" me when people say, " oh now your extremist and you have converted this supporter...blah blah blah". I've watched your posts since coming to this forum and your position ( though you may hide it quite well) has been very clear. So why, WHY would you pretend to be something you are not? Granted, I'm sure you're not a drag queeen, and I hope you are not offended by that, however from what I have read of your opinion of our people and our issues it seems to be more likely you would sooner be that than an actual supporter. Also, I don't recall using any profanity in reference to you? Gay rights and drag queens is like swearing to you? I apologize if you are insecure of your sexuality and IF you take that as an insult. Truly I do, I thought you were tougher than that. My bad. Friend is not a term I use as lightly as you.
  19. I like that they say they want to be a "good neighbor." Where is that attitude north of the border? I think that got shot to shit when the racism hit the fan from the Caledonians. I was there, I seen it. The blockade was never intended to harm these people, the intention was to get action from the government. It disrupted their lifestyle (morelike "inconvenienced" them), people fail to realize that many of the Native people sacrificed their lifestyles over and over. You would be surprised exactly how many Six supporters are Caledonians and have expressed their support only to be received with violence and public ridicule from other Caledonian residents. The sad part is the families and children that are married into eachother. The racism will carry on for generations. The government should have stepped in and started the negotiating when they should have, which would have been a long, long, long time ago. This could have prevented, but our good ol' government will always favour the corporations before ANY citizens of any nation or township. Just my thoughts.
  20. Negotiations have stopped, as they should. When the appeal is denied the government will have no choice but to respect the court's decision and remove the protestors from the site. Because Canadian law applies to the Six Nations as I showed you last night. You are subjects of the Crown, not a sovereign nation. The land was surrendered, the documents are readily available. The Six Nations doesn't have a pot to piss in. If this WAS truly the case, which it isnt...then this incident would not still be happening. If the government DID have jurisdiction on their"subjects" land, which they don't..then OPP would be allowed on Six Nations territory, which they are not, as with many other Native nations. The government knows this and THAT my dear watson wannabe is WHY there has been your so-called "lawlessness" in this particular region. Marshall's decision was nothing more than a public plea for more violence in a situation that has potential to be controlled.
  21. Another racist comment from another narrow point of view.
  22. Just a hunch...maybe theres no corporation trying to develop in that area. Or maybe its not land that contains artifacts. If you find out, please let me know. Curiouser. http://www.onondaganation.org/news.hugeclaim.html It seems that this an approach that might actually be workable and not displace or hurt people. I like the way you think and thanks for the link. The main problem with land claims is the amount of time it takes up, and then after so much time passes you get all these pople that say" well that was sooo long ago, it shouldnt matter now" blah blah, if you know what I mean! I think thats one of the main points the stand off at Six nations is trying to make. It should not take another couple hundred years to have what is already theirs. Moreso is the fact that they are their own confederacy, so their laws are different. Nation to nation - government to government...SOOOOO complicated. The actions that the OPP, the courts, the citizens and the government take during this indicident will reflect and affect other nations. Its a fact that Canada has been stalling and dragging as long as possible because they have made a monumentous mistake of which all parties involved... are victims of. 'm sure we can all agree that this shouldn't affect the innocent people both Native and non-Native alike. I truly believe common good and sense will prevail.
  23. We are not "all" saying that. Many of us are from differrent nations and have differrent viewpoints, just like the rest of you.
