'Mr. Harper, you have failed us': Ignatieff
Leafless replied to Leafless's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The Liberals have come up with something different. http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2009/05/03/...l-platform.html This doesn't sound like anything Mr. Harper would be unable to handle. -

Well I'am not laughing trying to read your almost incomprehensible statement. The facts pertain to two separate issue's. They are not contradictory. I say it says a lot about the faulty mentality of some Canadians. And this applies to Americans who worshipped and voted in a nobody as president. -

From Radsickle who thinks murderers are nice people and are only misunderstood or misguided. -

Good idea. Go play on your grass roof. If this is your latest project I sure has hell wouldn't want to know what the others are. -

Ever hear of the neutron bomb or other types of sophisicated weapons? Just keep talking like that and it could convince certain people to give it a try. Take a hike Benny. -

Dragging in statements again not associated with this thread CANADIEN. If I did say something along those lines it is because of the discriminatory application of the Charter by the federal government. This has nothing to do with with HOW Quebec feels about the Charter or the Liberals initially losing Quebec because of it. That it was: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/sto...al_gam_mostview -

According U.S. Department of Justice in April 2009, water boarding was among 10 torture techniques authorized for the interrogation of an al-Qaida operative. This was intended for use against high-value terror suspects. It saves American's lives. I suppose you favour decapitation and dragging what is left the corpse through the streets, like what was previously done in Iraq to a U.S. prisoner. -

As a matter of fact it was as early as 1980 Trudeau did make his own amending formula and went to Great Britain to get the law passed without the consent of the provinces but failed because the provinces objected brought him to court. The 1981 Supreme Court decision left both sides declaring victory. All provinces agreed to Trudeau's proposed constitutional accord except Quebec. In 1982 the Canada Act was passed and proclaimed by the Queen, bringing the constitution back to Canada. Oh, okay, sure. All the provincial premiers went over to Great Britain to repatriate the constitution. Canada's provincial premiers except Quebec, RATIFIED it. Nevertheless, they did not want it repatriated. That is the point. Nitpicker. Simple. Patriate is NOT a word. Repatriate (although not totally accurate) in Canada's case is a word and mostly everyone uses it. -

So Radsickle tell us, how the U.S. tortured Khadr and how George W. Bush has harmed Canada? -
http://www.ottawacitizen.com/news/Harper+h...8898/story.html It seems Mr. Ignatief has been out of the country to long and does not know or forgets, that it his own party is to blame for the failure to unite Canada. Prior to unilateral repatriation of the constitution in 1981 Quebec used to be a one party Liberal province. Quebecers have not forgotten it was Pierre Trudeau who wanted and planned the repatriation despite the almost unanimous oppostiton of the National Assembly of Quebec. Quebec has not forgotten Jean Chretien's oppositon to the Meech Lake Accord. It is obvious to see Quebec's puppet masters, AGAIN, are already pulling Ignatief's strings. If Mr. Ignatief really wants something to do then maybe he should try paying attention what a PM respomsibilities are in Canada: http://www.craigmarlatt.com/canada/governm...government.html

What are you talking about. A minority government can obtain support for a piece of legislating from other parties compared to making a binding agreement with one or more parties that forms a coalition government. There is nothing wrong with gaining support from other parties to pass a piece of legislation. This is not the same as forming a coalition government.
-
Deep down kimmy, do you really think the U.S. gives a damn whether Canada is their ally or not? They are our ally simply because we are their buffer zone. Canada needs a functional well equipped military.
-
Mr. Harper denies this and is sticking to his guns what he said previously about not finding any common ground with the NDP or the Bloc. http://www.ottawacitizen.com/business/fp/H...6050/story.html

How was murderer Khadr tortured? -
A coalition party is two or more parties combined. So if the Conservatives = 1 party and for instance the NDP is the other single party you are talking about is a total of two parties. This is the definition of a coalition government, two or more parties combined.

What the hell does that have to do with Quebec entrapping majority English Canada with a minority cultural French stranglehold?
-
You make it sound as if every province has at least as many seats as Quebec. They don't and outside of Ontario, Quebec has the most poltical influence of any other province in Canada. Relating to Quebec it is called culturalism to the extreme with the emphasis on political power that in turn gives them what they want regionally and and to a degree nationally. This is totally different than the normal regional demands of other provinces in Canada. This is why I say we fight fire with fire, voting 'en masse', especially in Ontario, to keep Quebec from culturally and politcally controlling Canada.
-
Now if only stunned Ontarians would use the same logic the country might be lead out of the culture club mode and return to a more normalized state. Quebecers traditonally vote Liberal/Bloc 'en masse' to get their way, so the rest of the country should vote Conservative 'en masse' to give the Conservatives the majority they need.

Is Bin Laden an Arab? So what Arabs is Bin Laden talking about that own Middle Eastern oil? And what exactly are you talking about? What is your point? -
Dream on. You pink Liberals are all the same.

Quebec, where France left off, still fights the 'War on the Plains of Abraham' on paper. The ROC has been forced to become a SLAVE to traitor Quebec ideologies via corrupt, dysfunctional government. If that is not a good enough idea to give up, I really don't what is.

Canada is a majority Christian country. http://www12.statcan.ca/english/census01/P.../rel/canada.cfm This is secularist propaganda. How many times one attends Christian services is totally inconsequential as compared to identifing himself/herself as a Christian. This is nothing more than secularist propaganda and is NOT more accurate as statistics do not indicate this. -
