Haitians don't all reside in Florida. El Salvadorans will be next. Do we have any MP from El Salvador? The very first step would be for Trudeau to tweet, and also state publicly that he was misunderstood about his open invitation! Of course, any drowning man will grasp at anything! He created this mess by giving false hope. He has to own it, and correct it! What's happening are MPs going on a USA tour just to explain about this fiasco. In the meantime, we - the taxpayers - will be shelling out more money to fund this "corrections tour!" The Liberals simply don't have any respect for taxpayers, and they're spending like drunks! They just live for the moment - to hell with the future!

Someone I know had found and married someone through a dating site. They're still together after about 15 years now. Our insurance lady (widow), who's Christian met a USA pastor through what I think is a meeting site for Christians. She moved and they got married. People don't have that great opportunity to find someone compatible to their values. It "cut corners" for people who are honest and sincere. But of course, not everyone is honest and sincere. Proceed with great caution.

Am I missing something here? Why such negative reactions over the OP? I think the title says a lot, and it hits the spot. "Networking" doesn't work with only one country or one government involved. Why is Trudeau so welcoming to Islam - need we lose sight of the fact that he's chummy with the Aga Khan, too? Not to mention, Obama and Clinton? Why is Europe in such chaotic state right now? Is it only because of Germany?

He is a Canadian. He may be Chinese, but he's already a Canadian. I think he's simply saying what's happening in China. It's globalization! Our own PM is very much into that. We've got thugs from China, and Puerto Rico, and Easter Europe, and etc. You know why? Our lax immigration policies. The world will have no borders, that's the agenda. It's all heading to one big Communism.

That's what politicians do. They place their self-interest ahead of everything else. That's the main reason why we have the surge of refugees/asylum-seekers.

That's the aim of globalization.

Of course, don't expect any guarantee that there wouldn't be any attempt or any attacks....there's no guarantee to anything! The best way to prevent terrorist attacks would be to contain the borders. Either banning certain people from certain cultures, or really doing a very thorough screening and vetting. Don't give that responsibility to the UN! We have to have full control of who are let in to this country. That's the most practical solution! Once the borders are secure, then you deal with the terrorists within!

I'm not talking about vigilantes. I'm talking about being able to defend. I gave examples - like the beheading of the soldier on the street of London, or the nightclub massacre in Florida. It's so weird that the soldier was killed in broad daylight, on a busy street - and the killers stood there for how long after the killing, without anyone engaging them! How could anyone engage them when even the cops aren't armed in England! But yes, I see your point, too. There will be the trigger-happy, and the loonies.
