Sometimes I DOUBTS if you can even spell. Just to refresh your memory. an advocate (primary definition) "is one who speaks in favour". A spokesman on the other hand, (primary definition) "is one who speaks on behalf of others, esp. public relations" and you are speaking on behalf of their group, culture and ethnicity. I simply refer to the majority 'White English speaking Christians' for reasons of identity to confirm that I am part of that majority in Canada. I speak for myself as a ' White English speaking Christian, although I suspect many others would agree in what I am saying. How can you possibly say that when government has already stepped in to outlaw certain Christian cultural teachings in schools and especially when combined with Charter rights greatly dilutes Canadian culture and the ability to properly propagate Christian cultural traditions. Previously before mass immigration, demand relating to housing was controlled as there was never any heavy demand for housing relating. Out of every 10 Canadian births to maturity, say 20-25 years old, out of those ten Canadians maybe only six would be able to afford housing. To-day with mass immigration you have full grown adults, jumping of a plane with the proper funds and buying houses. Our system was never designed to accommodate this instant type of growth. As a result housing as become unaffordable for many Canadians even with the low interest rates which could present a serious problem in the near future, if interest rates suddenly increase. I would not go near real estate to-day as we have the same problem as the U.S. with the middle class being wiped out by outsourcing to other countries and immigrants working for less money. This of course compounds matters relating to who can buy houses and who can't. I think big problems lay ahead. -

If you read the link the Liberals had a policy goal of 1% of the population of Canada annually. So when Paul Martin was PM Canada's population is about the same as it is to-day 33 million and 1% of 33 million is 330,000 immigrants the Liberals allowed into the country. We can thank Mr. Harper for the decrease down to 260,000 and hopefully as the suggest reduce that even further to 20% of that 260.000 immigrants. In 1913 -14 immigrants earned their keep, no subsidized housing, no welfare or health care, very little of anything. they wanted to come here because of our freer democratic society. These are the immigrants that built Canada to what it is to-day, unlike mass immigration that we allow into our ESTABLISHED country to-day equating to 1-million mostly ethnic immigrants in 3-4 years who basically only worry about setting up their religion and culture and segregating from from mainstream Canada. Big difference and IMO a horrible difference. -

So, what year does 260,000 equate to and who is the government of the day? -
http://www.canada.com/topics/news/story.ht...87a&k=97840 I believe the CIA and the FBI acted responsibly in a case that affects national security. How far do individual rights go in protecting a person who has already been reasonably investigated? We all know what it cost for Arar's inquiry and Arar's settlement, 25.5 million dollars and we still, I believe, have not heard full U.S. evidence against M. Arar. Terrorism is not pretty and in a democratic free country to convict a terrorist suspect could very time consuming and very costly with undesirable results and doing very little or actually accelerate terrorist activity, depending on circumstances, relating to national security. I commend the U.S. with their Patriot Act and even Guantanamo Bay Detention Center while Canada chooses to pander to would be terrorist under a Charter that IMV should be overridden when a individual is suspect with criminal intentions in the way of terrorism. http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,22221938-1702,00.html

You wonder why I don't respond to your uninformed posts even though I supplied the information for you. Here is the link again: http://www.immigrationwatchcanada.org/ And here in part is what it says: "The Former Liberal government had a policy goal of admitting 1% of Canada's population annually.' This equates to 330,000 immigrants. So what I said is the truth. Here is another link from 2003 that says: " Between this and the last conference the government has set an explicit annual targeted inflow of 1% of the population (approximately 300,000 immigrants a year). The adoption of this fixed target policy signalled a shift towards a longer-run view of how admission numbers should be managed. At the same time the selection process has become more focused on attracting young skilled workers to this country. The impacts that these changes have had on the Canadian economy are in the early stages of investigation. Some of this new work is included in this volume. Not really. Raise the interest rates and see what happens. Canadians could be selling their homes at great losses simplt to get out of their binding mortgage obligations. Others who hold on to their existing high priced homes can sit back and watch their houses devalute to (who knows) overnight. http://www.immigrationwatchcanada.org/ Considering the population factor of these Asian countries that their are many well heeled ethnics taking refuge or rather immigrating to Canada. It is not a question of 'how Whitey's got so poor' but why are we allowing the sell out of Canadian housing to foreigners. http://www.immigrationwatchcanada.org/ For the interest of our other members only: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_much_money_d..._collector_earn This has got to do with destroying Canadian society, simple as that, no racism at all. But I am going to look into the matter of your constant racist allegations. -

You appointed yourself, by your own hand, as a citizen of the world. You would not recognize that fact since you are oblivious to your own self righteousness. What does that have to do with immigrants destroying Canadians quality of life and their current cultural status quo? Currently our infrastructure is being maxed out to the limit, including electric power generation, highways, streets, roads, water supply, waste management as well as existing infrastructure rapidly decaying. But outside of infrastructure, housing is not being addressed in the proper manner to accommodate 330,000 new immigrants yearly. Lower interest rates is only a stop gap method of allowing people who can not afford higher priced housing into the market. Of course this includes immigrant and native Canadian but encourages even further hikes in housing prices. Old existing housing and infrastructure common to our current cultural status quo is not the answer IMO to address these large numbers of immigrants. My point is existing housing in Canada is meant to accommodate Canadians in our traditional, cultural manner, that is friendly to supply and demand and based on raising a child to adulthood until that person becomes self sustaining. This is where mass immigration is a problem. The 1-25 years to raise a child is short circuited and immigrant adults are instantly thrown into the housing market creating a huge demand for housing that never existed previously. Now of course with the advent of 330,000 immigrants a year and whether they buy existing or new housing or live in subsidized housing maxes the system right out, since the supply of housing to accommodate these large numbers does not exist and everyone cannot afford to buy new houses. This situation will worsen yearly as 330,000 immigrants arrive yearly with no federal plan to properly accommodate these adult masses. 1990. When Martin said this it was not a separate article and what that original article was, I don't remember. But the article in question was printed in the Ottawa Citizen, when martin was PM. This has got nothing to do with Canadians making up their own minds but that a PM was unethically pushing the interest of namely banks and big buisness. And the rate housing is increasing these house won't be resold to Whitey's, who won't be able to afford them, but ACTUALLY reserving them them to fulfill the interest of well heeled ethnics. Talk about a degenerated country! I would gladly supply the link, but with the courtesy and language you are using, you can FU%^K&*! well PISS* OFF. UP YOURS, YOU ARROGANT, CONDESCENDING LITTLE MAN, OR WHATEVER YOU ARE! I support regulated immigration to protect ALL AREAS of Canadian interest, unlike yourself. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. It is not my fault the federal government chose ethnics as the main source of immigration. Like I previously said, what the government is doing to Canada in the way of immigration is a 'slap in the face' to organized Canadian society and a 'slap in the face' to the citizens of Canada who worked so hard to achieve this. -

You are the ignorant one. An advocate is a "person who speaks in favour" and that my dear Renegade can refer to supporting the milking of cows or supporting chlorinated water etc, etc. An advocate is a general word to describe anything anyone might be in favour of. A spokesman, contrary to an advocate is "a person who speaks on behalf of others esp. in the course of public relations" or "a person deputed to express the views of a group". Definition obtained from the hardcover edition of the 'Concise Oxford Dictionary'. Pertaining to this thread and 'ethnics' and another thread to 'homosexuals' it is clear you are expressing the views associated with certain' GROUPS and not generalities BUT namely groups 'ethnics' and 'homosexuals'. Therefore IMO it is more accurate to describe your efforts speaking on behalf of a groups interest as a spokesman. I decided otherwise. Why should 'I allow a citizen of the world' to beat down Canadian culture. Why should it is since the creation of the country our Canadian culture. That is BS and you know it, as there other factors related to excess immigration that can destroy a country. The federal government has failed to properly supply the required infrastructure to accommodate the predicted 1% immigration rate of Canada's total population, which works out to about 330,000 new immigrants every year. Who's houses are these immigrants buying from a housing supply not meant to accommodate full grown adult immigrants unleashed on Canadian cities? Who's subsided housing are these immigrants using from a supply not meant to accommodate hordes of new immigrants? I certainly don't consider post-WWII immigration excessive. -

That was Martin who encouraged Canadians to but new cars and homes. Here we are struggling with the impact of high ratio foreign immigration in Canada and Renegade tries to counter the effects of ethnic immigration in Canada, to highly populated cities in the U.S. whereas a garbage collector in New York City makes 80k a year. Our economies are totally different due to demographics, face realities and address the issue accordingly. Like or hate has nothing to do with the issue and you are the one making this statement, not I. The issue is relating to the 'effects of high ratio immigration' and the White English speaking, Canadian Christian and the current Canadian cultural status quo. Whatever you consider the reason, they are destabilizing housing in major Canadian cities by creating an artificial growth factor that normally would take years, compared to Canadian couples raising families from birth to self sustaining adults. This is what happens when the federal government allows high ratio immigration (grown up adults) to be unleashed on cities WITHOUT THE PROPER INFRASTRUCTURE, demand dramatically exceeds supply and housing cost skyrocket. And I am astounded by your lack of personal knowledge on the subject or at least your inability of not sharing any information on the subject. -

I struggle with no word, little Hitler, and prefer to use 'self proclaimed spokesman' to describe your efforts to express the views of ethnics in this thread. Nothing like wasting my time debating with a 'citizen of the world' who doesn't even hold Canadian values but expresses his own delusionary fantasies or thinks he is expressing the views of ethnics. Well then have least have the courtesy to tell us WTF you are talking about? Another Renegade un-Canadian, 'citizen of the world', post. Does that make it 'official'? According to you. Why ask me, I thought you already knew everything or is your goal to try to humiliate? This is exactly what I am talking about when debating with a 'citizen of the world' who does not know what Canadian values are. I am not saying any such thing, you are. What we have in Canada, is a carry on of the war on 'the Plains of Abraham' by Canadian politicians that have been to cowardly, to properly settle the matter years ago. -

You have made it clear you are an unqualified spokesman supporting ethnic interest in this thread. No I am not an English professor who has presumably mastered the English language. What I am is an instrumentation mechanic experienced in scientific, pneumatic, hydraulic equipment and control systems as well as refrigeration and A/C, ultra-low freezer units and centrifuges. What are you? I explained in proper fashion the words "I jump at no conclusion" did not originate off of my keyboard, but naturally assume direct responsibility for the rest of that statement. No one ever said it did. I haven't a clue WTF your talking about! People generally want to immigrate to a certain country because they like it the way is. According to you! Outside of cultural problems experienced with Quebec but pertaining to our White, English speaking, Christian culture HAS been static for the last 130 years prior to the onslaught of high ratio ethnic immigration. Minority cultural clashes have been prominent in Canada since Canada became a country, relating to Quebec vs./all other parts of English speaking Canada. -
Then what exactly is the point of a cabinet shuffle?

It wasn't that long ago previous PM Paul Martin was encouraging Canadians to buy new houses and new cars. It was the feds who sold out BC to ethnic interest and they are basically the reason why house prices are ridiculous high in BC and catching up in Ontario where in Toronto it was reported a house sold for more than 600k over the asking price. Must be near that new temple. I have noticed in Ottawa sections of neighbourhoods are all ethnic and price it seems is no barrier for ethnics to get in on one if these neighbourhoods. In my neighbourhood a contractor bought a moderate house for 180k, did a little work mainly cosmetic and resold that house to a Chinese buyer for a cool 380k. Nobody can believe anyone would pay that much for this particular house. So selling out properties to ethnics for inflated prices is causing a rapid rise in real estate prices in Ontario and will result with housing out of reach of native Canadians, where we are just about at now, anyways. I doubt all these high taxes are going to save the country when coupled with other major problems high priced housing is causing. Your breathless with anticipation, rea--l-l-l-ly now. I have noticed our subsidized housing projects are full of them, yet they are mostly all driving new or almost new mini-vans. So they are all here at the low end and at the high end. Our daughter is married to a Jewish fellow and there are cultural problems between our families, mainly on his side, due to the fact he married outside of his religion. As a matter of fact they are still trying to lure him back to Italy where they are currently living with prospects of meeting his old Jewish girlfriend. Very nice people. I would advise no one to marry outside of their race or culture. -

You have already admitted you are not an ethic and you have been defending ethnic interest this entire thread, so that makes you a liar when you deny you are NOT a spokesman on their behalf. I have no idea where the words "I jump at no conclusion came from as it was NOT part of my original post. What I posted was: "I am specifically attacking a flawed and hateful immigration system and one that totally ignores the rights of long standing Canadians and their efforts in establishing a successful culture in this country." Canadians have been making their cultural choices for years and were free to follow the cultural practices of their choice, WITHOUT THE CHARTER! What we are talking about Renegade for the millionth time the detrimental effects on the existing cultural status quo by high ratio ethnic immigration. That's because cultural upheaval is not here yet. but give it a chance with 300,000 immigrants coming into Canada every year, it won't be long before we have SIMILAR conditions as Britain and France. We learn from experience. -

Harper: Canada never so united since 1967
Leafless replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Most of his ideas were culturally based. Official languages, biculturalism to multiculturalism, Quebec cultural legacy, bilingualism, constitutional legacy (Charter). The point is Trudeau worked against Canada by FAILING to establish a single unified culture. Culture was the name of the game with Mr.Trudeau and is the prime reason we currently have dysfunctional politics in Canada. -

If you claim your not a spokesman for other cultures, then you are lying as facts speak for themselves with many replies in this thread under the name of Renegade. I jump at no conclusions but am specifically attacking a flawed and hateful immigration system and one that totally ignores the rights of long standing Canadians and their efforts in establishing a successful culture in this country. You are an outright fool to believe such an unattainable theory. Trudeau said the same thing and all the time working for the interest of Quebec. Seems to me you mean you have failed to grasp the meaning of your own statement. If most do, that does mean all, yet again (not even reading what you wrote) allege I am the ONLY one in Canada that thinks it is traitorous to accept ethnic high ratio immigration and their extreme incompatible cultures responsible for the dismantling of Canada's majority White English speaking Christian culture. Please cite your source, spokesman. I am talking about imposing another major foreign culture (or several) in place of of our current Canadian culture, due to high ratio ethnic immigration and the lack of important controls relating to the 'sell out' of our current Canadian culture and Canada itself. This is total BS. Immigration per year in Canada is 300,000 plus. These kind of numbers will remove the existing cultural status quo and I don't think many Canadians will be to happy with that. I believe eventually there will be cultural and race uprisings or revolutions in Canada. Part of the governments current plan to sell expensive homes to ethnics will only backfire by raising house prices across the country ( where we are at now) to be totally unaffordable by native Canadians. Small business operated by ethnics won't really help either as there are only a limited number of Canadian purchasing dollars at any given time. And how many Canadians do these small businesses employ and how many ethnic dollars are sent back to ethnics homeland rather than to be spent in Canada. Speaking of tolerance, you are one of the most intolerant individuals I have ever encountered. Throughout this entire thread you have made no effort to discuss cultural problems but simply replied with arrogant, immature, cheap shot allegations. -

You have been playing the race card throughout this thread. Obviously then you are the unqualified spokesperson for other cultures, other than your own. In my book this makes you a minority racist instigator. Tolerant is a loaded word just and in the same ballpark as religious is. So obviously, being unrealistically, extremely tolerant is normal in your vocabulary because that is the level of societal indifference being displayed by the actions of ethnics. So, according to you, all Canadians are supposed to accept this traitorous societal indifference. Then go ahead, call me racist all you want and I will laugh in your face. We know what your view is relating to every other culture but Canadian culture , relating to the 'three wise (un- Canadian cultural) monkeys' hear about no other culture, see no other culture, speak about no other culture, while allowing them to sweep away the major components of the' White, English speaking, Christian Canadians culture'. This is the kind of Canadian patriotism you advocate, traitor. -

I fail to see where you have to right to promote autonomy, yet expect us to “embrace your culture” when you have no interest in embracing ours. Your simple existence here is not good enough to form any kind of mainstream Canadian cultural identity that would make you a welcomed addition to Canada. I don’t see how it is fair to have your own schools, your own communities, your cliques, clubs, councils and organisations; lobby groups, political groups, alliance groups, community liaison groups. Surely you must see the obvious link between ethnics and racist ideologies with ethnics possessing those SAME racist notions as you accuse me of having, yet Canada's culture is a majority White English speaking, Christian country with all its its associated customs and traditions, since the birth of this country. What ethnic arrogance and nerve to belittle loyal Canadian patriots in the fashion you have demonstrated in this thread.
