Obviously you are not even spelling correctly what you think you are. My Oxford dictionary defines Franco as 'French'. My Oxford dictionary defines Francophone as 'French speaking'. The province of Ontario is NOT a French speaking province and does NOT recognize federal official languages as the official languages of the province. Obama is sounding more and more like a typical 'citizen of the world' rather than the president of the U.S. In a similar way Canada currently is in a worse positon than the U.S. and is still suffering major ill effects from having a minority in power.

CANADIEN likes to identify himself as a Franco-Ontarian. The only problem is, he is not a Francophone if he lives in Ontario as it would be virtually impossible to exist day by day speaking only French in Ontario. What CANADIEN really should be designated as (and others like him in Ontario or elsewhere in the country) is simply a bilingual individual. This way there would be no Francophones living outside of Quebec and Francophones outside of Quebec would be a non-issue. Blame our politically correct politicians for giving away rights to so called Francophones in provinces that have nothing to do with federal official languages.

Why even suggest any choice for this U.S. prisoner? The war is still ongoing and the U.S. reserves the right to deal with this prisoner the way they see fit according to their laws. They have an obligation to their citizens to do this.

A good many of them are separatist and hard core nationalist that will not support a Western leader, no matter what. We have four parties in Canada and don't need Quebec to win and don't need someone from Quebec to govern. Majority English speaking Canadians should smarten up and vote culturally, like Quebec does. Majority English speaking Canadians never had a need or a reason to become bilingual similar to Francophones for the simple reason nationalistic Quebec never did or could provide normal incentitives or never did open it's job market to English speaking Canadians bilingual or not. When I was there many research scientist were complaining all they did was repeat experiments already carried out in the U.S. Results were already known and there was not much of an initiative to go over the same experiment with a fine tooth comb to catch anything U.S. researchers possibly missed.

What politicians have done to this country is unforgivable. Canadians were betrayed and never consulted. Speaking of CHP I gave it a quick glance and I agree with CHP's article (Two party system) in part in reference to the U.S. but the same situation exist in Canada.
