What went wrong for Hillary Clinton?
Leafless replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Why Hillary appeared to have failed? Her impersonation has an Evangelistic preacher is not quite as good as Obama's. -

How was the Charter created. I am asking you. You say it does not discriminate. This is very important so please answer it. You are talking about how this discriminatory piece of legislation was ratified, even though Canada's constitution of 1867 is BRITISH and not Canadian. They call it Canadian after the BNA Act was repatriated but only allows parliament to make some amendment's to the original BNA Act and still requires the approval of the Queen for some other types of amendments. Regardless we are still a Constitutional Monarchy and the Queen is Head of State and holds other titles. Unfortunately it does include Quebec. And strangely enough Quebec benefits the most under Charter Section 16, under 'Official Languages of Canada' which itself was never presented to the people of Canada to reject or accept this official title of basically the minority French language as the majority English language never required any official status. Regardless this section promotes a minority language French special privileges that discriminates against against speakers of the majority English Language and also makes it a condition of employment in the Federal public service utilizing compulsory bilingualism abusing the rights of English speakers even though Sec.16-1 says "English and French are the official languages of Canada and have equal rights and privileges as to their use in all institutions of the parliament and government of Canada. This is false and discriminates. Section 1. of the Charter says we are a free and democratic society, which we are not, even relating to this very Charter. Section 2. Under fundamental freedoms does not support as what is stated. (a)Freedom of conscience and religion. Why is it not a freedom? Federal political interference. (b] Freedom of thought , belief, opinion of expression, including freedom of the press and other means of communication. Why is it not a freedom? Federal political interference. I could go on as there are more discriminatory aspects of this Charter which is an amendment to the original BNA Act or Canada Act as they like to call it. Although this Charter meets legal requirement the amending of a foreign constitution should include Canadian citizens as part of the amending formula. This requires a thread of its own and has little to do with Gitmo. -

Your logic on differences between the U.S. Bill of Rights and Canada's Charter makes no sense because what we are talking about is how the Charter was created in comparison to the Bill of Rights created from the U.S. Constitution which was created by delegates of the Second Continental Congress unlike Canada with the Charter basically stemming from Pierre Trudeau and the Liberal party of Canada with great Quebec influence. That is the issue! The Canadian Charter IS a government , both federally and provincially, imposed undemocratic, racist, socially engineered document. Rights combined with social engineering without citizen input is the trademark of a totalitarian government. -
One would assume Obama would be extremely careful reinforcing claims that he is secretly following the Islamic faith. Fully decked out as a Muslim, Obama it seems has no fear of negative repercussions and appears he is purposely flaunting the Muslim image. Shame on Obama and hopefully Americans will recognize this arrogant, unpatriotic behavior and vote for a democrat that knows what America is all about.

A-1. Best of luck Drea.

Forget it Drea. You and I are just are not on the same wavelength relating to important negative characteristics relating to modern and nuclear families as in comparison to the traditional family.

Mostly, it is a guideline directing individuals to their associated rights. Look up words closely related to communism in the dictionary and you will see a 'map of Canada'. -

Granted, support for co-operation from other countries should have been done behind closed doors. If your view are any bit representative of the official U.S. or NATO view, then I hope Canadian politicians have their ears open wide on this one. -

Sponsorship, no, but you might have trouble understanding this...terrorism must be working...right? -
Then you obviously agree with the ways of the socialistic snake oil salesman, Obama.

Looks like mom is looking for reward time. This is what contributes to the down fall of the family and that is the disassociation of the normal chores that greatly helps initially, to create the bonding, that in turn helps create a loyal family attachment, by all members of the family and is not dependent on commercialism. Has this not always been the case regardless, of family chores being done on the weekend? This is debatable as most microwave prepared meals do not provide the type of nutrition necessary and many families simply do not have the resources to include a variety of expensive ready made store bought items. What makes you justify that? Is this not added stress? Hockey, dances especially relating to younger children is where they pick up many of their bad habits relating to other children who have not been raised properly.

Foreign Nationalists in Canada: Please Leave
Leafless replied to kengs333's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I share your sentiments but our own government encourages this type of behavior by failing to encourage the type of immigration with cultures compatible with the culture of our own majority native Canadians. This is a root problem with mainly ethnic immigration being the importation of UNWANTED foreign political baggage. -
And I have lost faith with the fickleness of the American people.

With the help of France, Spain and Holland. Shame! Very little progress at beating down minority racism and discrimination, as the White English speaking majority as usual, refuses to take a more direct political stand on the issue despite pleas to MP's. The sixteen countries might have to deal with it. But that's okay, come crying to Canada for support. Quebec does. -

If you don't recognize the Charter as being discriminatory and racist, then there is no logic in discussing this any further. There are so many rights in Canada that they have to categorize them by alphabet, enough to make your head spin. Maybe not yours. -

Britain is on the other side of the ocean. Your little rebellion just happened to get lucky with inadequate British forces forces to put you in your place. Mass mental retardation is nothing to boast about. This was a NATO endeavor to help stop the violence. Perhaps NATO to-day is as corrupt as what you say American interest are. -

Holding out the 'carrot stick' to entice groups to break away from a legal entity with the end result causing chaos and death could be interpreted as an act of terrorism in itself. Just consider yourselves very lucky breaking away from Britain who just happened to be on the other side of the ocean. Brave boys you were! -

Should Canada Recognize Kosovo Independence?
Leafless replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Oh, is that what you call assimilation? The British failed at assimilating Quebecers. I would say they probably did consider what you stated or similar but in reality did not really know what to do with them. Instead they decided to use them and selected to give them the Quebec Act in return for acting as a British ally. -

The break up of Canada could very well be on the top of the list relating to U.S. interest. Can you blame them?? -
What % of non-whites are assimilated into Canadian culture?
Leafless replied to iForgot's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
I am to difficult to figure out and you don't question the antics of the feds undemocratic, discriminatory 'Charter of rights and Freedoms'. I don't believe in official multiculturalism for the simple reason it requires the intervention of state control which leads to oppression and discrimination of other groups. IOW- The more equality the more government control....absolute equality means absolute government control. Briefly if I were prime minister everyone in Canada would be expected to be unconditionally Canadian first and be expected to conform to the majority culture and traditions of the land. There would be no 'Charter of Rights and Freedoms in the hands of the federal government and our original 'Bill of Rights would be reinstated and turned over to individual provinces to allow them full control relating to those specific rights. The addition of rights would be allowed but only utilizing a democratic process such as a referendum with a basic predetermined percentage. The undemocratic selling out the country to the counter productive political whims of minorities constitutes traitorism in my book. -

LOL! The U.S. does not incorporate undemocratic EXTREME LIBERALISM like Canada does. Canada compared to the U.S. is next to Cuba, with Cuba being a country Canada should have black listed but never did. I wonder why? -

Again I am only responding to the views of BC and NOT the U.S. government. My biggest concern in all of this is that the U.S. by recognizing the illegal separation from Serbia is promoting the idea that 'self determination' pays off. This is a bad example to be giving other groups in the world who could be thinking of doing likewise. This is the recipe for possible wide scale blood shed. -

I am only responding to BC's post and his views and not the U.S. government. Every country has its personal interest and the U.S. is no different.
