  1. Was, A REAL GOVERNMENT DOESN'T DEVIATE FROM A PLAN, IT WORKS. JUST LIKE PEOPLE CAN. GOVERNMENT COSTS SHOULD NOT INCREASE, THEY SHOULD DECREASE IF PRODUCTIVITY DECLINES. INCREASING DEBT ONLY SHOWS INCOMPETENCE OF ECONOMIC MANAGEMENT! There is no reason why spending should go up if productivity declines. On the contrary there should be less demand, and thus only esssential services would be required. IF productivity decreases so should spending proportional to the drop in revenue intake from incomes stream like taxes. Inflation likewise could be increase and taxes on wealth transfer to prevent asset flight. WEALTH PRODUCTION IS GAURENTEED IF CONSUMPTION(and waste) IS LOWER THAN PRODUCTION. If Canada directs the unemployed to non perishable resources accumulation wealth will be insured. EI makes people lazy. It should be mandatory work or employment training, send them to the mines and otherwise develop the resources of the land. Co-Op gardens, the EMPTY factories making essential goods. END IMPORTS AND BUY VICTORY PRODUCTS FOR A MORE PRODUCTIVE AND WEALTHY DEBT FREE CANADA WWIII THE WAR ON DEBT! IiI IiI IiI THE WAR ON DEBT! LET THE PHAOROHS OF JACOB BE A MODEL TO ENSHRINE! WE SHOULD STORE FOR TIMES OF LACK NOT BLAZE IN THE SIN OF INDULGANCE OF SODOM FOR SODOMIZATION WILL NOT BE ENJOYED BY MANY. END TAX SODOMY THAT DEBT SPENDING BRINGS AND END ECONOMIC SODOMY PROGRAMS OF THE SODOMSYMPATHIZERS THE CPC! If every Canadian earning more than 46,000 just put in a one time payment of 10% their income our debt would be gone, instead they are likely buying 10 bonds and adding to our future debt. Why a bonus when earnings are already more than the rest of Canadians? We need a YEAR OF CLEANSING!!!! STRUGGLE FOR 1 YEAR.. CONSERVATIVE GOVERNMENT IF YOU WANT TO DO GOOD FOR CANADA MAKE A 1 YEAR DEBT TAX ON THE WEALTHY TO REMOVE THE DEBT IN TOTALITY! IT IS MOSTLY NEGLIGIBLE BECAUSE THEY LIKELY OWN MOST OF THAT ANYWAY. END CANADIANS SODIMIZATION DO GOOD FOR CANADA GOD COMMANDETH THEE! 11. DO NOT ACCUMULATE DEBT FOR IT BRINGS THE SODOMIZATION OF THE PEOPLE! IT IS NOT A DEFAULT IT IS A CLEansing. 365 days TO FREE CANADA... GOD DID IT FOR ISRAEL MORE THAN ONCE.. DO IT FOR CANADA JUST THIS ONCE... A YEAR OF CLEANSING... stop debt. WITH PUBLIC GARDENS, PUBLIC HOUSING, AND FOOD STOCKPILES WE CAN DO IT! THE NATIVES had less than modern Canadians. 1 year is all it will take... ONE YEAR OF WEALTH TAX... TO END THE DEBT (it will not only pay down the debt but alongside stoping bonds and tbills Canada can eliminate 90% of the capability to accrue future debt. They just arn't doing it right. They are giving future benefits to the rich instead of taxing on a basis that pays for today. Why isn't that threshold just shifted so that the rich pay an equal share? And that we reduce excess unneeded spending. IT IS SANITY. The ways of yesteryear are unfair to the public, irresponsible to the public and just plane WRONG. Morally corrupt, and evil. We need an ECONOMIC REVOLUTION .. WE NEED PEOPLE THAT ARE IN FAVOUR OF THE PUBLIC BENEFIT NOT THE RICH ALONE. RAISE ARMS IN SOLIDARITY.. EVISCERATE! FOR AN UNYOKED FUTURE !!! FREE THE PEOPLE FROM THE EXTORTION AND SLAVERY MURDER THE DEBT KILL THE INCOME TAX. SLAUGHTER THE GST! FREE THE PEOPLE ONLY TAX FOR WHAT IS GIVEN AND IS DEMANDED BY THE PEOPLE! NO MORE CLOUD LINING! NO MORE LINING THE POCKETS OF THE CORRUPT, THE ELECTION RIGGERS AND THE PARTISAN BLOCK, RAISE THE VOICE FOR THE PEOPLE RATHER THAN THE PARTY OF CORRUPT AND TAINTED IRRESPONSIBLE RULE. RISE UP! RISE! UP! EVISCERATE! FORGET OCCUPATION!!! LIBERATE!!!! LIBERATE CANADA FROM THE RULE OF SATAN! THE RULE OF SODOM! THE RULE OF STEPHEN HARPER! RISE UP AND LIBERATE FOR YOUR CHILDREN, FOR THEIR CHILDREN, FOR YOUR RETIREMENT! RISE UP! Now before Ms. Frank is in a cattle car with the rest of the cows. End the inferno that is being unleashed by false economic policies! RISE. The Harper Government is failing the to uphold the LAW. END THE DEBT!
  2. GST should be compeltely scrapped and replaced with a direct DEBT TAX that apays down municipal debt, if there is no municipal debt it should go to the province, if no provincial debt it should go to the federation. BUT NO I don't think it should exist. GST WAS IMPLEMENTED TO PAY DOWN THE DEBT NOT GENERATE REVENUE 100% OF GST SHOULD BE APPLIED TO PAY DOWN THE DEBT! LIKEWISE NO DEFICIT SPENDING UNTIL THE DEBT IS PAID OFF.... IF YOU WANT SPECIAL MILITARY TAXES INTRODUCE THEM AS SUCH, STOP ACCUMULATING GENERAL REVENUE FOR PARISAN PET PROJECTS PAY OFF THE DEBT AND STOP STEALING FROM THE PUBLIC TO EMBEZZLE MONEY TO YOUR CRONIES! IT WAS BECAUSE OF THE LAST CONSERVATIVE MAJORITY GOVERNMENT THAT THE TAX WAS IMPLEMENTED IN THE FIRST PLACE TO OFFSET DEBT ACCUMULATED AFTER ALL THE PRIVATIZATIONS OF PUBLIC ASSETS WERE EXHAUSTED. NOW THEY ARE TAKING THAT 2% REDUCTION THAT BOUGHT THEM AN ELECTION AND INCREASING IT!!! WHAT SCAMMERS! right right its not happening only a suggestion... PAY DOWN THE DEBT AND STOP DEFICIT SPENDING KEYNESIAN ECONOMICS HAS ONLY DEMONSTRATED THAT COUNTRIES GO IN DEBT WHEN THEY DEFICIT SPEND! We should see how austrialia has used or NOT used keynesian economics TO BE A DEBT FREE COUNTRY! SHAME ON CANADA AND THE PARTISAN THEIVES IN OFFICE! http://www.treasury.gov.au/documents/1496/PDF/01_Debt.pdf THE EXTRA MONEY RAISED THROUGH EXPANDING GST TAXATION COULD BE GAINED BY SIMPLY NOT SPENDING BILLIONS OF DOLLARS ON DEFENCE EQUIPMENT THAT WONT DEFEND CANADA IN A WAR AND APPLYING THAT TO NOT GOING IN DEBT THAT MONEY SAVING 50% OF THAT AMOUNT ON DEBT REPAYMENT AND INTEREST INCURED DUE TO EXPEnDITURES THAT HAVE NO ECONOMIC BENEFIT TO CANADA! EXAMPLE WHY BUY OVER A 1000 BUNKER BURSTING GUIDED BOMB CASINGS? THAT IS 2x the number of bombs canada has bought and it only has a handful of aircraft... ??? LIKE OVER A BILLION DOLLARS WORTH OF GUIDED BOMBS? WHO IS CANADA ATTACKING? OR ARE WE BOMBING OURSELVES IN DEFENCE? What are purchases like this for? http://www.strategypage.com/htmw/htairw/articles/20110525.aspx What are 50 f35's for? What is a new navy for in an age of missiles that will sink those boats in seconds or railguns that can do it from over 150 km away? Is there a reason Russia or china can't make these over the next decade? http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/80beats/2010/12/13/navys-new-railgun-shoots-at-mach-7-can-hit-targets-100-miles-away/ Or what about these? Are these not going to make the f35 defence irrelevant? http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/80beats/2010/04/27/darpa-loses-contact-with-mach-20-hypersonic-glider-during-test-flight/ Like look at what was achieved with the peacekeeper 40 years ago... the think could deliver nuclear Armageddon anywhere in the world in minutes. Why throw 100 billion dollars at the last generations toys of war? That could reduce the debt load eliminating 1/3rd of the debt the CPC under Stephen Harper has accumulated in office. Reducing total debt accumulated since 1867 by close to 1/6th. The f35 is 20 year old technology, and I can see that there is anything modern in the new Navy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGM-118_Peacekeeper http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGM-30_Minuteman The US is down to 450 of these things, the least canada can do is aquire them instead of seeing them scrapped. It is the Iraqification of America, we should pick up missiles before they are trashed. Notice how the missiles are good until 2030.. the US ought to have even more advanced missiles by that point. THE PAST WAY OF MAKING WAR WILL BECOME INCREASINGLY REDUDANT ONLY 5 or 10 years after the planes and boats enter service.. IT IS A WASTE OF TAX PAYER DOLLARS! We could focus a high powered laser on something and burn it like a bug by then. Reducing Seniors Pension Benfits is not the only way to reduce the public debt. Why should Canadians pensions be going to US companies executive bonuses and American Pensions? http://www.asian-defence.net/2011/05/usa-f-35-jsf-vs-russian-su-35s.html Oh and the SU 35 has a price tag half that of the f35. if not less.
  3. only $15 million on a second offence, they must be making more than 15 million selling the pucks right.. it would be unfortuante if someone thought that it was cm's on there and not inches and bought the puck only to find out it was much larger. The nature of the internet directly seems to contravene the competititon act though. companies sending advertising content to canadians could be subject to millions and millions of dollars in fines.
  4. Obviously though they were being sold in the US. --- the gap however is marketing allowance vs. in store sales.. it is product marking.. the marketing aspect is being contravened. Sports which have been around for longer than metric or when the "Canadian" system was being used likely have updated their rules. Lables in Canada are required to show both inches and cms, it is likely americans or old folks that are making the error in only listing inches - technically the product can't be sold without metrics on the packaging as far as I'm aware. http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/W-6/ The Weights and Measures Act mandates that the metric system of measurement is the primary system of measurement in Canada. While a metric declaration of measure is required, in most cases it is also possible to have a non-metric declaration in appropriate form. USE OF UNITS OF MEASUREMENT Use of units of measurement 7. No person shall, in trade, use or provide for the use of a unit of measurement unless (a) that unit of measurement is set out and defined in Schedule I or II; or ( the use of that unit of measurement is authorized by the regulations. 1970-71-72, c. 36, s. 7. SEIZURE AND DETENTION Seizure 39. (1) Where an inspector believes on reasonable grounds that any provision of this Act or the regulations has been contravened, the inspector may seize and detain any device, commodity or packaging and labelling material by means of or in relation to which the inspector believes on reasonable grounds the contravention occurred. Examination and samples of seized articles (2) Where an inspector has seized and detained any device, commodity or other thing pursuant to subsection (1), the inspector shall, at the request of the person from whom the device, commodity or other thing was seized, allow that person or any person authorized by that person to examine the device, commodity or other thing so seized and, where practicable, furnish that person with a sample thereof. Detention (3) Any device, commodity or other thing seized pursuant to subsection (1) shall not be detained (a) after the provisions of this Act or any regulations that are applicable to the device, commodity or other thing have, in the opinion of an inspector, been complied with; or ( after the expiration of sixty days from the day of seizure, unless before that time (i) the device, commodity or other thing has been forfeited pursuant to section 41, (ii) proceedings have been instituted in respect of the contravention in relation to which the device, commodity or other thing was seized, in which event the device, commodity or other thing may be detained until the proceedings are finally concluded, or (iii) notice of an application for an order extending the time during which the device, commodity or other thing may be detained has been served in accordance with section 40. OFFENCES AND PUNISHMENT Prohibited use of devices 23. Every trader is guilty of an offence who uses a device in trade for any purpose or in any manner that is prohibited (a) in the certificate of inspection issued at the time of the most recent inspection made under this Act; or ( in the approval of that device pursuant to section 3. 1970-71-72, c. 36, s. 23. Non-compliance with regulations by trader 24. Every trader is guilty of an offence who uses, or has in his possession for use, in trade, any device that (a) is not installed in accordance with the requirements of the regulations; or ( does not measure units of measurement within the limits of error prescribed. 1970-71-72, c. 36, s. 24. Marking or certifying without inspection 26. (1) Every dealer is guilty of an offence who sells or otherwise disposes of, or leases, any device that (a) has not been marked as prescribed; ( in the case of a static measure, is not of a class, type or design that has been approved for use in trade pursuant to section 3; or © in the case of a device other than a static measure, has not been inspected in the manner and circumstances prescribed. Importation of devices (2) Every dealer or trader who in the course of the business of that dealer or trader imports into Canada any device, other than a static measure, without notifying the Minister as prescribed is guilty of an offence. R.S., 1985, c. W-6, s. 26; 2011, c. 21, s. 158. Previous Version -0000000000000000000000000000 Product advertising and marketing claims are primarily regulated by the Competition Act (Canada), which has a dual civil and criminal track for advertising matters. The Competition Act includes a general prohibition against making any false or misleading representation to the public for the purpose of promoting a business interest. This is a criminal offence if done deliberately or recklessly. If the representation is not made deliberately or recklessly, the Competition Act provides for civil sanctions including cease and desist orders, mandatory publication of information notices and administrative monetary penalties. Under both the criminal and civil tracks, it is important to note that it is not necessary to establish that any person was actually deceived or misled by the advertising, just that it could be construed as such. Amendments to the Competition Act as of March 12, 2009, Maximum civil penalties are now C$15-millionfor a second order against a corporation. A provision was also added permitting orders that would require advertisers who engage in misleading advertising to disgorge the proceeds to persons to whom the products were sold (excluding retailers, wholesalers and distributors that have resold the products). The amendments make sending false or misleading representations in the sender information or subject matter information of an electronic message and making false or misleading representations
  5. http://www.inspection.gc.ca/english/fssa/labeti/guide/ch2e.shtml#a2_6 2.6.2 Canadian Units of Measure [17, CPLR] Although Canadian (previously named "Imperial") units of measure are not required on labels, they are permitted to be used in addition to the required metric units. When the net quantity is shown in both metric units and Canadian units, the metric units should be declared first and the two must be grouped together on the label with no intervening material. The Canadian units "fluid ounces" and "ounces" are not interchangeable terms. For example, fluids such as juices and soft drinks must always be described as "fluid ounces" rather than "ounces". The following conversions may be used: 1 fl oz Canadian = 28.413 ml 1 oz = 28.350 g 2.6.3 Canadian versus U.S. Measure U.S. (American) units of measure may also be used on labels provided an appropriate and accurate metric net quantity is declared. The U.S. fluid ounce is slightly larger than the Canadian fluid ounce and, if shown, does not need to be identified as "U.S.". The following conversion factors may be used: 1fl oz U.S. = 1.041 fl oz Canadian = 29.574 ml U.S. fluid measures, other than the U.S. fluid ounce, are smaller than Canadian measures and must be identified as "U.S." on the label. Non metric declarations (e.g., fluid ounces, pounds, quarts, etc.), if shown, may be in English or French.
  6. Sears is american it doesn't count.
  7. smart americans use metric, it is the scientific standard. Only the US, Burma and Iran use the imperial system. Or something like that I know Myamar and the US are two of the only using imperial. It really doesn't matter. It is just a scale. Metric is easier to use than Imperial. It is based on the decimal system. The US system is based on their body parts. Nope. The french actually used the Imperial system before the americans... " finding difficulties in liaising with German scientists, the British inventor James Watt, in 1783, called for the creation of a global decimal measurement system. A letter of invitation in 1790 from the French National Assembly to the British Parliament to help create such a system using the length of a pendulum (as proposed by Wilkins) as the base unit of length received the support of the British Parliament, championed by John Riggs Miller, but when the French overthrew their monarchy and decided to use the meridional definition of the metre as their base unit, Britain withdrew support. The French continued alone and created the foundations of what is now called Système International d'Unités and is the sole measurement system for most of the world." The French and Indian war was before the US declaration of independence - it is actually what caused the colonies to be able to asssert independence in part. The British didn't start the metric shift at law until the 1960's according to online sources... And Quebec has been a British Province since the French and Indian War ended. Canada turned to the metric system (with more success than Britain after the 60's. So laws from this period which have not been ammended are still in MPH and other imperial measurements where there are references. There is still MPH in some traffic laws. It doesn't make much of a difference but it is novel to have the freezing point and the boiling point of water at "normal numbers" 0 for freezing and 100 for boiling. the scale goes down to about -256 or something .. but the f scale is "more exact as decimals are almost never used with c degrees. so we don't often see 28.4 except for science we would just see 28. Americans are just use to their ways, it would make it easier on them, but its way to late in the game to be changing anything for them.
  8. I think all you can do is hold byelections in all the ridings that were effected by these calls. The results in any riding effected should be invalidated. It would be interesting to see if it could effect the conservative majority. If 1000 people complained you better believe more than 1000 people were effected. Some ridings have had very close election results, so these sorts of things could have effected the elections in the ridings called, since they targetted the "hotly contested" riding where a few votes could swing the riding. There should be byelections. They've been pulling election frauds every election since 2006, they should be deregistered, their election fraud is habitual. Arab countries have a better track record.
  9. According to the information provided, the company knows whose phone was used, but they arn't releasing that information to the public, the RCMP however does apparently have this info and are have investigated. So is that why they hire thousands of 11 year olds each election. Getting children to do their dirty work for them. Perhaps conservative campaigns should be monitored ... .... on the internet? It is a montreal number.
  10. There is a clear difference between accepting the truth that the sands creates air and water quality issues, and saying Canada can't let other countries such as the US and China develop it. (Two of the worlds biggest polluters) While lowering environmental pollution and moving to become a modern 0 emissions state is a global ideal all should aspire to, the EU should face the fact that it should deal with its own house before attacking another. Although trade wars within NATO are not good. The EU should fix the following list of problems before it targets Canadian Industry: The top 622 facilities causing pollution and the estimated health costs Click heading to sort FacilityName Country Main activity Low 'VOLY' Total aggregated damage cost (million €) High 'VSL' Total aggregated damage cost (million €) Source: EEA PGE Elektrownia Bełchatów S.A. 11. Anon is [LEGION] there are likely some trust worthy members and some not so trust worthy. As well as others, anyone and everyone is Anonymous. It is an entity not a singularity. Effectively Anon is the Internet "Underground" and the old and the new. It is basically everyone who wants to be and is. It is everywhere. The government would be hard pressed to remove Anonymous, as it is the Resistance and it is the Anti Disestablishment. It is a movement not a person. Any internet "securing" threatens the global underground online who have acted with utmost impunity for reasons that are clear. They have been supported by the government itself, as part of the larger desire for a techno (technology) culture, skills and capacity in the cyber war and development. It is not unlike the Russian Mafias and Hells Angels being from the Military, and controllers of the organized crime syndicates. There is however a hyerarchy involved, and it is clear that structure is LEGION (or atleast is said to be) Legion is a very large Underground hacking collective. It is one of the largest. It is as far as I'm aware HQ'd in the US and run by the US Gov as part of its cyber corps. not sure if this is related. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legion_of_Doom_(hacking) http://www.google.ca/#hl=en&safe=off&sclient=psy-ab&q=legion+of+hackers&pbx=1&oq=legion+of+hackers&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&gs_sm=3&gs_upl=3918l5570l1l6803l17l14l0l0l0l0l427l2375l0.2.1.4.1l8l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.r_qf.,cf.osb&fp=bb87acda14707407&biw=1280&bih=656 If you add it all up things are pretty transparent.

  14. You are wrong. It would cost atleast 20% less than buying US planes. Most of the f35 costs were R&D bloat. There is nothing new on the f35 so why the many billions on R&D this time around, for a made in Canada aircraft? The US did this with our avro for its Jet fighters. Thats right today almost any country can set up factories for fighter jets. The rest is just Naysaying you bring nothing but the realization that Canada doesn't have money for the f35 either. It makes far more sense to keep the debt in Canada amongst Canadians than border to give money to Americans in the tune of billions. Comeon lets just order 1 and make some clones. Iran got a stealth drone for free... Israel is getting rebates. Canada should go it its own.
  15. perhaps we can input nano solid state transmitters into every cpu to transmit computer functions while we are at it. What we do is just turn up the RF on every chip in Canada and turn our telephone wires into receivers. http://lambda-diode.com/electronics/tempest/ http://www.eurotech-inc.com/embedded-Atom-SBC.asp what we do is just measure the minute RF modulation caused by harmonics from the systems on the harmonic freqeuncies of the energy in the power lines.. conver that via digital and suddently we can monitor every electronic device in the country. Once we get chips into people, we can use his same techonology on humans! We can use interferance as a means of monitoring. http://www.magnetic-shield.com/faq/interference.html If the internet is lost Pedaphiles may turn to covert means WE MUST COLLECT ALL RADIO WAVES! ALL DATA. WE MUST STOP THE MONSTERS! 16. Demanding resignation is ok but the element of blackmail was threatening to unleash operation great white north. Which is a potential threat of assault due to websites being knocked down. Also malicious hacking of a computer system is also a crime. Knocking down GC.CA vics company more or less could be a safety threat for the government. One can only assume operation great white North would involve malicious hacking as opposed to wikileaks activities which anonymous is not well known. http://www.duhaime.org/LegalDictionary/E/Extortion.aspx Actually this anonymous doesn't seem to follow the hacking anonymous groups normal methods. Information release normally isn't the means of this group as far as I've read. 346. (1) Every one commits extortion who, without reasonable justification or excuse and with intent to obtain anything, by threats, accusations, menaces or violence induces or attempts to induce any person, whether or not he is the person threatened, accused or menaced or to whom violence is shown, to do anything or cause anything to be done. Extortion (1.1) Every person who commits extortion is guilty of an indictable offence and liable ( b ) in any other case, to imprisonment for life. Subsequent offences (1.2) In determining, for the purpose of paragraph (1.1)(a), whether a convicted person has committed a second or subsequent offence, if the person was earlier convicted of any of the following offences, that offence is to be considered as an earlier offence: (a) an offence under this section; ( an offence under subsection 85(1) or (2) or section 244 or 244.2; or © an offence under section 220, 236, 239, 272 or 273, subsection 279(1) or section 279.1 or 344 if a firearm was used in the commission of the offence. However, an earlier offence shall not be taken into account if 10 years have elapsed between the day on which the person was convicted of the earlier offence and the day on which the person was convicted of the offence for which sentence is being imposed, not taking into account any time in custody. Sequence of convictions only (1.3) For the purposes of subsection (1.2), the only question to be considered is the sequence of convictions and no consideration shall be given to the sequence of commission of offences or whether any offence occurred before or after any conviction. Saving (2) A threat to institute civil proceedings is not a threat for the purposes of this section. R.S., 1985, c. 17. Its not strong enough, if we are going in, we should go all in, and get some reality tv contracts out of the bit. Log all cell phones (and all phones for that matter) all the time by processing for key words and sounds to alert the police to listen in in the event of a potential crime processed by the sound processers. Make GPS mandatory on all computer systems. Tap the phone lines and cameras on every street corner. Make the UK a second rate CCTVer. And do the CRTC some good and natonalize the internet so only .ca domains hosted in Canada are available to Canadians. If web domains want to do business in Canada they should be monitored like the rest of Canadians. But this police information shouldn`t be shared with the US, like all the other info under the Perimiter security act. Unless it pertains to US jurisdiction, and that does not include NZ or Iraq. Every foreign person should have to rent a electronic monitoring device, and put down a security deposit on it too. Either that or rent a strap on phone with a security deposit with a gps and always on cellphone. They could hire RIM to make them too since the blackberry sales are down. WIth life in prison hard labour for foreigners breaking the law. Let Canada stop pedophilia in its tracks. Malicious hackers who corrupt data or embed trojans on systems should see atleast 10 year jail terms. Canadians need to understand that leaving net neutrility and giving control of the internet to partisan control freaks has to be done big if it is going to work. But we also need to completely remove politics from all decisions of policing meaning that the public should directly elect their police not appointments by politicians, and every citizens should have equal powers to the police. For instance if police can view videos or monitor internet traffic the citizens should be able to also. So any data police can view, people should be able to view also. If we are going to get naked we should all get naked at the same time. It will revolutionize communication and bring us in touch with one another again in intimate environments. Facebook (an american company) will no longer be required as Canada will be one big electronic facebook. Why only let police friends you? Give people panic buttons and encourage concealed carry while we are at it. Lets enter the future today. Enter the future, stop pedophilia. With all our kids having cell phones too including infants, how will pedaphilia be accomplished if we send the swat team and SOF whenever a phone system is off outside the authorized recharging zones? Remember it is us or them. Fear will keep them inline. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUDrs8IYevM
  18. Ontario has civics as a mandatory course I believe http://www.edu.gov.on.ca/eng/curriculum/secondary/canworld10ex/civics.pdf
  19. You are forgetting an important point. Legislators don't follow the law they make law.
  20. I agree with the couple, people shouldn't have to have their children exposed to religion. But it is their choice to send their child to a catholic school where religion classes are mandatory for a catholic school diploma. I know in Ontario religion classes are optional but you cannot graduate with the Catholic diploma without taking them. However public schools would not require this. Likewise homeschooling or GED would not require it. I find it highly unfortunate that the board would not accommodate the request for only exposure to the Catholic Faith at the school, even if it meant only receiving a "general diploma" with 4 other electives. It would be unfortunate if the family was forced to move to a francophone part of Ontario to get this equivalent service from Ontario Catholic schools Parents should be able to ask for accommodation to sensitive topics until their child is of majority age 16-18. Such as sex, religion, economics, and science&technology. Parents effectively control and are responsible for the freedom of belief conscience, and thought and religion of their child until they are of majority age. Since the legal gaurdian is responsible for that childs rights. Schools should accommodate requests for exclusion from topics that go against the beleifs that the guardian has for their child. Boards should be in dialogue with parents to avoid those problem areas when setting out guidelines to their schools and should offer alternative programming where only a minority is protected where the majority does not allow for protections at default. If education is mandatory, but violates the rights of the legal guardian for their child then it is more or less contrary to the fundamentals of justice in benefiting society an unconstitutional without a basis for fundamental justice because law itself does not necessitate religion to be instructed. There is a definate short sighteness in the supreme courts view in this matter, as it effectively capacitates boards to force religion whether a private school or a public school. This could be satanism or any religion and the students would still have to take the course. Should our children be forced to learn about the Cult of Uranus or Aphrodite?
  21. What is most bearing of consideration is that there are perhaps less French speaking Francophones in Canada than Russian speakers in Latvia.... It would however be suprising to see only 25% of Canadians voting to see French maintained as an official language, or the uprising that might result in Quebec as a result of that vote. Although even French in Quebec is undergoing a renaissance toward English.
  22. And... the flaw in your logic is that our military wasn't used for defending Canada over that entire period and the gutted military could have done it just as well as no military since there was no invasion.. They still are. Canada can barely field one division 5000 men and stay operational. They use the same 3 ships for all their overseas operations often in rotatation. You have some sort of "image" of Canada's military I'm not aware of. US home land security is bigger than the combined Canadian forces and paramilitary/police. Why should we be fighting the UN's wars? UN IS AN ORGANIZATION OF PEACE NOT WAR. LET THE SECURITY COUNCIL DO SECURITY OPERATIONS, CANADA ISN'T INVOLVED IN THAT IT SHOULDN'T BE PAYING FOR THEIR WARS! Because we don't represent as a country that is nice, and Canada is a US puppet vote. The US wants to limit Canada so it can dominate it more. THE US DOESN'T NEED OUR HELP, and WE SHOULDN'T BE FIGHTING THEIR WARS OF OFFENSE AND INVASION. Canada's defence policy will not be greatly enhanced by debt spending for 50 stealth attack aircraft and a bunch of expensive boats. It is a policy of bombing and blockade it is not a defence policy, it is an offence policy. Canada needs a total rethink of its defence policy and productive use of the Canadian forces. It is just a waste of tax payer dollars the way it is being pursued, and it will only cost more money down the road. Defence is defence not offence. Defence Spending does not equal defence benefit. Good spending is good for benefits bad spending is not. Mexico for instance has a military twice the size of canada for about $50 per capita, Canada is spending somewhere between $300 and $3000 per capita. (the $3000 figure is based on forward projected spending allocated today that is money the current government is spending from future governments defence budgets ex. they are spending the budgets of the next 10 years of defence spending on todays purchases removing future purchasing ability - these purchases today will be worth less 5 years from now when technology has made the current purchases obsolete) Take for instance the f35 project - it is already a decade old technology. The naval ship building program doesn't incorporate even modern technologies in their designs. They are basically throwing away money on equipment that is barely feasible for todays needs if even feasible for the needs today - it will not reflect tomorrows needs - unless you say that we don't need arctic capable aircraft in 2020 because there will be no arctic by that point, and when they leave service in 2040 we will be a tropical location. IF anyone thinks their stealth or other tech will be "useful" even after 5 years of service they are out of touch. The only use they are at that point is attacking countries that don't even have equipment that can transport them to Canada... The project made a little sense a few years ago when the timeline and costs somewhat reflected the 2000 costs and timeline, now it is being pushed back further and further at higher and higher costs. THe project is 4 years behind on delivering a decade old technology. It will already be out of generation by the time it is deployed. 20 years old by the time it is being flown and Canada will be stuck with 20 year old technology for another 20 years. http://blogs.canada.com/2012/02/16/f-35-spiral-dive-puts-rcaf-fleet-size-in-doubt/ Canada needs its own program, developed by Canadians for Canadians, built in Canada, and by people who arn't about money but about making an aircraft within budget constraints.
  23. \ Love it or hate they have their own religion and laws. Drugs are illegal here, alchohol, a drug, is illegal there. Women can't show their private parts in public here, women can't show their private parts there. People are subsistence slaves here, people slave for subsistence there. I don't see all this negativity being lumped on Kingdoms like Saudi Arabia - who is probably more strict than Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan combined. In more ways than you know they are just the NA of 50-100 years ago. If it wasn't for WWI we would basically have the same values, your great grandfathers or grandfathers would likely be the same as they are. This partnership can only be good for peace in the region sans a nato offensive on Iran. I think though it is getting late in the game and Iran will need to be the one to attack for any attack on them in the next 3 years unless Romney wins. Do you realize how stupid the US looks to have prevented the USSR from communizing them now they spend a trillion dollars to have them unite with Iran and Pakistan? Well it is all for the best.
  24. Just be happy your biometric data and SIN arn't required to open a phone or internet account. Once they tie in facial recognition and other biometrics into phone and internet access that is approved by the police "an internet MAC certificate" etc.. that is when they will be able to monitor well. There are still many loopholes, such as hotspots including wardialing. What they need to do is work with companies like google to put up hidden cameras in lampposts with residences with hotspot access and monitor those points persistently. Peoples phones however are still stolden, so having a gps device that locates the position of every phone to make phone theft illegal - eg no access without gps localization and biometric verification etc... the laws don't go far enough to shut down the criminals. This stuff will be phased in with "electronic wallets" though.. once it is a standard for mobile computing it will be easier to apply to home and business systems. Once this is done people will move from beating the system to communalism for access to resources in the system. Get it done. It will happen the faster it is done the more control Canadians will have. If Canada wants freedom it must support everyones freedom not just their own interests. People must accept the dark nature of humanity to know people arn't always as the ideal insists. Even if not criminal god knows all, it is dehumanizing the first time you are stripped naked and told to spread your cheeks for some, much like it is humiliating for other to know that they watch sex in the city and not the football game on sunday nights, or that they are really gay, or that they are budist and have been telling their parents they are christians, or that they are a business person who is really communist who KNOWS but the fact is, living a lie is not living a purelife. The bottom line is we must kill the totalitarian fascists then it won't matter if we are a gay Buddhist communist who watches sex in the city on Sunday nights rather than a christian capitalist footballer
  25. fast forward 50 years....
