Mosque going up in NYC building
Hydraboss replied to a topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Just because he says what he thinks doesn't make him a racist or a bigot. it could be worse...he could be some left wing, loudmouthed bitch from Kwebek that only commits drive-by slander on a web forum. Face facts: Building this "church" for a ridiculously back-assward religion at this site is stupid. How long do you think it will be before a bunch of "good ole boys" from one of the "mostly white American" states blows this thing up as retribution for 9/11? If it happens, maybe I'll drive out to the international airport near my city and sing and dance at the arrival gates cab lane like those bastards did September 11, 2001. -
Do you have any idea how many guns (pistols and long guns) are ALREADY IN circulation in North America??? How do you plan on tracking those? Would it be outrageous to assume there are more guns for sale in the state of Montana than are registered in Canada right now? The registry solves nothing. It does not provide protection in any way, shape or form. I'm sure the police officer is very happy that the gun was registered.

Royal Family visits Canadian troops in Afghanistan
Hydraboss replied to g_bambino's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Out of a sense of duty as Canadian media. What page of the paper were the visits on? I would rather see Christina Aguilera or Lady Gaga visit the troops. Entertain them and show some T&A. I work with several retired military (mostly PPCLI) and every time anything about the royals comes up it doesn't even get a blink. They couldn't care less. The royals don't mean a damn thing to soldiers in theater. Give em a beer, a video message from home and a twenty-something hottie strutting around on stage. "That'll do pig, that'll do". -
<---------------- (look here) Yes. I am a federalist. You saw through my thin veil. The jig is up. You should really sit down and have coffee with charter.rights.

Ooooh. You and I are going to be the mostest, bestest of friends! (stay out of this August) Let's see....how about the fact that there are lots and lots of people in Kwebek THAT AREN'T DEAD? You for example. You would have been shot immediately (if you were lucky) for talking this way about Nazi's or any German for that matter. Justified enough for you? I've never met anyone from Mars either, so it must be true that Kwebek is no different from Mars. All that red sand and lack of water from The Occupation. Nasty. So Kwebek is occupied because some people use the food bank. Uh huh. But in countries where there is basic lawlessness, women and girls are commonly raped, children are starved by crooked government officials use foreign aid to buy weapons, and skinny black dudes use 40 year old AK47's and canoes to hijack oil tankers while wearing lifejackets as bullet proof vests, there is no sign of oppression like that in Kwebek. Yes, Pizza Pops equals Freedom. You are correct. Because the Newfies are all working their asses off in Alberta making a ton of cash and the little frenchies are too lazy to do it themselves. Don't worry, I'm sure the next round of Equalization negotiations will include forced resource labour for Kwebek from the rest of Canada. You are correct. Just the other day the CBC was showing graphic images of women and children and their gruesome wounds from where they were struck by IPD's (Improvised Propaganda Devices). Chilled my heart to have to watch those poor children being forced to deal with daycare paid for by Albertans. And the Canada Day celebrations last year! Oh, the humanity!!! It's actually a dirty trick. Long ago Albertans figured that the best way to attack Kwebek was to work hard and earn lots of money, therefore being able to send huge amounts to the frenchies. This money allowed them to be lazy (their natural habitat) and do nothing but eat poutine and smoke. Thus, our master plan was realized in that the Almost French are fat, lazy and can no longer defend themselves from our impending attack. We will have the land for ourselves. Yes we will. Most kids of insufficient mental age have curfews. It keeps them from being loose in the neighbourhood and just getting into trouble. It's hard enough to keep them from sticking bobby-pins in power plugs at home, let alone keeping them from walking into light posts or wandering into rivers in the dark. We did this for your own protection. Someday you'll understand. Are you refering to most of what you've written? If so, I agree. Are you refering to the way Anglos are treated inside La Spoiled Province? Once again, you are correct. The dictatorship must fall! Someone get me a beret!! First we drink latte, THEN we march forth with our hands out!!!! "Jaques! I said 3 feet by 3 feet!!! Now go get more white cloth and make those flags again!"

Not going to happen. Ever. It's much easier to show your "disgust" with the current government using all of your bravado, knowing that you're safe behind the "no one wants an election" bs. MUCH safer and easier to collect a sizable paycheck. I'm with you on this one. There is no party worth voting FOR (Cons are too left wing, Lib's are too left wing and mushy, the NDP has always been a wasted protest vote, the Greens (are they even still a party?) another waste). Our options are who do we NOT want to vote for. In my case, I'd vote for the Rhino party if it would keep the Liberals out.

When is the PM going to the Special Olympics?
Hydraboss replied to William Ashley's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
William, after reading the drug-induced, moronic, tin foil ramblings that you post I only have one question. When are YOU going to the Special Olympics? -
AGW IS a minor parlor trick. An expensive one, but one none the less.

Bullshit. The two bingo halls in my town are loaded with indians almost every day of the week. Funny thing though, they're outside smoking instead of inside the "no smoking" establishment. Same as the bars/lounges. That's right....outside right beside the white guys and yellow guys and brown guys....... You'd think at least ONE of these "brave warriors" would have the wherewithal to start a Charter challenge (or a "Great Law" challenge) against their right to smoke while drinking and playing bingo. Guess they must be cowards.

Prince George, BC? WTF cares?
Hydraboss replied to DogOnPorch's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
Why would anyone care when there's "crosses burning on the lawns"? -
Don't misunderstand me. I envy the way Kwebek has played Canada and got everything they want. Successful blackmail. Do I want them to leave? Sure, why not? I would much prefer to see Alberta leave Canada, and let Kwebek and Canada scrap it out but without my money for a change. Grow a pair and try paying for yourself for a change.

I couldn't change places with one of them any more than a seagull could change places with a whale. I have worked my ass off for years to get where I am, and I strongly resent anyone who "rides the public handout bus". If I had to change, I would start by making sure I had constant employment, fixing my f**king house so it's livable and halfway respectable, and earning some respect. I've said it before...I have several indian workers and they are great (those that last). They drive in every morning, work their asses off, and get paid royally. Incidentally, there are a ton of lazy-ass white guys too that don't last. -
<consider this a preemptive response> Before anyone rips Mr Canada a new one over the post above, prove he's wrong.

Wrong. If an indian shows their status card, tax is not deducted at point of sale. In the car business, every bill of sale is marked "delivered at <insert closest reserve here>" and then the dealer doesn't have to listen to the whining about indians having to file for tax reimbursement. -

Oka residents are lucky there weren't many, many more. (By the way, how famous do you have to be before you're assassinated instead of murdered?) Bullshit. Political correctness saved the lives of 25 Mohawks. Otherwise, there would have been dead indians everywhere. The military would have treated it like a turkey shoot. -
Got anymore links? This is fun. Kwebek does, and always has, sucked more money out of Canada than it gives. Like everything else they do, they are leeches. Alberta, BC and Ontario have paid dearly to keep the "special needs cousin" from leaving home, but I'll be damned if I know why. I would have the same sentiment about others (Manitoba, east coast, etc) except they don't threaten to leave and take their maple syrup with them just in order to get more special status from a bunch of politicians that want votes. What should happen is the separation vote should be held by the entire country. Guarantee we'll see 50+1% at least.

Legally all land in Canada belongs to Canadians. Six Nations can stay on the land we let them live on out of the goodness of our hearts. They can fish and hunt without a use permit. I think I found you a new signature.

Have you ever been right about ANYTHING? At all? First you try to push your b.s. about a bunch of indians and their supposed rights to the entire world, and now you try to change the definition of a psychology term. Mr. Canada's posts definitely leave a lot to be desired, but he's hardly suffering from low self esteem. He may not be in your class of self-proclaimed "experts", but you hardly have the moral cash to pay the bills let alone judge others.

Where, oh, where will Canada be able to find someone who can make social commentary of this level on a regular basis? Where will Harper be able to locate someone who can model clothing on behalf of Canadians and carry out the varied, important job of the Queen's representative in this country by spring? I wonder if Pamela Anderson is busy for the next five years? Canadians are on the edge of their collective seats.

And this is my point as well. I disagree with the credit card companies charging what amounts to loansharking rates (28.8&, 19.8%, etc). They freely give the credit availability and limits away, and then say they can't understand why people default. Personally, I have had those same fights with Visa over arbitrarily raising my limit by thousands at a time (I actually cut the card up and mailed it to them to make a point), and I instructed them exactly where I wanted my limit if I was to continue doing business with them. I qualify for their best rate and have never been late on a payment so I have that leverage. Many people do not. Good business practice would see them making the rate reasonable (in line with what they offer US customers), and actually proving some due diligence on both initial qualification and credit limit determination before provinding the cards to people. People will be idiots in some cases, but that is no reason to crucify them. If I gave a ten year old my Visa and told him to go to the toy store, I could expect a bill in the 5-digit range the next month. The same lack of diligence is what has had everyone screaming at the feds and banks in the States over subprime. Those people should never had qualified for the mortgages in the first place.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but... I agree with every word in this post. Bang on, Topaz.

2 PC MLA's defect to Wildrose Alliance
Hydraboss replied to Jerry J. Fortin's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
Another thing to consider in this province is that when energy prices return (and they are), the province will once again be flush with cash. No big surprise. But Albertans know that and don't give the "government" credit for it. They are, however, held accountable for what they DO with the money, and that's where the PC's are going to falter heavily. Times got tough recently and everyone knows it; it's also the reason Alberta had a $17 billion "rainy day fund". This fund is now being squandered to support otherwise unsustainable spending. THAT will burn their asses at the polls. As has often been said, a monkey could run the province when the money's pouring in. When things get a little thin, Albertans want tight fiscal management and the Tories are just not that. EVERYTHING (education, health care, infrastructure) falls to the back when people lose their jobs. People want stability for their families and spending $17 million on the Alberta Art Gallery or 6% raises for teachers (an additional $40 million this year alone), huge raises for the Premier and MLA's and other stupid spending has threatened that stability.
