  1. So long as he stays away from the teenies, no harm no foul....
  2. "Level 12 rad racer." Yeah..... He's reinventing himself as he goes along. Sorta like his man, Nugent.
  3. No, no translation needed...as I said, you keep inventing positions for me that I do not hold. Further, you actually agree with this point...you just don't care. This makes intelligent debate extremely difficult...which of course is by your design.
  4. No, I mean a certain propensity for underage teen girls. All part of his support from the Traditional Family Values sector of society.
  5. If by "interesting" you mean your continual strawmen and bad habit of inventing positions for other posters, I strenuously disagree. I understand that being part of the effete, shivering far-right demands a lack of basic literacy. But I contend that this is not at all my fault.
  6. Well, considering the poster's avatar (if you click on his profile), it would appear his sexual tastes run in a slightly different, more....controversial direction.
  7. The NY chapter of the Anti-Defamation League has also spoken out agaisnt Geller and her ads.
  8. Since you question the use of the term "disease" (and many people do), I'm not sure I understand why you put "addicted" in quotation marks.
  9. Fortunately it's impossible. But it does display the way he thinks, so it's educational.
  10. ???? Well, sure they are.
  11. I never said (nor vaguely hinted) that it is even close to the only issue. But it's definitely a part of the problem, as everyone but kraychik understands.
  12. Absolutely. And Argus himself very intelligently (if somewhat harshly, Argus-style) debated Kraychik into the ground (in my opinion).
  13. This doesn't make sense. If, as you say, "things have drifted so far," then we're not talking about "the left" who "truly believe they are the centre." We are talking about the centre, at some point, aren't we? Same sex marriage is practically mainstream, now, in that a majority of Canadians apparently accept it. So it's not "left." It was--the "left" were evidently ahead of the curve, more attuned with contemporary life--but now it is not. Now it's centrist, mainstream. There are trends in society, some maybe conservative ones, some maybe liberal. But it's not static. Eventually, it just is, it's a normal and usual part of social life. At that point, it is mainstream.
  14. I'm not talking about women in business, I'm talking about reality television programs...which are edited, and which, it would seem inevitably, characters are "written"--whether directly, or, more often I imagine, through the editing process. I strongly suspect that the people themselves rather naturally fall into the act of playing to character, which adds to the fictionalization. You are not watching "reality," in the sense that this is the way people would behave anyway, were the cameras not present. (And that point evades another layer...the editing process, which I've mentioned already.) Reality shows have (not always, but usually) villains and good guys; someone to root for and someone else to wish for their comeuppance...much like watching the soap-y dramas they have distinctly replaced, like "Melrose Place" and Dynasty." ("The Real Housewife Douchebags of Such-and-Such," anyone?) "The Apprentice" is no different. Hell, what do you think you're watching when the dramatic music cues up, for chrissake, and when there is a long and pregnant dramatic pause, until finally someone is chosen...or "fired,"....which has nothing to do with the business ostensibly at hand (or not much) and everything to do with the business of dramatic television fiction?
  15. Well, now I think of it, even if you were a proponent, you'd still presumably object...based on the unfairness of exempting some but not the others, as you say. So fair enough.
  16. Well, Ms. Geller is a rather grotesque individual.
  17. For crying out loud, more than half the Knesset thinks they're a serious obstacle., as do both major parties of their Superpower patron. But kraychik knows better than the Israelis themselves! Sort of like the End-Times Evangelicals, who "love" Israel for...rather unpleasant reasons. (Hell, maybe ol' kraychik is one of these lunatics?)
  18. Seriously. If you're going to be a troll, at least put some intelligence and dignity into it. Bush_Cheney2004, for example, was very talented at the process.
  19. Ok, thanks. Sure, yeah, I get what you mean. So in that light, allow me to clarify, and to put it in a better way: I do suspect that some sort of oversensitivity to racial issues is at play; but I'm willing to admit that I could be wrong, and so am "deferring judgement"....though honestly I somewhat doubt I'll see anything to change my view. Time will (maybe) tell.
  20. No doubt he would have been throwing stones at the arriving Irish immigrants in NY in 1860 along with the rest of the (white) "natives." The Irish are dirty, uncivilized and...wait for it!...too religious and warlike, dontcha know.
  21. Zero taxes on corporations? I apologize in advance if I have mistaken your view.
  22. Yeah, the "are you now or have you ever" bit isn't likely to garner a lot of salient information either way.
  23. But wouldn't you support exactly this tax policy?
  24. OK, then now it's been answered. ????
  25. There's nothing sdacred about it, I'm only mildly (but not terribly) surprised at your ignorance on the subject. Are you serious?
