Ignatieff proposes to recognize Quebec as a nation
Biblio Bibuli replied to Leafless's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
After reading the above article, does anybody here still have ANY doubts as to who our next Liberal leader will be? I bet you don't. I've been saying for a year now that Iggy's got it in the bag ,,,,, don't you think that congratulations are in order? You'll have to do it sooner or later ,,,,, so why not now? -
Good article for sure! And thanks for introducing me to The Daily Mail ... it looks like a good read. The BBC has prayer rooms set up so the Muslim staff (of which there are many) can pray 5 times a day. We all know that Europe will be Muslim dominated in a few generations because of their high birth rate, but if they are smart they will be able to push forward their dominance of the continent by ensuring that they get the numbers in the media. Once the TV stations, newspapers etc are primarily staffed by Muslims with their agenda ... it's over. I now actually think that I will see Eurabia in my lifetime ... and I'm one old fart.

Liberal Leadership Debate in Montreal

If Ignatieff wins, it will be very hard for the Liberals to defend him. Paul Wells asks:does anyone seriously believe Stephen Harper will delicately lay off Ignatieff's written record if he's the leader? Lots of Ignatieff's written record is music to GWB's ears. Do you, Paul Wells, actually believe that Harper will put down the music that is so pleasant to George's ears? -

It wasn't pretty. Both men, Rae and Dion, jumped on Iggy .... Look: Rae, Dion tee off on Ignatieff -
Liberal Leadership Debate in Montreal

It wasn't pretty. Both men, Rae and Dion, jumped on Iggy .... they were jumping all over him. They even gave him hell for his pro Israeli stances, such as his support of targeted assassinations. Iggy could have replied that the Mossad were the best at it, but knowing that they would deny that fact also .... why stir the pot? -

I discussed MacKay's dilemma with Don Martin yesterday, through my television set. In today's article Don says: "To put the controversy behind him, MacKay has no choice but to grovel for his former gal pal's forgiveness. But how can he apologize for something he denies saying? That's the deadly rub, because he can only escape by admitting he covered up his comments with a lie. He has to say he's sorry for the smear and then say he's sorry for the fib. And that's a career killer for a senior Cabinet minister in a minority government. That he tried to hide behind plausible deniability, hoping to be saved by having his words uttered beyond the range of microphones, is his own petard with a hangman's hoist. This will not go away. And the Prime Minister may have to step in unless, miraculously, the story loses its legs over the weekend. Not bloody likely. Stephen Harper cannot have a man-child holding Canadian diplomacy in his hands." Don is right, as usual.

His father told him to be a member of the Young Liberals? I don't have a clue. One thing I do know is that most Jewish fathers and mothers would. Harper, sensing the disapproval from his Jewish audience I guess, then threw ALL the caution into the wind, saying: "Those who seek to destroy the Jews ... will for the same reason ultimately seek to destroy us all, and that, my friends, is why Canada's new government has reacted with speed on recent events in the Middle East." Harper is at his best when he keeps his mouth shut.

Harper isn't any better. Speaking to a Jewish crowd at a BB dinner the other day he said: "As a boy I was, like all lucky men, most influenced by my father."

Speaking to a BB dinner in Toronto last night , Harper made no apologies for his government siding with the Jews, saying: "Those who seek to destroy the Jews ... will for the same reason ultimately seek to destroy us all, and THAT, my friends, is why Canada's new government has reacted with speed on recent events in the Middle East." http://www.canada.com/vancouversun/news/st...62-a83192205b33 Every man and their dog knows that famous Martin Niomoller quote .... "First they came for Jews" ....... and I suspect that Harper's main worry is the end part ... "Then they came for me". -
Taxing Poor Health (or Banning it)
Biblio Bibuli replied to geoffrey's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
"It's all in your genes!" .... or ... "When it's your time to go, it's your time to go!" ... some say, carelessly. A friend of mine is afraid of flying and once we were flying together and when turbulance hit she really worried. And so I tried, carelessly, to ease her mind by telling her not to worry, that she'll go only when it's her time to go. "There are 300 people on this plane you asshole, what if it's one of THEIR times to go?", she replied. -
People are attracted to ethnic areas. Be it Korean, Italian, Greek, German, Russian, what have you .... it's always nice to have it in one place. Who wants to see a schnitzel house in an Italian area? I hate going to malls because over 90% of shops are always shops that I'm not interested in, and it takes a lots of schlepping to find the ones I want. It's just good business, every mall owner should specialize. The long term prospects are much greater that way. I always thought that if I had a restaurant in the area where there aren't many restaurants, I'd do well. BOY WAS I WRONG! A friend of mine opened one up in restaurant row, and now he drives a Porsche. Me? I ride a bus.

Yes in many cases it is in the genes. GOOD WORK, BOYS & GIRLS! The more baby-boomers that you manage to persuade that this bullcrap is true, the less of a burden they will be on our younger generations. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! -

If I was forced to get rid of all of my old songs collection, "Smoke Smoke Smoke That Cigarette" would be the hardest to part with. http://great-song-stylists-uk.com/Phil%20H...Philharris2.htm -
I served in the Russian Army so I've had it up to my neck with Dostoievsky. I prefer Hemyngway.

Where did you hear this? Actually, I lied. He came in in the 37th spot. Still, not bad, eh? Read it and weep! http://www.prospect-magazine.co.uk/intellectuals/results.htm -

One SHOULD be able to open up an account at the MLW, so that MLW could guarantee that those who put their money where their mouth is get paid !!! And the ONLY reason that *I* can think of as to why the MLWBN administrators are NOT providing this service is because they are afraid that it would stifle debate, as the majority of posters would be much less cocksure about their predictions. I know I would. -
