UN independent panel rules Israel blockade of Gaza illegal
Rue replied to bud's topic in The Rest of the World
He is an extremist. He makes sweeping generalizations about all Muslims. That is to be challenged but dismissing him and Bud for what they are, people who not come on this forum to incite polarized responses won't deal with the issues. There are issues dealing with the Middle East. Rather than allowing these 2 to side track it with their own personal subjective biases go back and focus on the issues and ignore them as I have not. Lol. I need to follow my own friggin advise. One other thing and I want your opinion on it because while I disagree with you one things I know one thing you are not-a hateful person. What I also know is you are not some sort of bleeding heart either. Maybe in another thread more appropriate you can address his issue on problems assimilating new Canadians of religions or cultures that clash with our current "Western" values. I tend to think its a real issue, but I just don't see it with Muslims. I see it with many groups. I see it where I live now with Muslims, Sikhs, Hindus, Chinese, all struggling to assimilate and finding their cultural and religious values coming into conflict with Western values. I don't think its too far off probably what my grandparents or other immigrants faced when they came here and I think its more of an assimilation issue then one particular to one religion or culture. That said and getting back to this topic-the issue remains that Israel has the legal right to intercept ships at sea it fears are smuggling weapons to be used to kill Israelis. The UN said so and quite frankly what the UN says means diddle swat. The fact is Turkey the nation whose leader now tries to make brownie points in the Middle East bad mouthing Israel has his navy do the exact thing Israel's does. The Turkish navy has been intercepting ships it suspects of supporting Kurds. NATO regularly intercepts ships at sea suspected of running weapons or drugs. India, China, and many other navies have intercepted, boarded and sunk ships suspected of piracy. India blew one out of the water when it shot back at one of her ships. This bull crap double standard where Israel can not inspect ships is argued is only that. No you don't sit around picking your nose while someone brings in weapons to kill you hard as that is for Bud and some of you to fathom. No you don't engage in terrorism and flaunt international law, then claim it applies to you when its convenient to protect you from Israel. Turkey and Hamas can take their double standards and shove it up their righteous keesters. You want to play politics with the flotilla as Turkey did, it will come back as it has and blow up in their face. This country with its genocide of Armenians and now Kurds is in no position to lecture anyone on human rights. It engages in genocide of Kurds while it suddenly has concerns over Palestinians? Right. If Turkey thinks its pathetic attempt to recycle Nasser throguh Erdogan to try take back leadership of the Middle East from Eguypt is going to prevail think again-before that happens Erdogan will overplay his hand as he has done time and time again and commit such bloody genocide against Kurds as to permanently estrange the very Sunni Muslim states he now alienates by supporting Iran. The days of Israel bashing to try gain instant credibility in the Middle East are over. The schism between Sunni and Shiite is far too deep to try suspend it with a focus on hating Israel. The Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood will not forget what happened in Syria and blame Iran as much as they do the current Syrian regime and the current Turkish bafoon who started off supporting Assad only to back out not when he was wiping out Sunni Muslims but when he stopped wiping out Kurds. Even between enemies like the Sunni Muslims and Israel there is an honour code Erdogan flaunted. He got into bed with Iran as quick as he did Syria and his genocide of Kurds is not missed on Sunni Muslims who may not like Kurds but detest Alawites and Shiites far worse. Such is the world of complex tribal warfare and using Israel or Israelis or Jews as a scapegoat to unite all Muslims no longer works. It would not surporise me if Erdogan will be assassinated by his own Turkish military. As for the Palestinian people they are now being used by Erdogan as Nasser did once before-as pawns. All Erdogan cares about is crushing Kurds to maintain control of their oil and to pressure Israel and Cyprus into coughing up natural has reserves. This is simply about Turkey's leader trying to bully his way into power over the Middle East. Its only a matter of time until the US and Britain and therefore the rest of NATO abandon Turkey. Turkey has already thrown its lot in with China, Iran, Pakistan, Venenezuela and Brazil in an alliance designed to contain the US, Saudi Arabia, the Gulf Emirate states.the EU and India over world oil prices and access. Russia is desperately trying to play both sides but like China, its own internal problems with Muslim terrorists makes their alliances with Iran shaky at best. Turkey looks to want to bring Egypt, Syria and Yemen into its satellite of nations. The problem is Turkey has overplayed the schism with Shiites and Sunnis and is trying to force the 2 into an alliance against the U.S. and Israel which won't work because gone are the days when everything can be blamed on Israel and the U.S. The Arab world's own leaders long since replaced the big bad Yankees and Israelis as the daily threat to Muslim peoples in the Middle East and that won't change. -

The pretext of criticizing Zionists turns you into someone who makes not so subtle holocaust inversion comments over and over again in an effort to suggest Zionists are Nazis. The fact you put the word "some" in front of the word "Jews" fails to mask your blatant anti-semitism. Once again you refer to Jews when the pretext of this bullsheeyit thread was to criticize Israeli state policies. You are a classic example of someone who attacks Jews and uses the pretext of criticizing Israel to do it and the "some" does not sanitize what you do and make it politically correct. You are someone who comes to this forum to bait JEWS. Not SOME Jews, ALL Jews. You come to this forum to bait Jews and incite people to criticize Jews using alleged criticism of Israeli state policies as your pretext. Once I am on the topic. Bob now has come on this forum to make sweeping generalizations of all Muslims and Arabs no different then you do Jews. You both deserve each other. The only difference between the 2 of you is he does not hide his agenda and try pose himself as a leftist. SOME Jews. This one tells you that your personal attack against Jews and accusing them of being Nazis is pathetic and exposes you for what you are. -
Gost Hacked I have blasted you many a time on Middle East topics. I make no apologies for being a blaster. But I also don't only blast your face. I support it too. I blast and kiss equally. I know how to kick and kiss the same butt you know. On this thread I respond because although I take a no nonsense position on Bud and Israel being able to defend itself I do not come on this forum to blindly ignore any topic that shows Israel has problems. Of course it does. Here is what I say in response to you. The political dissent you see in Israel is very real. Of course. Things are tough economically. Being under a constant state of seige drains its economy and its people. The dissent is real but I will say this, you will not see Israelis being killed as they were in Egypt and Syria or lit on fire with rubber necklaces or disappearing from the streets late at night. No political opponents will continue to speak loudly in the Knesset, on the streets, in the media, in the courts, through the hundreds of political, interest and human rights groups. Israel will continue to struggle as it juggles issues with a wide range of Jews with different cultures, ethnic traditions, languages, religious beliefs, and views as to gender not to mention domestic politics. Israel has always been an open bubbling constant debate of political views colliding with one another. The best way I can describe Israelis is to say take a look at Italians pr Greeks or Jamaicans. What they all share in common is they are combustible people impossible to govern if I may make a tongue in cheek generalization. You want calm, gentle, layed back people, you might have to go to P.E.I. Then again when people on that island curl, they can get quite testy.

israeli foreign minister wants to support a terrorist organization
Rue replied to bud's topic in The Rest of the World
Pathetic. You list terrorist group(S)in your title now try back up and say you only mean PKK. 100% true.Right Because you say so.Once again you demonstrate you express a subjective opinion with NO PROOF or evidence to back up your opinion but claim it as a fact. Its what you do. Spew allegations with no proof and proclaim because its your subjective opinion, its truth. Considering you support and advocate terrorism against Israel your sudden concern Israel is supporting terrorists is laughable. Secondly, Israel of course would support the Iran wing of the PKK as does the US and Britain and other nations. Why would they not? You want to play games? Oh look Israel supports the PKK. Of course it would if its to its advantage. See unlike you Bud, I didn't come to this forum to play the fool. Your point Bud that since Israel supports terrorist PKK makes supporting Hamas acceptable is about as logical and meaningful as the other poster suggesting since he finds BOB an extremist you can be one too. Of course your brain couldn't possibly fathom the lack of logic in what you advance or the fact that your attempt to suggest if I support Israel I must be a terrorist is equally as illogical. Its what you do Bud-engage in black and white name calling. You can't conceive of anything but rigid all or nothing propositions. -

Get this straight. When you come on this board as you do and engage in holocaust inversion its there for anyone to read and it becomes public domain as much as you would like to deny it. What you do time and time again is engage in expressing hateful opinions. You use references that slur all holocaust survivors, Jews and supporters of Israel as well as Israelis and its government of being Nazis. You throw out allegations as to the motives of Israeli state action with zero proof. You throw out subjective opinions which you then suggest are facts. You have yet in one post to provide any reference or corroborated evidence for your opinions. What you do is come on this forum to Jew bait and Israel bait, no more, no less. Now you want to call me out as having a tantrum be my guest. If having a tantrum means calling you out and challenging you and calling you a troll and hate monger who has sullied this forum and lowered its level of discussion on the Middle East then you bet I am having a tantrum. You are someone whose sole contribution on this board has been to incite hatred against Israel. Your words speak for themselves as much as you try deny them or their content. Unlike you by the way, I don't deny one word I have stated on this forum. -

israeli foreign minister wants to support a terrorist organization
Rue replied to bud's topic in The Rest of the World
Your decision to lower yourself to baiting Jews, Israelis, holocaust survivors and supports of Israel's right to exist as Nazis speaks for itself. The title of this thread is a blatant attempt to incite hatred and troll and its high time this Forum got off its butt and reign you in. I ask the forum moderator again, does it matter that his insult is not directed at a specific person to make its comments just as repugnant as if I called him a Nazi and terrorist? Well? What is the difference? How many more slurs do you need broadcast on this forum by him before you reign him in? How many more insults against holocaust survivors do you want to pass off as reasonable political debate? -

It is not ironic you come on this forum and troll and engage in holocaust inversion and engage in the same negative stereotypes trying to incite hatred about Jews, Israelis, holocaust survivors and supporters of Israel's right to exist. Its interesting because I would be the first told not to insult you personally but your gutter comments are permitted as political debate on this forum rendering you and the forum a joke. -

His attempt to use the Palestinian card to become leader of the Middle East has misfired badly. To start with he overplayed his hand with Syria and Israel. The dummy wanted to portray himself as the mediator between Israel and Syria but formed an alliance between Hezbollah and Iran before he tried to play mediator making his claims to be neutral to Israel absurd. Erdogan formed an alliance with the Iranians and Hezbollah to crush the Kurds and then approached Syria with the same proposition. What Edogan did not understand is Assad is a sociopath who trusts no one and when he saw Turkey coming new there was a price to pay Turkey wasn't willing to pay it. The Ottoman Empire's tyrannic rule over the Sunni Middle East is not forgotten. Erdogan's sudden playing of the Palestinian card to rebuild an Ottoman Empire aint gonna fly with Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States and Jordan, all created as British loyalist monarchies to offset Turkey's influence before, during and after WW1. For anyone who bothers to trace Turkey's latest sudden claim to being a champion of Palestinians can find it directly relates back to a threat to Israel that Turkey would play the Palestinian card if Israel in any way supported the Kurds. Israel like the U.S. backs the Kurds against Iran. It was Turkey who decided to come in on the side of Iran over the Kurds rather than find a peaceful way to deal with them. Israel backs the Iran Kurd wing of the PLK not the rest of it because it is working with students and opposition in Iran to replace its government. It has supported Kurds not so secretly since 1980 but to airlift Jewish Kurds out or with humanitarian assistance or with arms to right invasions by Iraqis and Iranians. Turkey decided to invade Iraq's Kudish areas thinking this would prevent an independent Kurd state forming in North Iraq. Morally Israel could not sit back after Hussein mass gased Kurds in Iraq with full preapproval from Turke for obvious reasons. That was the last straw for Israel with the Turks and what you see today relates right back to that fatal day when Kurds were mass exterminated with gas. It forced Israel's hand to defend the Kurds even if Turkey was their ally at that time. Turkey fears a Kurd independent state. So in one breath it criticizes Israel for being against a Palestinian state, while in the next breath it commits genocide against Kurds trying to create a state of their own. Interesting but don't hold your breath waiting for the usual shrills on this board to point out Turkey's absolute two faced hipocracy. Erdogan fears losing control all the oil rich deposits in North Iraq so let's not kid ourselves what this is about. If you think he worries about Palestinians and has genuine concerns about them think again. In one breath he accuses the PLK of being terrorist and being against terrorism and in the next breath openly champions Hezbollah, Hamas and terrorism, as long as it suits his political purposes. Israel is an evil state he says for crushing Palestinian aspirations of statehood while he does the same with Kurds. Israel is an unethical state he claims while he backs Iran's facist regime that each day tortures and kills political opponents and his forces do the same against innocent Kurd civilians. Now let's get to the crux of the matter. Huge natural has deposits were found off the coast of Israel. Ooopsy, Turkey is left out. There's Israel and Cyprus offering to share in a consortium with American investors but once again Turkey feels shut out. So it plays the Palestinian card thinking Israel will back down and give it a share of the gas to avoid its navy. The announcement by Turkey that it would escort a flotilla with navy ships to Gaza is pure b.s. It was announced the very day after Greece announced a mutual military alliance with Israel saying if Turkey attacked Israel, Greece would defend Israel. Anyone who missed the timing can check it for themselves. Its tit for tat. Did Turkey think by forming an alliance with Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran Israel would shrivel up and whimper? All the fool in Turkey has done is cause both India and Greece to form a naval alliance with Israel. In the real world his posturing has forced other foes of Turkey to have to align with Israel. India can no more permit the Iranian navy to build up next door to it endangering its shipping lanes any more than Israel can. If Turkey wants to pose as the country that will replace Egypt and do what no Arab country has done, beat up Israel, to gain some brownie points he has blown it. No one cares. Syria is imploding. So is Egypt. The Sunni Muslim radicals in Egypt and Syria consider him the enemy for siding with Hezbollah and Iran who are openly assisting in the extermination of Sunni Muslims in Syria and ooopsy elsewhere. Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait and the Gulf Arab states consider Iran and the Shiite fundamentalists who erdogan champions as their biggest enemy not Israel but the dummy thinks he will unify Shiites and Sunnis against Israel. Did Erdogan really think he could win over the Sunni Muslim world forming an alliance with Shiites? What an idiot. Does anyone hear think NATO will allow Turkey to remain a NATO member if it provokes an incident with Greece and Israel? By the way Mr. Ashley, last time I looked NATO boards and inspects boats no differently than Israel and the last thing they can do for that very reason is criticize Israel for doing what they do as well. On top of being a blithering hipocrate over the Kurds and Palestinians we should also point out Turkey, oh yes, that same Turkey alsosearches ships at high sea suspected of carrying drugs, terrorist weapons or aiding and abetting the Kurds or pirates from Somalia. Erdogan is a joke. His posturing will back fire as the very Sunni Muslim world he thinks he is winning over playing the evil Zionist card will turn on him for siding with Iran. The question is will the Turkish military sit back for much longer as well? This is the same militry that arrested and jailed the very terrorists he released and sent in the last flotillas to stage a confrontation with Israel. Let's see if Erdogan has the loyalty of the Turkish Armed forces.

Of course you do. You have repeated your support over and over again flooding this board with your comments supporting both and terrorism against Israel. Not only that you have repeatedly used this board to advance unsubstantiated allegations as to the motives of not just the Israeli government, but all Israelis, all Jews, and anyone who support's Israel's right to exist. If your dialogue was directed at a person instead of Israel you would be criticized for being personally offensive. Because you direct it at a country and a general category of all Jews, Israelis and anyone who supports Israel, its permitted on this board as political discussion. In my opinion you present zero facts, just the usual anti Israel rhetoric over and over again. So for you to come on this board and now pretend you don't support Hezbollah, Hamas, violence and terrorism against Israel and the dismantling of Israel by any means necessary is a crock. At least have the integrity to admit what you are and what you stand for and that is someone who openly supports ending Israel by violence if necessary and inciting hatred against any of us who support Israel's right to exist. That is what your rhetoric on this board shows and your sudden denial is absurd. In fact you are a classic example of someone who doesn't just point out disagreements with Israeli policies but repeats blatant hatred against the right of Israelis to exist as a people. Spare the innocence. We all have read what you have written. Since you decided to use this dialogue as you do all dialogue on this conflict to direct once again attentiont to yourself I say again-what you think, what you stand for, how you feel, makes no difference to how this world will function either today, tomorrow or the day after. You are not the issue as much as you try draw attention to yourself in each and every post.

Indigenous was used in a political context to describe people living in Canada before the Europeans came. It was used juast as the word "native" or "aboriginal" was. Legally its meaning comes from how it would be defined in any given statute. Indigenous when used to describe habitats describes plants, animals, that are native to the region and were not brought in by humans. So for example a Norway Rat is not indigenous to North America. It originated they believe in Asia somewhere in Vietnam or perhaps Borneo and then slowly moved both by foot and boat. Starlings the bird, are not indigenous to Canada they came here with humans as did pigeons which are rock doves. Lampreys were not indigenous to the Great Lakes but came to them after humans built the St. Lawrence seaway and provided a way for them to get there. Zebra mussels are not indigenous to North America as they piggy backed in the ballast of ships from Europe. Now are native peoples indigenous. We say yes because we say they came from Asia and Mongolia by walking over the ice from Russia nd slowly making their way into the Americas. We call them indigenous because as far as we know they did not come after any other people before them. In the Canadian legal context we make a clear distinction between the indigenous or aboriginal nations ad their peoples and the Europeans who came after them and founded Canada, i.e., the French and British. We make no reference to the Vikings who some say came here early as well. Canada's constitution envisioned the native indigenous peoples of North America, the French and the British. It then over the years added a 4th component, the "others", i.e., everyone else who has come other than the 3 components I mentioned. The 4 components are seen to be equal by our constitution but what makes the aboriginal peoples collective rights unique is they are seen to have been inherited by the Canadian government from Britain and recognized as a fundamental component of our legal system. The native peoples were defined as a collective of collectives and recognized as having the right to their own parallel laws within their collective of collectives just as we created 12 provinces each with their own governments. The constitution has always recognized the collective of collectives and its right to parallel government internal rule just as it balances provincial jurisdictions with the federal one. The constitution however says, the collective of collectives of native people deals with the federal government, not provincial governments. Jurisdiction to interact with it is soley done at the federal level unless the various nations of the collective consent to dealing with provinces. The constitution does NOT force the native peoples to recognize the provincial government or deal with it if they don't want to but it does not allow the native peoples to opt out of confederation but still demand rights as if it was a member of the confederation. It can't have it both ways. If it wants to be part of the federal nation, then its collective rights are recognized. If it walks away then its hard to say what happens. All that is clear is provinces can't usurp federal jurisdiction and force their laws on native peoples. For example if Quebec wanted to seperate, it has no jurisdiction as it assumes to seize 80% of the province recognized by the federal government as having land treaties giving the native peoples collective rights to use them and remain part of the federal nation. Quebec's government only has jurisdiction over certain geographic areas without preceding native land claims the feds inherited.
-
No of course not Saipan. In fact no one in the legal community dealing with aboriginal treaty issues argues the Canadian government has NOT violated the treaties. The only thing in dispute right now is how much compensation to pay. As for the social problems of the native peoples, I am no bleeding heart. Yes they have been gripped by self destructive social malaise but let's get real-that social malaise is deeply related to a cultural clash still to be resolved and the problems of the native peoples in rural areas is no different then with white people in rural areas-lack of work and isolation drives humans to self destructive behaviour regardless of race. Russia, Sweden, Norway, Alaska all struggle with high suicide rates and fatal and alcohol related accidents with cars, etc. As well if we disqualified native peoples from their collective rights because some of them drink, oopsy what do you do with all us non natives who drink? Seriously Saipan, the collective legal rights of native peoples that preceded the creation of Canada in 1867 and were inherited by our consitutional legal system are not in question-the amount of compensation is. I am not about to finger point about the behaviour of self destruction in the native communities. I think the native peoples will have to deal with it but what I can say is our non native society has the same problems too. The constitutional traditions The Bambino tries to explain recognize the treaties deliberately and do not allow the current government or its preceding or proceeding ones to avoid the legal issues that will have to be resolved and are slowly. There's problems yes but the legal system as flawed or slow as it may be is all we have and its a hell of a lot better then what you find in the majority of the world so rather than put it down, I will work with it and I say again as I guess an unreal lawyer, over the many posts The Bambino has done as good a job explaining the constitutional system as well as any legal teacher I know. Most of what he says is apolitical. He's just stating it as it works. The politics of feeling some are entitled and some are not is not something law is supposed to do. Its supposed to assure the law applies to all equally and consistently. Is it subject to politically partisan compromise, yes sure, but the constitution tries to balance all the partisan arguements to see they can be accommodated. Sure democracy has its limitations but can anyone explain to me a better system than our Parliamentary one? I would love to hear. Please don't tell me China or Russia or the US system or the French or Italian ones. No thanks. Also not Taiwan. They slap each other silly in their assembly. I am being a bit tongue in cheek.

UN calls israeli raid 'excessive', 'unreasonable' and
Rue replied to bud's topic in The Rest of the World
..But you know I love you and your chutzbah. Kudos. You are far more patient than I. I commend you. Fact is this issue resolved itself after the fact when the people on the boat admitted some were in fact organized terrorists sent to stage an incident and had weapons. what is now ironic is the Turks who staged this incident are the same righteous individuals now doing to the Kurds what they claim Israel is doing to the citizens of Gaza. This was a politically staged incident by Turkey and unfortunately as it now has become evident its caught up in a far greater tit for tat being played out in this area of the world as Turkey and Iran form one alliance to fight the Kurds, and Israel finds itself forced to align with Greece and the Kurds and India as to naval defence concerns and the US caught in the middle. Turkey could care less about Palestinians as it demonstrates as to how easy it is for it to carry out genocide of Kurds for wanting a state while accusing Israel of the same with Palestinians. It had no problem forming an alliance with Syria to crush Kurds in Syria before itpanicked realizing it propped a dying government and ooopsy retreated. In Bloody's world Turkey and who ever believes what he does, is "good" and Israel and anyone who sides with Israel is "bad". The reality is Israelis, Kurds, Palestinians, Iranians, citizens of all these nations get squeezed as their governments go tit for tat with their alliances trying to control geographic zones. As we speak India will not sit for the Iranian navy growing and threatening its shipping waters and serving as a proxy for India's competitor China in harassing Indian trade by sea to gain Chinese advantage as they both compete for the same goods and supplies and delaying ship movement to sail around the Iranian navy can give China getting access to markets India would otherwise arrive at earlier. Turkey suddenly showed interest in Syria for 2 yeasons-one a destination to ship oil to Europe and two as a common ally against Kurds. Both blew up in Turkey's face. This little Turkish righteous display suddenly over Palestinians was an attempt to pose as a mediator between Syria and Israel only the pretense collapsed as it became clear Turkey's alliance with Iran and its proxy Hezbollah may have been started to contain Kurds and prevent them from starting their own state but has backed Shiite militants against Kurds who also attack Sunni Muslims in Syria and Egypt. Ooops. What did Turkey really expect Israel to do-roll over when it started using Palestinians as a pawn to make itself look tough to the Arab world with Israel? Really? Israel of course turned to Greece and Cyprus. It jas just discovered natural has off its coast it will share with Cyprus and ship to Greece who will now champion Israel's cause in the EU in return for Israel helping out Greece's debts with cheap gas. Just yesterday Israel and Greece signed a military alliance. Gee why. Gee when Turkey cut off its ties with Israel who would have thought Turkey's no.1 enemy would offer Israel friendship. Golly gee like Israel and India would not share concerns over the Iranian navy. Golly gee the Israelis would never assist the PKK Iran wing try resist the current government in Iran imagine that. The fact is Turkey tried to bully Israel into abandoning the Kurds and when Israel would not, it then set the stage with the flotilla incidents and that did not work either. Now Turkey tries to save face threatening to escort the next flotilla with its navy ships. Right. The moment it said that NATO was on the phone saying uh no, we won't risk a war between two NATO members let alone the Israeli navy a strategic ally of NATO naval missions in the Middle East to contain terrorist shipment of weapons. Its a tit for tat and one must follow the bouncing ball but in Bloody's world we operate on a WWE script with one bad guy and one good guy and where people like American Woman must be wrong if they can't see the same black and white. Fact is Israel has the right in international waters to intercept ships it suspects of carrying weapons to be used against it as all nations do. Fact is NATO carries out the very same search missions on ships every day. Fact is if Turkey thinks it will send Navy ships to escort ships into Gaza under international war that would be considered an act of beligerence and grounds for war and no Israel does not have to sit silently and allow the Turkish navy to escort in ships with weapons for terrorists. If those ships have no weapons then this is all a moot point because after inspection they are allowed to move on and Turkey has been finessed because Greece and Cyprus have alread offered to inspect the ships instead of Israel and serve as mediator. Ooopsy Turkey finessed itself right out of its role of alleged mediator. Turkey chose its fate. It chose to embrace Iran as its strategic ally and trot out the blame Israel card to try suck up Arab support for it becoming the leader of the Middle East. Let's see how long the military generals in Turkey allow themselves to be continued to be drawn into a war with Israel and Greece and getting the US caught in the middle. -

Yeesh I lost track of the number of moral assumptions not to mention the fact that in addition to being an expert on ethics and morality you are now as well a hand to hand combat expert. Your expertise just never ends. I love the lecture, "they could have".... "they took the most dangerous and least rational approach"....my but we love making pronouncements with butkus to base our assumptions on now don't we.... You clearly need to go back and actually find out what happened before the IDF boarded the boat it did. -
I actually erased my original response to you realizing it would be a waste. The only one who was moralizing was you going bah and presuming he SHOULD feel comfortable. Zip over your head. Keep working on the Celine Dion comment. p.s. I can't stand all religions and religious people for the same reason, now go report me to Olivia Chow (oops that might be too cryptic for you as well) p.s.s. when someone tells you they don't feel comfortable, hold your breath ten seconds before you judge them-it will give them time to move before you then pass your gas I mean pronoucement-not all of us are as oh so enlightened as thou-oh wait how about you lecture me on circumcision next, gevalt

Funny she looks Jewish.

Why bah? Are you praying? Is that a prayer of some kind?

Get out. I thought Celine Dion was Catholic.

Lol. Thanks you old goat. I suppose the best thing is zero response. Now you I respond to. Lol. Listen Wild One I just want to settle the record straight about the alleged countries I considered before I chose Israel. Just so you know, I never considered Argentina. If I was gonna go anywhere in South America for sure it would have been Brazil. Hands down the best looking women in the world next to of course Israeli, Cuban, and Persian women. I toyed with the idea of moving all of us to Miami but for the same reason I did not choose Argentina or Brazil I did not choose Miami and today here for the first time I will share with the world the truth. Too many of my people just can not dance and the Latinos made us look bad in the clubs. We never did get that salsa thing nor the Tango which is why Argentina was never even a remote consideration (not to mention Juan Peron was an open admirer of Hitler but hey why let that bother us, it was really the dancing we couldn't keep up with). Someone did mention Manitoba but Jews who had moved to Winnipeg reported back to me about people "curling" and so I immediately know it would not work out. My people don't like to push brooms in their spare time especially on slippery surfaces. So Israel it was.

Bob we started the CBC and make no mistake about it hoping to imitate the BBC. All commonwealth nations had such a thing, Australia, Jamaica, etc. It was part of our British heritage and quite frankly an attempt to not go American. Lol, ironically our airwaves were soon taken over by the American television stations in the 50's and then 60's and the CBC never preserved English Canadian culture. Some would argue it has served a better purpose in protecting French Canadian culture. Of course in this day and age the CBC is past its point of meaning. It can't serve as a bastion of protection for Canadian culture. Satellite t.v. and specialty channels have put the final coffin in the nail as did government cut backs. Its now a joke and its carcass needs to be cremated and the few NDP it still employs need to be sent packing. The fact is though whether its the CBC or any other station, they all reflect their biases. The only difference is the CBC uses our tax money the others do not. I find the snotty nasal toned presumptious lecturing tone of CBC FM hilarious. I do like the Jazz show. However the whole thing needs to have a stake put through its heart.

He uses quite a simple concept actually and I quote: "...am not bound by Canadian law. (because I have not consented to it)." Interestingly its an arguement his own leaders categorically rejected it because if that was true, then the reverse would also have to hold true and we could then argue we are not bound by any of the treaties we signed and escape any further legal obligations to compensate the first nations peoples. Mr. Bambino I give you cultural clearance to borrow the word "oy" and use it. You can use the word "vey" after "oy" as well. Still good to see you taking the effort to try explain the constitution. You always do a good job of it.
