Fascism always causes more problems that it claims to solve. Way more orders and orders of magnitude more serious and grotesque. The last time in Germany, was a good demonstration of this rule. Don't touch what smells and tastes bad, you'll regret it. They could have known it even back then, none of that comes for free. But now we know it with final certainty. It's never a good idea to play with fascism. Or something that edges and itches toward it.

If Trump Wins He Will Abandon NATO
myata replied to robosmith's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I'm not going to babble with the converted forever about their fantasies, constructed alt-realities: each such attempt makes it only worse for them and wastes my time. So no: not a chance. The reality is for everyone to see; and it has been posted here yet again as a courtesy. See and learn if you still can. -
If Trump Wins He Will Abandon NATO

He already invaded. "Cancelling a meeting" isn't even a mosquito bite just a joke for Putin and the bunch. At least being kicked out of G8 was a real thing. Look you are trying to cling desperately to the alt-reality fairy tale that you created in your mind and the last thing I'll attempt is to convince the converted. Lifetime may not be enough as the previous experiences taught us. Here's the reality though: Syria: withdrew and abandoned positions. Afghanistan: engineering withdrawal of the West and return of the Taleban. Cowered to Kim with zero results, being played for a fool. Cowered to Putin, with zero results. The buffoon admires and all but worships totalitarian dictator thugs. The last thing he would do (and did) is standing to them. The results speak all and lying words can add nothing. This is the reality and I'm not going to discuss objective facts any longer. -

"Cancelled a meeting", right. Compare it to Russia being kicked out of G8, all EU associations and Obama may actually stand in a good light. He sure did just that, by making Afghan government a sitting duck. There was no ground left for the West to defend there, this was a major betrayal. I'm not saying the war should have gone on indefinitely, but capitulating to the thugs was definitely not the way to end it. And that's what he does best, and always. That says everything. I said so. -

And it was still nine months to the 2020 election, and just a bit under a year to the transfer of power. Fact. -
Look you can read the discussion up to here to understand the context and implications. No way I would repeat it over and again for everyone who suddenly pops in. Not me saying that Putin was provoked but the lying mob said it repeatedly, over and again: go and find it, all there before your eyes. Putin is a thug, an incarnation of Hitler's ideology and methods in our time. So it follows logically, for the lying mob, that he was provoked too. Provocations are possible. But seeking to be safe from an aggressive psycho is not that normal people would use that word for. On the contrary, normal people find it entirely normal and fully justifiable to ensure their safety and defend themselves when attacked by a psycho. Only in the psycho's world - and that of the lying mob, the feelings of the psycho are considered valid arguments and justification of the attacks and murders. What isn't clear here? Next time, I'll just copy and paste it.

This is what lending one's brains to the cult does for you: you lose sanity, nothing less: "The Agreement for Bringing Peace to Afghanistan, commonly known as the United States–Taliban deal or the Doha Accord, was a peace agreement signed by the United States and the Taliban on 29 February 2020 in Doha, Qatar, to bring an end to the 2001–2021 war in Afghanistan." How far beyond the boundary of reason one has to cross to deny obvious facts? Seriously? And where is the evidence of that? Fat lying cheeks is all the evidence, no: the reality you live by now? -

Why could I not be asking both of these questions? Sure liberal elites were wrong in enticing Putin's thuggery and failing react to it as they should have. That doesn't make Trump right in any way. He was the leader of the free world for a full term. He had means to stand to Putin much stronger; and he did nothing of that. As a result, the lawful order was not restored. Further, it's him who orchestrated the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan that invited Putin to the full-scale invasion by showing him West's perceived weakness. Trump as a champion against Putin and dictator thugs - a stupid fairy tale for his brainless cult. In his own words: "genius", "savvy", "very honorable". What can you not see, right before your eyes? Why you don't see it, ask yourself. Pick one: your own eyes and brain or the Idol's. It never worked both ways. Just can't. -

What's wrong with your brains people? Why is it hard to check the facts? Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014 by occupying Crimea and other territories. Trump was a president from 2016 to 2022 and did nothing to stop it. Before our eyes is the result of following the lying mob: one has to part with all, everything that defines them: reason; principles; dignity and integrity; objectivity and reality. One can only repeat the lies. Reality doesn't matter. Well, it's good that he's saying it and we can talk about it. In the history, people played with lying aggressive fascist-leaning populism for any number of reasons: recessions; starvation; absolute despair. So if anyone is thinking of trying it out of boredom or curiosity, will know exactly what they are dealing with. Not a chance in a million years; not a grain of substance to "we didn't know". -
Of Science, Morality and the Better World (with Crocodiles)
myata replied to myata's topic in Health, Science and Technology
Just noticed that the year of the publication was 2021. That would be year 7 of Russia's invasion into an independent European country and de facto end of the post-WWII world order based on the international law. Not a problem! Where's the problem? The piece is interspersed with Russian-sounding names, acronyms, references that the new Einstein on steroids in the interstellar space just can't stop spilling them in ostensible deep admiration. Why Russia though? The amazing and breathtaking etc technology was first developed in Germany (yes in that period) and as true scientists aren't we supposed to give it the true and verifiable fair due? To shell and ruin cities full of civilians to be exact - just what Russia is doing these days, if we still want to retain the memory. A sigh of despair... the lesson never seems to sink in even with those among us endowed with sophisticated intelligence. To infinity and beyond - or was it just another spontaneous planetary event?, with the crocodiles? -
Straight to the point: yes, it's a choice. Being civilized is a choice, it cannot be just written somewhere or anywhere. There are no guarantees; nobody assured us of good times forever and no matter what we do (or don't). No matter how much we seek or desire it, simply doesn't exist. Civilization, humanity is a continuous, persistent work; thinking; choosing; and responsibility. We learned it the last time. Now we know it again.

This is as atrocious as it is nonsensical: the victim is guilty of an assault on a brutal lawless thugs only by seeking to be safe from them. Looking to be safe from me - you provoked me, blast! Poland started WWII. The West in Ukraine started the invasion in Ukraine - does it make any sense? People in a small town are guilty by electing a sheriff and police to protect themselves against the thugs and bandits. This is the psychotic territory the mob wants to take us to. It wants us to disown the very ability to think and make moral choices - what is the case that is simple than these? It's not even about some discussion, it's plain and simple, about drowning all of our senses, thinking and judgement until we can't make the simplest choices and have to look up to the Idol to dictate our lives. It was exactly like that the last time. The symptoms cannot be mistaken or ignored. All of it is right in the plain sight. And the choice is ours, as always.

Sane America needs to mobilise
myata replied to myata's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
The mob pretends to love and cherish their system when they think that it's going to work for them, and then assault and storm it, "hang him" when it wouldn't. This is how the mob thinks and acts - and one never, ever got anywhere good riding with a mob. Every time, a trouble. -

But he had only a political party, what's there to worry? "Theatrics perpetrated", really? Sane, thinking people need to unite and mobilize to stop the insanity because letting it have its way always, every time causes many problems. They can unite for a cause not jumping and crying mindless for some lying clown. -

Extremes are the logical and probably inevitable result of the binary politics. It was made in the 18th century and we live in the 21st. Our lives changed dramatically. Politics, not one bit - except maybe the volume. This is how it goes every time. Hitler had only a "political party". And the future is assured and guaranteed of course. -
This is what intelligent people do facing a challenge and we're facing it right here. A new Axis of heinous dictators that's been rising is sending feelers to anti-democratic, authoritarian cults that have grown feeding on the public's indifference and complacency. This is not about Joe. I cannot fathom why in the time like this we want to make it about a face, one individual? Are we past the line of sanity too, no better essentially, then those who stomp and cry for a prolific, pathological liar? This is not about one individual. The question is much simpler: who is the best leader to stand to the rising tide of insanity? We need to come to this answer; we need to do it together; and we need it soon. This is really, the only answer that is needed and no theatrics needed. Throwing mud in the air about Joe totally misses the point. Why do we not know it? There's no time for the theatrics anymore, they were invented in another century and worked in another time. We can do it the modern, today's way so that sane America can see the winning leader and unite to stop the tide. There are only two possible answers here: yes we can do that - no need to talk any longer, the time is to work. Or we can't. In the time of a critical need we can throw up useless words, play two-century old theatrics and cannot find a common answer to a critical, pressing challenge of the Time itself. And should that be the case, what future can we have? Would we deserve it, the future?

Isn't it amazing how you just can't fail with the dead brains? The moment you ask a question they couldn't answer they just buzz off to unreal infinity and way beyond. One more time, slowly: How is Putin different from Hitler, 1939? How is he any better than Hamas? Was Hitler only misunderstood? Could it all have been avoided, with a great bullsh*tting deep throat and loudmouth leader? One more?
-
"He was misunderstood", silly. "Threatened abandoned and hurt" - he just had to blow that mall "there was no choice". Nobody sought "mutually beneficial relationships" with him, it goes for something, no? Psycho needs to be nurtured, spoken to softly and obeyed, not so? Interesting how the bunch wakes up with a new set of memory every day. Or is it only programming?
-
Note also that this one is both honest and logical. Seriously: if Putin's fascist - nothing less, crimes can be shrugged away and explained; if Kim is a "very honorable person" - when why not Hitler? Where is the principal, dividing line, the difference? It doesn't exist of course. We've been here for days wrote thousands of lines and words and no fact has come around to prove that Putin today is doing anything different from Hitler, 1939 and on. Just doesn't exist, in the reality. The cult isn't fascist yet, not by the physical act - yet. But it's feeling affinity, attachment; it is aspiring and twitching for it; edging. It can be seen right in their words, nothing to add really. And if someone wants to ignore it there would be no explanations. What explanations were of any use, the last time it happened?
